  1. It easily crosses 60% once we start factoring in the average 18% GST on all our expenses!! 🫠😂
  2. Same here @vickieito, I wasn't active on the forum for the initial 3+ years of my journey on the platform. Like you said, most of the answers are available in the Help Center and in general, Fiverr's UI is intuitive and common-sensical to follow for one and all. Though once in a few months, I used to come here and read the pinned posts from Frank and other veteran sellers to expand my point-of-view but most of the stuff about Fiverr's processes is something I have learnt on my own. (I'm sure this must have been the case with you too🙌).
  3. Forum reputation DOES NOT help the gigs or sales on the platform. So instead of chasing forum reputation with badly written advice to everyone on a daily basis - it would be far more productive to practice and refine own skillset and get better at it. Plus, people with zero sales should not be advising other new sellers!!
  4. There is NO official information on this. It would be better to focus on completing the qualification criterion for a Level 1 seller.
  5. I ask sufficient amount of questions to ascertain the 'scope of work' for the order, which also ensures that me and the buyer are on the same page wrt expectations and deliverables. 90% of my work on the platform has been through custom orders. So, through the questions, I also ascertain the time and effort which will be required for the work - to arrive at the cost & timeline for the custom order. Occasionally, I do encounter buyers who need the end product but are clueless about what information they need to provide. For them, I create a simple questionnaire in a word doc and ask them to fill it. Story:🫠 I had once encountered a buyer who refused to answer the questions and said, "I don't have time for your questions. If I had to provide you with all THESE answers, then what am going to pay you for??" 🥰
  6. Your profile has received just 4 public ratings in the last 2 months (since the launch of Success Score in Feb'24)!! Fiverr won't tell us how many orders we need to deliver to move the success score but 4 orders will certainly not help.
  7. In other news, my gig is having voluntary mood swings 😏
  8. Grammarly keeps sending this kind of summaries and often claims to detect the tonality of the conversation. I won't be surprised if Fiverr has embedded similar tech. Plus, l think @zerlina84 had shared that - Fiverr's AI can't read non-english conversations and her SM told her to converse more in English to improve the 'negative impact pertaining to effective communication'!! 🤐
  9. I had one such cancellation in the last week of Dec'23 but it had no visible impact on my stats or gig performance. I didn't receive any notification either - order just disappeared from the dashboard queue.
  10. It almost and always felt like they were trying too hard to give us some namesake features, which give us the delusion of control and command over our business!! While for real, we continue to remain at the mercy of private feedback and whims of the buyers.. 🥲
  11. Been wondering if they sent out the email by mistake to a few and not YET realized it!! I vaguely remember people receiving an email by mistake a few weeks/months back and later SM's provided clarification about it and asked peeps to ignore it. Though, I can't recall what that mail was about.🙈
  12. OP is NOT fluent in the language like he claims to be on his profile but he is trying his best!!
  13. Generally, it gets deducted from the Fiverr balance for most sellers. But since you're new, you possibly need to make payment using a credit/debit card which qualifies for international transactions.
  14. Work is work, it doesn't matter where it was done. Just remember to get the consent of the client whose work you are showcasing and avoid showcasing any information which might be proprietary, copyrighted or internal to a business.
  15. Seems like the curious case of transparent seller segmentation done by the jazzy AI. 😎 Maybe it is an April-full-joke on a selective few of us like @catwriter had predicted!! 🥰
  16. Obviously, if Fiverr has flagged your account for violation of TOS - they will NOT SHOW your gig in search results either. Also, don't obsess so much with impressions, clicks and search ranking - quality of your gig and your skills matter much MORE than where or whether gig shows up in search results or not!!
  17. SCAMMER account!! Block and report immediately.
  18. Its a SCAM!! Report and block it.
  19. Seller Plus Standard is now anyway available to one and all. They should just turn that ON for everyone as "platform usage fee". (Except for the premium subscribers. They are anyway on the hook, on a different tier) After the outrage, they can waive the fee for anyone doing more than a certain amount (i.e. $200) every month. All this will create value for shareholders too and delight them immensely. 😇
  20. A couple of observations about your gigs: 1. Your portfolio is brimming with experience and top-notch work but gig thumbnails can be sharper. A typical search page typically shows 50+ gigs, so your gig thumbnail is your best bet to stand out from the competition. 2. Your pricing seems to be very steep compared to the marketplace. May be some research in your category will help. 3. Your experience can help you qualify for "Pro Freelancer" catalogue (link). I'm not sure whether applications are open right now, but you can consider applying for it. It will help you stand out in the crowded marketplace.
  21. Just adding one more pointer to what @vickieito said - Many people have faced the issue with their mobile number too. Their number might have been in use/connected with other Fiverr account(s) in the past. Many mobile operators recycle the previously used numbers again in the market as NEW numbers.
  22. I'm sorry about what happened, this is definitely NOT ok. I hope you reported them to the support. @Lena Just looping you in here, just in case @quereddy needs help.
  23. Who told you it is required?? 🧐 And why??
  24. Coupons just facilitate simple discounting on order price between buyer & seller. Fiverr's commission will remain same always. Were you guys expecting Fiverr's commission to get adjusted against the discount in pricing?? PS Yes, we can directly reduce the price too without using coupons. Coupons just formalize it and may be give little bit of feel-good factor to the buyer in the invoice.
