  1. I was on vacation and a friend of mine were watering my plants and stuff like that. When I came back, everything was normal, expect one little detail... I have some small decorative stone/metal animals as souvenirs from vacations (lions, a small elephant...) Well... The small elephant was becoming more curious over my vacation and started smelling the lions butt. 😀
  2. I have seen this message 100x times now. Why is it always coming back?
  3. Your description is also quite short. You can include more information on there. Try to use bulletpoints for a structured and informational description.
  4. It might be the gig category that is not getting as many impressions as other categories. Did you search for the keywords yourself and checked where you land? This way you can check if your seo is alright. You can also add better FAQ to the low performing gig. Try to include keywords, but dont spam them. Make sure the faqs reflect what possible clients would like to know and clear their possible questions out the way.
  5. What is your question? I had trouble with orders in the beginning aswell. You have to make sure you agree with the client on the requirements. Try to make everything as clear as possible. What went wrong with the orders?
  6. No human can be online all the time. It will do more damage than anything else. if you are 24/7 online, get a message but are not able to properly answer your client (because you actually sleep) it will make a much worse impression than answering when you are back online.
  7. next time look through the forum and search before you ask 🙂
  8. This collection of common questions should be very helpful to you.
  9. Try to refresh multiple times, maybe the amount increases everytime you refresh? 🤑
  10. Happened quite a few times, but its mostly cheap talk to put pressure on the seller to prioritize their work. It can be safely ignored. It makes no difference if the buyer says they will order much more in the future, what counts is your consistency with all your buyers, not matter what. If you deliver a great quality, they will eventually come back. (If they need the service again, they will think of you and not risk going with a new seller they dont know)
  11. Receiving feedback on your work, your gig or pretty much anything in life is crucial. But, you will not get help easily. You have to put in some effort in order for others to feel motivated to help you. It happens very often that people ask simple questions (without questionmarks, so they are not even actually asking.) Asking "questions" like this will never give you helpful insights or tips and tricks. Nobody will be compelled to share their experiences. So I thought I just leave this here:
  12. or be like me and shave it off, so nothing to worry about and easiest self-care routine ever haha 🤓
  13. When I created my gigs, I was looking at all of the succesful sellers and found some inspiration. More like "Dos and Donts". Some things just have proven effectively, otherwise not many sellers would the same thing. I strongly believe that when I started out, I got my first orders pretty quickly because I tried to have a unique thumbnail design that looked very different (but still somewhat professional and cleanly designed) from all the other thumbnails in my category. They all had a very homegenous look (code background stock image + Programming Language icon + some words about the gig) I went into a different direction and I think that made my start alot easier.
  14. I only do all-nighters... programmer-sickness I guess 🥴
  15. I think having the option to report is huge improvement and difference to BR. It is hopefully thin out the spam through the report system. I always felt kinda stupid "cleaning" up the buyer requests without the possibility to report spam or tos violations.
  16. don't be boring your dream and don't be tried your dream. From now on, I will live my life to the fullest and follow this life changing advice.
  17. Thats pretty cool. Working from a foreign country while also travelling and experiencing a new culture has been a dream for me. 😎
  18. Its a no brainer. What I wonder about is the new rising of AI generated images which is trained based on artworks of many artists. Its not a concern for Fiverr I suppose, but it still arises interesting questions about where intellectual property of art ends and where interpretation begins.
  19. oh wow thats very insightful. Actually now thinking about it, I may have unknowingly used this technique when negotiating prices with my clients. Many of my clients wanted very huge tasks (which a programmer would need months for), when I told them the realistic price tag for a high quality programmer for their ideas, many were very surprised. What I succesfully did was offering this "mid" tier package with their ideas stripped down to the core ideas and strongest ROI for their product and with much less effort to do. It was a great selling point. Although I may have been low balling some bigger possible clients, I had manageable orders and still a good price.
  20. btw posting a gig on your profile is basically like a sellers request isnt it. 😄
  21. it most certainly needs a rework. It has been a mess like this when I started. I just remove the spam ones and pick the few ones that interest me. Not sure if today genuine buyers still use it as much as 2 years ago.
  22. hahaah okay I get whats going on here. thats so weird and random. 🥸 😅
  23. no its not allowed, its a Buyers Request not a sellers request 😄 Read more: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360050062693?segment=buyer
