  1. You agree to the 20% fee when you sign up, you can't complain. Upwork have dropped theirs to 10% recently for sellers. You have a choice!
  2. Our amount of Spam messages has increased this year for sure!
  3. Every so often I recieve a message asking; 'Hi there Nice to meet you I need your help', 'hi', 'hello' etc. and then proceeding with 'do you want to earn the mo..ney out of here?' or contact me on Telegram / WhatsApp for more Information. You can block or report the account already I believe, but another way for the sellers to easily get the account suspended/removed would be to simply to 'tag' @fiverr support into the message box. This could send an alert straight to the monitoring team, which could then look to see if the account is a fake/bot/scammer Just an idea!
  4. Would Fiverr ever limit the amount of sellers in one category?
  5. It's about time Fiverr devs update the website to accommodate dark mode. This will definitely help my eyes! Like if you agree! Lets make this happen
  6. It depends on if we have been with the client for a long time and we know them well. Otherwise, it's a no. Maybe for new buyers who wish to test our service but those are the only exceptions.
  7. Demoted from Level 2 seller to New Seller - Will you skip Level 1 and go back to Level 2 on the next evaluation as all the targets have been met? Or do you have a month at level 1 again and the month after that return to level 2? Thanks
  8. You have missed the point here. The definition of 'New' having recently come into existence. 'produced, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time; not existing before.' The word 'New' needs to be changed as it is factually incorrect
  9. It's just a suggestion, but Fiverr using the term 'New' in this way is definitely incorrect
  10. Yes something like this. The actual definition of the term 'New' - having recently come into existence. 'produced, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time; not existing before.'
  11. Some more context. I have only had a few orders in the past 90 days and 1 was unfortunately an hour late, so my on time delivery score dropped a lot. No, I wouldn't like to be called "low quality seller" but I am clearly not a "New Seller" am I ?I just think the term "New Seller" needs to be changed that's all.
  12. Maybe - "Level 2" seller with other badges like "last delivery was late" "check recent reviews" "seller cancelled the last order" Just suggestions here.

  14. Recently, I haven't been as active on Fiverr as I once was. I have received less orders and not getting much new work in so my seller level has dropped from level 2 to 'New Seller'. 'New Seller' status does not represent me at all. How can you call someone a 'New Seller' when I have clearly been on the platform for 4 years and been at level 2 for many years. This makes no sense. I would like Fiverr to consider using another term for sellers like me that are clearly not 'New Sellers' Let's get this changed!

  16. Thank you for the post! Very insightful and interesting. I'm wondering, do you think a 'business' side of Fiverr will arrive for teams which have greater than 5 or so employees?
  17. I recon Fiverr should not give ranking points for just saying 'thanks for the advice' 'thank you'. You would then see more important comments rather than having the scroll through all the time.
  18. No, like everyone else has mentioned, this should not affect your profile.
  19. If you haven't got any reviews on your current gig, you shouldn't have any problems!
  20. Well done so far! We have been level 2 now for a year, it can be a waiting game but keep putting in the hard work and I'm sure you will be rewarded with the top rated seller badge!
  21. This is definitely a great point to raise. I have just written my own post about it. It is almost pointless for sellers to send requests without reading and understand the buyers requirements. Also, as mentioned in this post, don't send offers for things that are almost impossible. 'Getting 1000 subscribers on a YouTube video for $5' explain to the buyer that this will take time and the cost will be xxx, they often appreciate the honesty and will be more drawn to you. The more time you take on the buyer, the more confidence you can build. Great tips, thank you!
  22. I agree, you really need to understand what the buyer wants. There is no point sending a generic offer to their request, they want to know you have read their requirements and fully understand why they are asking for. Super helpful tip!
  23. This has sadly happened to us a few times as well. There is nothing the seller can do about it. Be sure to check their feedback first and when they joined Fiverr. This could be a good indication and be weary of a big order if it's a brand new buyer. Maybe use milestones instead ?
  24. They are often cheaper. They are more likely to go above and beyond as it is their first order and they wish to rank higher and receive more work on Fiverr.
