  1. Exploring options on the new forum.

  2. Do the videos have captions and transcripts now? I thought it was a good idea even without these new features, but couldn’t participate.
  3. From a completely mercenary standpoint, these messages also decrease our average hourly wage. Service-related freelancing only pays for work completed, not answering messages. If, as Visualstudios said above, that message provides value to me, it is (or can be) profitable in some way, even if not monetary. Otherwise, it hurts income.
  4. Fiverr is not your employer. I highly doubt they’d give recommendation letter to anyone.
  5. Your post makes perfect sense. It’s a shift from perceived relevance/importance (SEO, reviews, etc.) to actual, real, live relevance/importance (happy buyers = more sales = more money for Fiverr). If this is happening – and I think it should – then it could have very positive longer-term effects on Fiverr’s public reputation, too. Bonus for high-quality sellers.
  6. I recently used OOO for almost two months due to a health issue. I almost didn’t get back in time to keep my 60-day ranking high enough. Yikes! The gig ranking did disappear, but didn’t take too long to come back. It took about one week this time for orders to start rolling in again. Best wishes to you!
  7. USA, UK, Canada, Australia, China, then the Ukraine.
  8. I haven’t worked outside the house in over a decade. The last holiday party I was forced to go to for work ended up with my boss bullying me and another woman into singing the Twelve Days of Christmas in front of everyone. I’ll stay home and just keep working, thanks!
  9. 35% for me. I have all of Europe except Portugal, Bosnia, Serbia, and Norway. It’s fun to track this.
  10. It’s all automatic flagging at the start. I used to say things like “… not allowed to link to outside work” and occasionally got put under review. It cleared up right away because, obviously, I’m not breaking the rules. I’m a bit paranoid about losing my account here, so I find other ways to say things. My schedule is full, Fiverr requires only on-site information, etc.
  11. This could very well be it. I do this semi-frequently when I’m overbooked. Vacation Mode just means I’m not taking any new orders for a day or two. Unless the seller doesn’t deliver, I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
  12. Like others mentioned here, I also have a Fiverr-approved portfolio with just a few samples of different types of writing on it that I do share if a potential client asks. Very few ask. I do explain that due to TOS and confidentiality, I will never share outside or actual client work with them. I suppose some may consider I copy-pasted the articles from elsewhere, though I’m sure the intelligent ones can check easily. I’ve never had a problem with this before. To each their own.
