  1. Did you hover over the name in the chat (so not on the order page)? It should show up just like the example image below 🤔
  2. When you hover over the buyers name a button with 'report' will pop-up. I'd also advise you to cancel the order through customer support, so it won't harm your rates. P.s. It's against forum rules to show the buyer's name, so I suggest you cover it so your post can stay 🙂
  3. It's not possible to set Wise as the direct recipient of a withdrawal. How I've set it up is using Payoneer to withdraw my funds and I've linked my Wise account to this Payoneer account. If you want to know more about withdrawal methods click the link of Fiverr below; Withdrawal Methods
  4. Me too! I was trying to upload a file and it was 'broken' (confusion arose and thinking it was a problem on my end of course), but just now I succeeded as well 😄💃 P.s. Unrelated and I hope you don't take it in a creepy way, but I'm loving the new profile picture!
  5. I believe everybody is facing this issue since they're doing some updating most likely. Unfortunately, you just have to keep calm & wait until it's back up and running again!
  6. Ohh yeah if you put it like that I can understand where your frustration is coming from. You might want to read Fiverr's explanation of promoted gigs here Promoted Gigs: Terms of Service. For example, they state the following; Please note that there is no guarantee that the entire daily limit will be used on any day.
  7. Why did the scarecrow get promoted? Because he was outstanding in his field, is what I would call a joke. Jokes aside, I think what you're focusing on is the click-to-order ratio. What I see, is making $114,34 due to the promoted gig feature. I don't think it's related to the promoted gig feature, you just had bad luck in the buyer department, and I'll admit that sucks for you. However, this is something all Sellers are bound to run into. I think you view it as causation (promoted features causing the bad buyer), whereas I believe it is correlation (it just happens to come together). As @jonbaas mentioned, many people do have success with the promoted gigs feature. But in the end, if you feel it's not for you nobody will force you to use it!
  8. Hi there! You should know that the 'stay online 24 hours' is bad advice and will definitely not help you get orders. Instead, read tips and tricks on this forum and just create the best gig you can! Here are some helpful threads to get you started to understand more about how to become successful on Fiverr; Are you a new seller? This is how you get more orders How to be successful on Fiverr, common questions answered and a collection of great posts that helped me achieve TRS. The Biggest Seller Mistakes And How to Avoid Them And last but not least, I'd urge you to read Fiverr's Terms of Service. Many people get warnings or have their account suspended simply because they didn't read the rules. It's so easily prevented so please read this link (or just skim through what's relevant): Fiverr's Terms of Service
  9. It will of course increase your chances since it gives more room/time for the promoted gigs to run. However, in my case, I don't feel it's necessary to spend that amount since I also get 'organic' sales. I will however set it at $10! 😇
  10. Hey there! So my CPC I've put it on auto so without a price cap, since that's what Fiverr recommends. My daily budget used to be $5 but Fiverr mentioned I'd get the best ad results with $6 so I adjusted it. However, once I changed that I didn't look back at it and due to your post, it made me think to maybe increase it to $10. To give a bit more information, these settings have gotten me 11 orders this month. You can always experiment a bit! The order decrease can be due to a lot of factors, perhaps for example other competitors setting a higher CPC or more Sellers have been given the promoted gig option. So yeah, I'd just experiment away and see if it leads to getting orders again 🙂
  11. As a Seller, I'm guilty of doing this! It's often when I have multiple orders already in my queue and know that planning wise if I don't already start it, I might get into trouble. Honestly, it never went awry until a couple of days ago (so it's great timing for this thread!). However, I'm fully aware that it's my decision and therefore it's my problem. I'd never ever place that blame upon the buyer. I only asked if they still wanted the job to be done and unfortunately, the buyer never got back to me. So I moved on. Just like your Seller should've done also. But I look at the bright side of it and think to myself, at least I got a beautiful poem out of it (my opinion of course haha). So, it was just an opportunity to work on my skills 🥴
  12. Hi there! So every month on the 15th your criteria are evaluated, so if you meet those then your level will be upgraded. This means that if you met the criteria on October 16th, you have to wait until (as the message says) November 15th. However, if you already had the right criteria before October 15th then that is indeed a bit odd. Was this the case?
  13. I've started in January 2021, so I'm (sort of) almost able to celebrate my two-year Fiverr journey! It's not an acknowledged time milestone but it is a reminder of how time flies 😵
  14. That's wonderful, congratulations! I also use Fiverr as my side income so I can relate to the joyous feeling of seeing some extra money coming in 🥳 Same here. I used to be afraid to raise my prices, due to the standard thinking of 'but my competitors!' or 'nobody will buy my service if it's X price!'. Needless to say, this thinking couldn't be further from the truth. I've actually raised my prices 2 days ago and the incoming orders are similar to before 😄 good luck with your journey and with the mindset you've described I'm sure you'll come far!
  15. That's such a fun and (let's not forget) personal gift! I couldn't agree more, since I write personalized poetry 😊 romantic or not, but always unique!
  16. Well, I didn't think I had to answer this question. But here it goes! This is completely prohibited since it's faking the service you've 'provided'. It's manipulating buyers and creating a false sense of trust in the qualities you have. It's lying. It's wrong. There is no magic secret sauce that will help you become successful. As Dave Ramsey said about "the secrets of the rich" (in relation to becoming wealthy but it fits here), is that they're not a secret. The key here is that all the information is out there, you just have to apply it to your own situation. You're already gathering this information, so that's good! Now the key (secret if you will) to making all that information useful, is to see how it fits your situation. Let me give a Fiverr-specific example; Advice you might read here on the forum is to make a great gig. This consists of a good thumbnail, a well-written description and to market yourself. This applies to everybody, but what does this mean for you? Details I write in my description won't work with your potential clients. How I market myself, for example, focuses on relating to the emotional needs of clients. For you, it would be about conveying your technical expertise. Of course, we're in completely different fields but that exemplifies how every piece of information/advice is contextual. Last word of advice; freelancing is hard work! Success won't happen overnight. It's about consistently building your profile and adjusting it where necessary over time.
  17. Promoted gigs do help me gain more revenue (see the stats of last month as proof). I do have a lot of clicks that aren't conveyed into orders. But I still made a profit with a small investment. In your case, you made $20 which otherwise you maybe wouldn't have earned. So I don't understand why you'd see it as a joke really!
  18. Oh yes, don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those types who will send love letters to ones who were caught! It's indeed the (I guess you could say cliche) fascination with their psyche, as well as their downfall. On today's episode; "The Ypsilanti Ripper"- John Norman Collins 🕵️‍♀️ I appreciate your acceptance! 😇
  19. I don't stay on Fiverr, unless I have clients to respond to or orders to deliver. Staying online does not help you get orders. Let me repeat for the ones in the back; 📣STAYING, BEING, AND REMAINING ONLINE ON FIVERR DOES NOT PROVIDE ORDERS📣 Neither does time on the forum. The forum is solely a helpful tool to understand Fiverr better and to read about tips & tricks that you need to apply to your own situation and services. This is against Fiverr's Terms of Service and using it will result in having your account suspended. Don't use it!
  20. Well, I hope I won't be judged for this but.... I listen to a podcast about serial killers 🙈 I normally hate podcasts, but these ones are scripted (so no mumbo jumbo talk back and forth) and the people have very soothing voices! Plus, it's not too interesting where I have the need to be awake for every small little detail they mention. But yeah, I do acknowledge the fact it's a bit strange drowsing off into a lovely sleep whilst hearing about gruesome murder and bloody violence in the background 😅
  21. They're perfect! Known and obvious (but not too obvious 😉) Bonus points to those who can name all 45 of them 😂
  22. Hi there forum friends! Let me cut to the chase. Last year I created a quiz for my family with famous (and not-so-famous) movie lines that needed to be guessed. I'm doing famous English lyrics this year, which I'll translate into my native language (Dutch). However, although my mental musical library is vast, I'd also like the quiz to be mixed with all sorts of genres, times, and artists. Of course, I'll use good ol' Google but I figured everybody on here might enjoy a question that differs from the usual Fiverr woes as well. So here's the task at hand. The mission if you will. Please comment a specific lyric! Can be a few lines too, I'm not that strict of a quiz master 🤓 I'll happily take any suggestion, as long as the lyrics are in English and somewhat famous! Although I understand 'somewhat' is quite vague, so just drop anything you feel would be fun to include 🎵 And yes, if my family doesn't know the lyrics the hint will be me humming the tune so if that doesn't say dedication idk what does.
  23. That's quite a long time! And not even getting a reply from your Success Manager defeats the purpose of having one I think....😒 I also understand that CS' primary service isn't to cancel orders. However, this seems like such a cumbersome method! First resolution center and then ask CS to revert the stats? Because it leads to situations like yours where time is ticking! Since the 15th is tomorrow, have you heard anything back yet?
  24. Hi there and welcome to the community! 🥳 You can search the forum for tips that you're specifically looking for, but just to make it easier I've pasted some helpful threads below that will help you get started, as well as help you understand how Fiverr works: Are you a new seller?
