  1. I have 197 orders completed, and about 160 of them left a feedback. So you can say you have around %75 chance of getting a feedback. And rarley, some people dont leave feedback because they didint want to write anything negative. So there is that too. Its no biggie
  2. I recommend Dan Browns series if you havent read already. They are kinda action, mistery, crime and puzzle solving kinda stuff with references to the history of art and architecture. You know the movies of Da-Vinci's code. They allways kept me going. They dont look like its a continuation of the same stuff, but they are. So take a little look for which one to read first. Tess gerritsen has some good murder stuff Sorry if my examples may not mean anytihng to a bookworm, but i havent been reading actively lately. So i dont know the less-known stuff.
  3. Team Procreate here also! There is not much to say about it, its great. Fast and efficient. Easy to use and easy to learn But it lacks the photoshops capabilities and its online pressence. (with avalible brushes, courses and such)
  4. Do 20 pushups and squats after each "thanks" you received in the forums. Some of us can get pretty strong with that
  5. Hello and welcome. As far as i have experienced, majority of buyers only look at the gallery. Being said that; i think your gallery is weak. You should get more drawings into each piece. You have only 3 chance, and you have 3 drawings. - I recommend making a collage of 4-5 character drawings in each gallery picture would be better. Dont fill it up wil 15 characters. Make it still readable, but also show some diversity. - Each picture should have anime and manga drawings side by side. So you can show that you can do both. - Some of your drawings should be full body drawings. And some of them should be in more dynamic poses with legs and feet. Action poses and such. Those are anime characters, and they fly, they jump, they break buildings or shoot lasers. Include those kind of poses in your drawings. This has the most importance. - Fan arts are cool and all, but you should include original characters aswell. So you can show you have design capabilities too. - Include scenes with multiple characters. Show characters interracting with each other, fighting, talking, running. Some of the buyers will ask for series of drawings from you, you need them to see that you can tell a story within your drawings. Each gallery picture should be able to speak for itself. They shouldnt rely on each other. So each one should have dynamic poses, full body drawings, upper torso drawings. Dont show 1 character in the middle and rest is just flat color. Nobody needs to see flat color. https://www.fiverr.com/share/WdK2Rd This is link to my gig. Take a look to see what im tryng to explain. And dont forget to check the others aswell. Remember you are in a competition. And there are many anime-manga artists. You need to stand out. Push your limits and show your best work with the best possible presentation.

    Confused

A-Are you questioning the whole concept of life? In here fiverr forums? Do you need to speak to Confucius? You are late for that. Like 2500 years late. Just stay outside as much as possible. And talk to 10 people every day. That should do it.
  7. It happens. Sometimes you order a tea, and get a coffee. You dont have to make it personal. If you send back the coffee and ask for a tea, normally a tea should come. If not; Either you didint tell the seller that you wanted a tea, or they didint hear you. Or that place dont have tea. See, its not a big fuss when its coffee and tea. Right?
  8. I have started to practive boxing again and defeated malenia in elden ring! Thank you!
  9. Hello everyone. Its time to spend some money! YAY! I have couple questions for you fellow digital artists. I had used a standart pc and a wacom cintiq 13"hd in the past as my workstation. With photoshop 3 years ago, i switched to ipad pro with procreate. Which is i must say, very efficient! Touch screen makes it a lot faster and easier to zoom, pan and rotate kinda stuff while working on the canvas. Procreate is a great program to use too. But procreate and ipad has its limitations. While its great for small time digital media creation, it has its downsides when it comes to big canvases and organising large scale projects. Plus, against the photoshop, procreate is easier and faster, but photoshop is much much more comprehensive. There are more downloadables, more courses and better help when it comes to searching. Plus I had to turn down some very fun projects and lost my chance of being an online art teacher to classes, because i dont have a desktop or photoshop. I have couple of setups in my mind, of course they are all expensive, but well, it has to be done at some point. So i want to take your opinions. OPTION A: I would really like to use my ipad, because its great and fast with no errors and you dont have to remember to save your work every 2 minutes, its great. Is it possible to get an imac/macbook and use my ipad as a graphic tablet with its touch screen benefits? Can we connect those devices in a way that enables us to use photoshop with the utilities of the ipad touch screen? Or can we use procreate on an apple desktop/laptop? With the connection to the ipad OPTION B: I think i can get my hands on a good wacom or something similar, with a desktop or a laptop. Of course this might be more expensive because i dont have a pc or a graphic tablet besides ipad. What do you use as your workstation? Did you have any experience with procreate? Can you somehow mimic the touch screen with other graphic tablets? OR what do you want to use in the future with an expanded budget? Help me out with this one guys. Thank you
  10. I update my profile from time to time. Mostly the gallery because i offer people visuals. But besides the gallery pictures, i cant say if there is any considerable change in the order flow. I guess it doesnt matter at some point.
  11. Craziest thing about my hair now is that it still exists. Not a single piece missing! I think i got it from my father, which has this long white hair. Not like wizard, but like a biker troublemaker.
  12. I was already drawing for myself, it was just a hobby. And i was working as an architect for my dayjob. I wasnt even aware of the freelancing stuff like that. With a friends recommendation, i have joined fiverr, and some other similar platforms. That was 2.5 years ago. My first order came to me after 1 or 2 weeks, it was just couple of icons which was black and white, i needed to add some gold textures on it. That was it, that was the job. Since then i tried to increase the quality of my work. Took tons of online courses, watched a lot of videos. My free time was also my studyng and drawing time. (It still is) I must say i have done quite a job at improving my painting skills while working a day job. Pandemic also helped during this time, because i have shut myself from the outside work and i was studyng all the time without any distractions. Now this job provides much more money against what i have been making as an architect. Working with small/new gaming companies as lead design or art director. And its more fun for me too. Now the real game begins; Now i need to contune to improve myself so that i can become a full time character designer artist and leave the archtiecture and construction business for good. I know in 2-3 years i will be in a much different position career wise. To be honest i believe in my ambition. Taking a look at what i was drawing just 6 months earlier and comparing it to my todays work, Its a real progress..
  13. I will hunt you down untill you enjoy it properly! I think its mentioned already, but try Red Dead Redemption 2. It deserves a second mentioning. And if you own a playstation(I think its avalible for pc too) Try God of War too. Unlike the old ones just being hack&slash, this one is more slow paced action adventure. Like sekiro but Its Norse gods. New one will be coming out too. God of War is like the "Logan" movie of x-men. Really good, i really enjoyed it. Has difficulty adjustments too if you unlike the challange of souls series. AND i dont know why i didint mention before, please play Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. That is a great dark atmoshperic, puzzle solving action adventure, with some horror sprinkled in. New one will be coming too. Its about a nordic woman who has schizophrenia, involves viking lore and gods of old. Extremely good game with a unique idea. Definetly recommended. If you cant play it, watch some youtubers or something. That game was really inspirational for me. And if anyone is looking for goofy skeleton action, the old game(really old) "Medievil" is remastered. Its like a halloween movie. Really enjoyable.
  14. This cannot be right in every situation. I'll give you an example; I work as a concept artist for games and such. There are usually 3 categories you can choose as a concept artist. Character design, Environmental design, and assest design. I work characters, and getting good at it. People know why they want me, they know what to expect from me. If you have high goals and ambitions about your career as an artist, you should master something before branching out. Do not try to be best at everything you do, that will make you an avarage artist who does a lot of different work, who wants that? Who needs the avarage? That will not get you to a bright and succesfull future. If i need a logo designed, i would go to an artist who only designs logos, i would not go to some designer who also paints portraits. This may not be right in every situation. But it is present.
  15. Procreate! I dont even own a desktop computer or a laptop for 3 years, didint needed it for the most part. That ipad and procreate is just great. Pencil in right hand, ipad in the left. You can just zoom and rotate endlessly with ipad like its paper. No need to enter commands, no need to "ctrl + space + bla bla" Its just your fingers. Very fast and easy, just like paper. And the mobility of course. Unmatched. However utilities of a tablet is of course, limited.
  16. 1 - Allways take some courses online, improve yourself. Its too easy to find classes and courses, and mostly cheap or free too. 2 - Dont stay in the same place if you are the best designer there. Go somewhere else(figuratively) where you are not the best, and climb on the top via learning from others. 3 - Try to get away from your comfort zone, try some new art styles, new brushes, new templates. You dont have to master them, but it will improve your overall design quality to see different things. 4 - Dont be afraid to do mistakes, remember the bob ross lectures. 5 - Show your works to people who you think will be honest with their opinions. 6 - And for the painters, take a look at what you are drawing with a mirror. Seeing your piece horizontally rotated helps to see the mistakes. 7 - Find some music to inspire yourself while working. In my case, depending what im drawing, i will listen to the music to live the ambiance of the concept of the drawing. I guess what im tryng to say is; challange yourself, criticize yourself and improve yourself. Edit: I just realized that you asked for one. Well 😃
  17. I have felt that myself some time ago. Learned it the hard way in World of Warcraft. At some point you just realise you are no longer avalible for multiplayer combat 😄 People are using tons of extra stuff, different monitors, gaming keyboards and whatnot. After that Red Dead Redemption 2 saved me. I just enjoyed the story and watched it like a movie. Now im getting destroyed in elden ring. But its a better experience then getting destroyed by a 13 year olds. Those souls games are good if you appriciate art too. Not many games care about the scenery and presentation. Its like LOTR. You know each scene in the LOTR movies has the quality to be a wallpaper? Its the same in souls games. Every angle, every color, every door and room is carefully tought for players to have the best visual eperience too. Also good for inspiration for art purposes.
  18. For being gothic, bloodborne destroys all. It has some cosmic horror combined with victorian london. Amazing. AND! ı love taking notes during a complex gameplay. Its so engaging. For Elden ring, It makes it look like all the dark souls games were just a preperation for the elden ring. Definetly recommended. Amazing experience. Once you get into the souls games, there is no turning back believe me. Now with my age, everybody around me gets married or having children or deeply involving into their careers(that would be me), i cant find many people or time to play dnd. It is sad. My collage days were fun. I miss that.
  19. You have a good taste in games. However, i didint see Elden Ring there and i am unpleased. I have been working on a big project about vampires for 3-4 months. Its been really busy. I havent get a good sleep or didint workout in this time, so im looking forward it to be finished. And it will be finished next month. So i can just sink in to my couch play the elden ring untill i collapse. I recommend playing D&D regularly if possible. Very nice experience. Good to have some friends too.
  20. Here is something dark for you cutiepies. just to balance stuff out. Done with procreate for a vampire game soon to be published.
  21. And if they did, now they are not here anymore. Nobody is insulting anyone. But some people needs to understand that the questions they ask, are already answered and they should search for it beforehand. Nobody likes the same questions piling on top of each other in the forum. It makes it unusuable.
  22. You cant. It is very very very unlikely. Dont believe people who says "stay active on forum"
  23. Those are some bad advices man! You guys dont know anything at all. Listen here, i will be a little harsh. First of all, your english needs improvement. Get a friend with good english or learn it in 3 days like a miracle. Take your gig, remove everything you wrote. There are lots of mistakes, fix them! Second, i saw this in your gig. "Hello there, its a great day sir." WHAT is that? Do not use "sir" Are you tryng to push the female clients away? Do NOT use "sir, dear, maam" anywhere, anytime. DO NOT! Not in the buyers request, not here, nowhere! Not every culture respoonds everything well. Just say hello and be done with it. Oh boy, please improve your english. It is concerning. To be honest i have come to this topic to see what you wrote, just because title of the topic is so wrong in so many ways. You already have some nice 5 stars. Stay strong and confident, dont beg your clients for work. Dont just say "i am thankful, i will be great, i will do anything for you" These sentences are meaningless and will only tear you down. People still come here and say "stay online, share social media" under every topic like it would save the world. Sharing on social media means nothing! Who are you going to share it to? Does your father and little cousin needs to see your gig? If you have 10k followers, yeah share it. If not, its useless. I hope these help.
