  1. 10000 clients. Man you are a machine! 😨
  2. Artstation is my favourite platform. It has a very high standard. For 3D artists, a big recommendation from me would be the Polycounts forums, where many skilled artists share their knowledge and give detailed feedback. There also great discord-communities for learning and getting feedback and help, for example the Dinusty Empire (for 3D and 2D art). For most topics there are active discords community where people from the field discuss insights, techniques and help each other.
  3. as a Freelancer you cannot expect to have a steady income and steady flow of new customers / repeating customers. That is the risk that you carry as a Freelancer, there is no real solution to that, because it will always be your responsibility to acquire new customers. (Compared to if you'd be doing your services for a company as an employee, where another person is responsible for acquisition.) There is many ways of mitigating this risk and when you already have repeating customers, Id say thats the best way. Trying to bind as many customers to your service as possible.
  4. its a cat and mouse game really, people will always somehow be able to trick the system and a platform can only go so far not to negatively impact the average user experience. A person dedicated enough could always slip through, but all the tools you mentioned are efficient enough to get rid of most people who try something like this.
  5. I think your gig image is not well designed. Its hard to read, white font on pink/red/orange. Try to go for a simpler design and use less text. Just put on there whats most promising about your gig. About the description: The first section is too big and contains unimportant information. Same thing here, try to nail it down to whats most important. One last tip, try to add an encouragement for the buyer to motivate them to get started with your gig. it can be a direct call to action. Good luck!
  6. in my field (game development) in 95% of the cases ordering without a discussion beforehand makes no sense. For small scripts / very generic tasks, then maybe. But most of my orders had complex and unique requirements that MUST be discussed before. And yes, most of the time that custom order will have a higher price than the sniping orders, but for a good reason. No developer can do everything. Programming and especially game engines have 1000s of features that all require expertise to do develop something properly. So a discussion about the challenges, possibilites, estimated effort and ... price is a must for me. Most of my completed orders were customs, all of my cancelled orders were sniping orders. Honestly, if I could get rid of the sniping orders and only offer custom orders, I would do it in an instant.
  7. I think its a really effective idea to change perspective. I always tried to make everything as appealing as possible. But I never really asked myself this particular question. "Would I order from myself?" It really shines some light on things that could be improved. I will think about that for a while. Thanks! ^^
  8. Its not easy, but it must not be very difficult. It depends on what you offer, how saturated the gig category is, how well you design your page and what kind of work you can already show off. If I remember correctly, I got my first offer after about one week of adding my gigs.
  9. cooking tofu right is really difficult though 😄 I tried many different kinds of tofu and ways to prepare it.
  10. I made some asian style food with tofu instead 😄 Something like this but improvised: https://www.feastingathome.com/szechuan-tofu-and-veggies/
  11. Its just a Fiverr notification to show you some tips and guidelines. What is it you want to have explained?
  12. SEO is interesting, I am learning about it right now. Good luck! 👍
  13. welcome to the fiverr. 👍is this your first time freelancing?
  14. If you succesfully completed your first order, thats a good start. Congrats. 👍 Make sure you do your best work. Be communicative and authentic. The next order will come. Reviews will come. More impression and clicks will come. You can read here about the Levels on Fiverr: https://www.fiverr.com/levels In my experience, becoming a higher level seller is not as difficult as staying one. It takes alot of work and attention. Good luck, feel free to ask any questions you have in here.
  15. Fiverr Fee Currency Calculator

    https://fee-calculator.com/

When I started on Fiverr, I programmed a command-line tool to calculate the estimated earning for a gig. Now I created this website which can help you find the right amount for your customg orders. It will calculate the Fiverr fee and currency conversion fees and also your expected hourly rate.

Let me know if you have any feedback regarding the usability.

  16. Its not true. Tipping is very common in europe aswell. In restaurants, bars, clubs. When I have been tipped here on Fiverr, then it was from european clients. Generally, I think tipping is becoming exctinct. I have been talking to a bartender in sweden, where they pay everything with card. (even one beer in a pub) and he said, that since he started bartending a few years ago, the people started to give less and less tips. And by now, nobody tips at all. I think its a courtesy to do so. Its just polited and respectful to give someone who provides a service for you some extra money. Not even when it was an extraordinary service, but just the service in it self should be appreciated.
  17. Also the right singing and speaking technique can influence how is easily your vocal chords are stressed. Basically using your diaphragm and only putting as much pressure as needed to produce the results.
  18. I agree that a download all as .zip functionality would be useful. But why dont you just zip it up yourself ? and only upload one image for the preview / portfolio. I always do it that way.
  19. Didnt know Adobe had a DAW. Will have to check it out sometime. Is also supporting engines like Kontakt ? I have used many DAWs, mostly Cubase and Reaper in the past. But since I got Ableton, I wont go back. It has the best User interface and has lots of drag and dropping.
  20. lollol well, in the free lounge you have people to talk to and meet new friends, and also you have a freee TV! But the chairs look way more comfy in the premium lounge. tough question! 😄
  21. Never be afraid to get help and feedback. I dont know about the 1on1 advice in Fiverr Pro, but in my experience its ALWAYS extremly benefical to learn from others. I have taught myself many skills, including 3D modeling, texturing and programming. And I would never have the skillset that I have now, if I wouldnt have constantly asked for feedback and 1on1 mentoring.
