Just keep on praying for your gig to attract a potential buyer

Not sure if you're joking or not, but whilst prayer MAY help (everyone is free to believe what they want) I'd also suggest researching the compeitition and optimising your gigs as well.

We will just let the order auto-start and will keep extending the date until the project is complete.

    Sounds like a plan!

Just a friendly warning, I had a buyer that promised the same re extending, and then ghosted me after the second extension. Fortunately CS understood due to the messages we had exchanged and didn't let it impact me. People moan a lot about CS, but I think (99% of the time) they do get it right.

    Good luck!

@williambryan392, for those orders sitting in the requirements section, were they already paid for (and just pending order requirements)? Or did the buyer not pay yet?

For it to be in the requirements section it has to have been paid for (I'm pretty sure).

I assume they haven't paid yet or they would make some noise about cancellation. They were originally placed months ago.

I'm pretty certain the order is paid for pre-requirement section. It can only enter the requirements section once it has been paid for.

An order is paid for when the buyer purchases, or the subscription order kicks in and the buyer gets auto charged. The order then goes to the requirements section.

    How long can that be

I don’t know, perhaps forever. I currently have a subscription order that’s been sitting in the requirements section for 4 months. It is the 3rd and final subscription order though. This is definitely a question for your SM I think and I’d also love to know!

I’m confident the order doesn’t start until payment, and the subsequent order start dates move based on the previous order start date. However this is based on there being a payment delay.

If payment occurs normally then it will then sit in the requirements section, assuming requirements are tuned on. However I don’t know if the following monthly order will also automatically go to the requirements section on the original start date, or if it will be delayed until the previous order start date.

(I’m confused just writing this and would turn subscriptions off if it wasn’t for needing to embrace all features for fiverr to love me).

    1. Become level two seller

    2. Gaining more skill on SQL DBA, Data warehouse, Power BI, UX design, JS, nopCommerce and ASP.NET Core

    3. Become veteran in fiverr forum

    4. Building up 3- 5 permanent client

    5. Creating two new gig

These are great goals, thank you for sharing! I would suggest though that becoming a veteran on the forum not be high priority for you. You probably know this, but being active on the forum makes no difference to your success on Fiverr. All of your other goals will help you to be more successful, and make more $$$ on Fiverr!

    Good luck!!

  6. The cost of living is definitely getting more painful in the UK, my mum is terrified of her electricity bill which was already high and it will only get higher.

So, IMO, this will only get worse, far far worse (sorry to be a downer) but the quantitative easing (QE) that's been going on for 15 or so years, banks up to their old 'shenanigans' again and rising interest rates causing huge mortgage default rates will make the 2008 crash look like a picnic. In 2008 they had the QE / magic money printer to stave off disaster. That can't be used again to the same extent due to inflation and it's partly why we're in the position we are now.

As for the Ukraine / Russia war, I think if it escalates pretty much no one will be safe, that's the thing with nukes and a NATO response. I'm now back in Tbilisi, Georgia (I hopped around for the last few months (UK, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Albania)) and I don't feel unsafe in the slightest.

Sadly I think the next six months will get far worse before it gets better, but you've got to hope for the best and plan for the worst, and of course remember, it can always be worse! As Andy Bernard / Ed Helms said in the US office...

"I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them."

So, I've got a roof over my head, food in my fridge, clean water and a hot shower. My family and friends for the most part are safe and well. I'm grateful for that at least!

  7. Hello @aliwasir,

The gig marketing advice above is rubbish in my opinion..

I suggest you ignore it. That's why you pay Fiverr 20% commission, because, amongst other things, the clients come to you.

I have never done 'gig marketing' or 'social media marketing' for my gigs.

It can take days, weeks or months to get your first order.

You need to make sure your gigs are optimised.

I suggest you invest some time in reading the posts I linked in the topic below.

They are from very experienced sellers....

    Good luck!

This is not true and bad advice. Please stop telling people this.

Where did you hear / read this? Actually I don't care where you learned this but it is not true.

Please stop repeating this bad advice.

you need to be marketing your gig on social media like Instagram also LinkedIn those are best place for clints.

How many of your clients have come from social media @eva0592? Do you track this? This is one the reasons I'm happy to give Fiverr 20%, it's because they bring me clients, I don't need to go and find them. If you can find clients on social media, why do you bring them to Fiverr?

I have never posted my gigs on social media to find clients, and I bet most other established sellers haven't either.

My pleasure @web_munna45@donnovan86 is right, it won't come quickly, but if you put in the work you will make progress.

  10. To be blunt the above advice is not good advice.

Anyway, you can be successful on Fiverr, but you need to work hard to create that success.

Working hard is researching, learning, implementing and improving over time.

The below post has lots of links to other great posts.

If you want to be successful then invest the time by reading it, thinking about it and taking action:

  11. OK so I have some clarity....

The reason it reads 10th September is because the 2nd order was not started until the 10th August, so future monthly orders now start on the 10th.

As for why it hasn't started, CS didn't say explicitly, but they did say 'it is important that the buyer is able to be charged for their subscription order' so I'm thinking they couldn't charge the buyer.
