Impressions are when your gig appears on the search page.

Impressions will always be higher, because not everyone will click on your gig when they search for something.

I'm going to assume you have misspoken. Impressions do not turn into gigs. However, impressions could lead to clicks, if the user that generated that impression chooses to click your gig tile/image, and learn more.

I'm almost ready to give up on any of this... I've gotten impressions, almost no clicks, and spoken to countless Asians who want me to allow them to use my computer remotely which has NOTHING to do with any of my gigs... I've been on here since February... Maybe one day... 😆

It can be challenging starting out, hehe! Try the buyer requests to get at least a few orders on your belt, it may improve your situation on getting more clicks to orders 😄

It won't be effective at all, unless the people looking for your services are connected to you on LinkedIn. Since that's not the kind of people you would be connected to on a business networking social media site, you might find it to be more effective to learn who your target customers are, and go wherever those people are located.
