  1. As @lloydsolutions said, you can't change your username. The only thing you can do is delete your account and start afresh. It's totally up to you @studiolo1 but let me say that I love your username. As studiolo means little study (the room) in Italian and it seems to fit your field of expertise 🙂
  2. Oh, well I'm NOT beating the heat, instead the heat is beating me. Can't stand hot, I feel like I'm fainting any minute... I'm trying to fight back like a hopeless knight with a wooden stick against an angry giant dragon. Can't stand hot, I feel like I'm fainting any minute... Anyway, I'm eating A LOT of fresh fruits like watermelon, drinking water very often, going for grocery at dusk - basically I'm living "What we do in the shadows" season 4.
  3. You - as a seller - DO NOT have to stay online
  4. So, what are you waiting for? Come here and let's grab a Margherita together. @katakaticais invited too 😄
  5. Could be, as pizza with onions and anchovies is a thing - at least in Napoli (Naples). Yeah, it still is very cheap compared to other Italian cities or abroad. Depending on where you are, you can pay a margherita between 1,50 euro (for a little one that's more like street food) to 4 or 5 euro for the classic round pizza. But, again, that hugely depends in which zone of the city you are. You had the cuoppo! So cool 😄 Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
  6. Well, well, well... I'm Italian, from Napoli. Pizza should be kinda sacred to me - and it is but I'll be kind with you and just ignore the "fruit on pizza" heresy. Just joking, put whatever you want on a pizza. But don't call it pizza. Joking again. You can have your pizza with strawberries, I'll have sushi with tomato sauce 😄 My favorite topping is the classic margherita with mozzarella but I also like the Diavola (I'm attaching its pic - it's made with salami, mozzarella and tomato sauce). I also like the deep fried pizza - it's called "pizza fritta" 😄 Craziest topping wasn't that crazy...I just had a pizza with Nutella, sorry I'm too Italian for anything else ahah I like my pizza with fluffy crust and a lot of basil - yummy&fresh!
  7. @vickieito that's what I was saying. Sorry if I implied there was an article about this topic written by smashradio. I was referring to his reply to my thread (https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/281780-can-you-ask-for-help/#comment-1778137).
  8. First of all, thanks for being here after your first attempt. It's delightful to see a meaningful content written by a new user. I signed up for the Forum in 2020, I suppose. Started to read different topics and threads, learnt from different users - many of them are still active, others left. I remember my first question ever. I was anxious because of a buyer who didn't leave a review. Well, some members correctly pointed out that I was being too pushy and my attitude was unprofessional. That was a great lesson to me - I keep it close to my heart. Nowadays I still browse the forum, mostly reacting to interesting topics. It's been a while since I reply daily or almost daily - I used to do it months ago - but I'm still up for interesting conversation and for learning. So, wrapping it up, here's what the forum taught me: to listen to advice and don't take comments too personally - people could seem rude but you should see things in perspective; to avoid scammers on Fiverr; to stop listening to bad advice and to have a critical thinking mindset; I'm still learning how to say "no" (thanks to smashradio and many others for the beautiful threads about this topic).
  9. Funny enough this goes along with my attitude of helping everybody else than me. I have a hard time saying "no" to people and this suck up a great amount of energy. I'm working on it - saying no and let others help me instead of saying yes to everything and denying help from others. So thanks for your comment, I can really relate and use your experience as a memento.
  10. I'd gladly turn them off. Getting rid of the ghost notification too would be very helpful!
  11. So, as the tag says I just wanna talk about something deeply related with our own psychology. I'm not a doctor, I just want to ask a question and give my opinion. I was struggling for years with the "simple" act of asking for help and accept it from my beloved ones. I couldn't ask for it, I felt I was showing my weakness. I had a memorable talk with a friend some time ago. She asked what if I broke my leg while hanging out with her. Could she pick me up and help me? I replied "No! I'll crawl!". That's an example of how devoted to my "no help" vision I was. It's something you'd see on this forum too. I barely asked questions or raised new threads to ask for advice. Instead I read a lot and tried to make things right by myself. Now things are getting better, so I'm here to ask everybody: are you able to ask for help and gracefully receive it?
  12. I took a look to your WordPress gig. Noted some discrepancy between what's stated in your profile, like that you're fluent in English and what you wrote here. Hopefully, you were just distracted and made some grammar mistakes. You won't lie about your skills, won't you? Anyway, here's what would make me think you wouldn't be a good fit for me as a buyer: You offer 24/7 support. Interesting, are you also able to sleep meanwhile? You offer unlimited revisions. This one is a juicy opportunity for scammers to rip you off. I'd get rid of it right away if I were in your shoes. 1 month of free support after the delivery. I don't think this is even permitted by the ToS as every order should be registered and paid through Fiverr. Zoom meeting. I don't know if this is a thing for your niche but not everybody is allowed to communicate though Zoom with their client. As far as I know, it's possibile with selected buyers. Hope this help. All the best!
  13. Never seen a parasol in Italy but I know it's used in Japan - thanks manga! I usually use an umbrella when it's raining and nothing under the Sun. But I've got a pretty fair and sensitive skin so I should protect it...
  14. @zeus777 I'm urging you to make a gig about sewing kimono as the world (me) need it! Anyway, I'm checking the thread from time to time, feeling ashamed of my contribution and scrolling in awe
  15. You know, I really tried and was brave enough to stand for 10 seconds. A couple of times. That makes plenty 20 seconds. Very brave, so viking
  16. I had to use the "congrats" emoji because this is so beautiful and yeah crazy, I couldn't stop myself. I mean, wow. Looks amazing and its hand-sewn! It'd took me years to do something like that. Be really proud of your skills and craziness too. Love it, love it, love it!
  17. Can't say I'm an artist, so I'm sharing just a couple of "things" I've created in the past months. The first one is a drawing on paper - as anyone can notice 🤣, the second is a drawing with ink pen on a little canvas. That's it. I loved every piece seen so far in this thread, keep going!
  18. A Christmas' present...

  19. Conga rats to you great brother! I can't see the feature, is this matter harmful to my gigs?
  20. Just found the vibe to reply to my first so-so review 😅

  21. This Forum is essential to learn from other freelancers - hopefully, the successful and skilled ones - and acquire knowledge. But keep in mind that the Forum will not lead orders to your account per se. If you'll add some tips learnt from others you can boost your possibilities to get orders but we're talking about possibilities, not certainty. Use the Forum wisely, following its rules and distinguishing gibberish from useful tips. A quick example: reading ten thousand times that staying online all day won't make this terrible advice true. Use your critical thinking: are they suggesting an easy and quick way to success? Have you ever acquired something in your life without an effort? No, right? Then the "best tips" the users are giving away are probably just gibberish. Here's a thread about debunked myths: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/215551-top-5-fiverr-myths-debunked/ The Forum is full of information. Read, participate with insightful replies and enjoy it while staying away from parroted nonsense.
  22. I can't wrap my mind to make just a single spreadsheet for important things and this guy's making them for nothing.
  23. Hi fiveroptic1! Recent Profile Visitors seems to be a new feature of this Forum, at last I don't remember it in the old one. Anyway, I believe the key lies in that "recent". So, the list goes back to 5-6 visitors of all time. As far as I know, there is no option to see all your visitors. Perhaps they will implement the option one day 🙂
  24. I was checking the score after months and now it seems accesible just for if you joined the "Seller Plus" program. Is it true or is it some kind of bug?
