  1. One can spam others for sure but the likelihood of getting orders is almost nil !!
  2. Rest of the post made me remember and reminisce about #TheFlash
  3. You can use the 'create an offer' button at the bottom of same buyer's text window to create the offer with order specifications, cost and timeline.
  4. @smartdezigns In marketing, there is an old saying that the word brand is quite abused and overly-used. On Fiverr, I observed same thing about optimization!! People just learn the spelling and start using it in every sentence. May be I should watch more YouTube expart videos and learn too...🥲
  5. Yes, seen this notification a few times in last 1 year or so but for me this ONLY happens when a buyer asks a question or leaves an enquiry of any kind on the order page. But if buyer's last reply was neutral or happy - then system doesn't demand a reply from us!! I feel system specifically looks for "question mark" or sentences starting with "what/why/how/when". Yesterday a buyer left me a few youtube links of videos he wanted me to check and choose from. And one text just said - "what do you think about this one? will this fit the narrative?" And this order's section on dashboard had the notification blaring and screaming at me for ignoring the buyer for 11 hours!! 😂
  6. You have delivered 6 orders in the last one month, which is an incredible start for a new seller. May be have some patience and not expect a windfall💰 overnight!!
  7. There was a bug on the order page today, which was asking buyer's rating to be re-submitted and then showing seller's rating for the order incorrectly too. Seems like now they have rectified it. 😇 But it legit gave me a MINI HEART ATTACK today!!
  8. As long as your account is NOT FLAGGED for policy violations, there is still hope!! Focus on improving individual gig scores through repeat buyers and SS will take care of itself over a period of time. It might be a long journey but maybe a year down the line, your stats might be in a much better position. 10% of your reviews are 3 star or below- those people must have left bad private reviews too!! Improving service and communication might just help in long run.
  9. You have delivered just one order on the platform while the person you're giving advice to has hundreds of reviews on his profile!! May be read someone's profile once, before parroting standard lines like all newbies.
  10. In theory - Yes, I agree.💯 Just that my frequency of contact with SM is very low. I barely had a couple of mail exchanges in the last 8-9 months. Alot of our peers communicate regularly and do calls too ( as they mentioned on the forum). And I often wonder, what do they all talk about? What am I missing upon/not doing in life?? 🙈 Atleast, they are achieving better ROI on their monthly invoice. 😂
  11. Totally 💯 I had similar queries about gig creation/categories when I started SP in 2021 but then I realised that a SM can't really hand out specific-advice to us, which would give us a lot of unfair-competitive advantage over those sellers who aren't part of the program. It would make the marketplace uneven too. Since then I keep my conversations issue-based in nature (usually its related to support tickets) or broad strategic guidance. And of course, RTO is the biggest plus point. I didn't even sent a mail with queries or scheduled a call after the launch of the new system, no point in clogging the already overwhelmed system at their end. Rather the outcry on the forum and zillion experiences + POV's of other sellers about success score taught me a lot. 😇
  12. Honestly, most of us never asked on forum or sought advice from others before joining the program. We saw the notification on our dashboard, opened the program page, read the benefits and signed up!! Most (relatively) new sellers think that there are hidden tricks/secrets to everything on Fiverr - that's why everyone keeps asking the SAME questions. (this is the 3rd/4th new thread on whether or not to join seller plus in last one week). Nothing beats learning things in life through our own experience and even mistakes!!
  13. You just succinctly described the entire capitalism in a single statement. 💯
  14. Nopes - it does not contribute in any manner towards gig performance!! But if you ask NEW-Supremely Confident-EXPART Sellers - they will explain the power of gig exchange like an invention which changed the world. 🫠
  15. Not really, this would amount to stalking!! I wouldn't want a buyer anywhere in my DM's outside the platform. And, it would also mean people can initiate communication outside Fiverr which violates TOS.
  16. May be NEW freelancers shouldn't obsess so much impressions and clicks but focus on developing their skillset and quality of their gigs!! And, even make effort to understand what words like optimization or eye-catchy actually mean, for real.
  17. Have you read the program benefits page?? Has Fiverr mentioned or promised that it helps in getting more orders??
  18. People who ask other sellers to stay online are either 1) So-called Experts outside Fiverr with no selling history/track record on Fiverr, OR 2) New sellers who listen to them and tell each other to stay online!! Both shouldn't be trusted.
  19. Answer to your puzzle is hidden in this single statement. Former part of the statement is the analytical score provided by the algorithm, on the basis of inputs it received from private review and tone/frequency of communication on your order page while latter part is just a hypothesis/assumption!!
  20. There is NO bug - they simply fixed the stats because we asked but cancellations affect the gig performance independently and quite violently!! They were always impacting us but now at least we can see and we know.
  21. Besides what @catwriter mentioned - are you checking on phone app or laptop? Reviews and buyer level are not visible on phone app!!
  22. I have had similar instances a couple of times where the scope of work changed or turned out to be significantly MORE after buyer placed the order. I simply explained it to them and requested them to pay extra for the revised scope of work - BEFORE starting the work. Buyers understood the situation and accepted the 'request for extras'. Most buyers we come across on the platform are fair and honest and they understand that people here are doing their work with utmost sincerity and integrity. Explain it to buyer honestly instead of trying roundabout alternatives - which seem and sound unfair.
  23. I doubt if it matters how a buyer places the order - direct purchase or through a custom offer. For me, 80% of orders on the platform have been through custom orders and after enabling RTO last year, it is 100% through custom offers. It does not have any direct advantage but coupled with RTO - custom offers indirectly limit the chances of getting a cancellation (which surely impacts the gig score significantly).
