Fiverr might prioritize your gigs as your level is up, but not guarantee you will got an order(s).

Achieving a fiverr level is an opportunity to reach a wider audience, in no way, shape, or form does it guarantee you more orders. You have to put in work, don't expect fiverr to babysit you.

Actually when you become top rated seller you usually have less sales, because you are inclined to increase your prices..

The Laffer Curve is often used to illustrate such points.  Increased prices = increased revenue (The Price Effect), and increased prices = decreased sales (The Quantity Effect).  In other words, there is a theoretical balance between price and quantity which yields the highest revenue.

Well, don't cancel too many orders, deliver on time, provide the best service quality and be respectful to people. They are giving you their hard-earned money for a service, so it might as well be worth it. That's the philosophy I follow, and overall it did well. Of course there are some rotten trees in the kitchen, but that's expected, you will always find some people that are hard to work with, or maybe you are not a good fit for them. Regardless, be respectful and honest, don't take any work that you are unable to achieve. 

So there's no real recipe for maintaining your rank/level on Fiverr, rather than being professional and treating this like a business.

In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily. 

There are many factors to take into consideration, some of which may include: 

• Order cancellations
• Delivery rate
• Responsiveness
• The particular Gig’s maximum number of active orders in the queue, as based on your seller level.  
• Other Gigs performing at a higher rate.

If other sellers are ranked higher, they may be consistently getting 5-star feedback, delivering on time, communicating quicker, and so on. It all counts. For this reason, ensure that you provide high-quality and original work, avoid late deliveries and cancellations, are responsive, and always remain professional.

No, Fiverr promotes gigs which make them money, so selling services are the only way to get a higher "rank"
