  1. Quite understandable. The forum has grown, and a lot of it is just noise. I, @lloydsolutions, and @williambryan392 did get a forum promotion, though! https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/285933-please-welcome-our-new-mods
  2. Aw. Well, even if it was a brief pop-in, it's still good to briefly see you!
  3. Your statement is unclear, but for your question: Study historical examples of businesses that did what you seek to do. How did they surpass their competitors?
  4. As a new Seller, there's not much you can do but say "no", report the message, and block the profile. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/283253-beware-of-scams/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/202647-guide-how-to-avoid-bad-buyers-and-how-to-deal-with-them-if-you-cant/
  5. I'm linking this topic: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282840-👀what-does-freelancing-life-really-look-like/ --- Question: what school are you with?
  6. You got orders, but outsourced them? I just want to make sure you're using the right word here. Concerning your impressions, whenever you edit your gig, it will go through a verification. While that happens, it's removed from search. Are they both active in the back end? (Check here: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/selling-on-fiverr/gigs/gig-status) (I shortened your topic title a bit.) Edit: Also wanted to include this link - https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs?segment=seller
  7. Good place to start: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/
  8. Just because they haven't gotten a public review, doesn't mean they've never delivered an order.
  9. Would you elaborate on this, please? Do you mean 'to comply with Fiverr's rules/recommendations', or do you mean (as you've implied in your last topic) because the gigs are 'inactive'.
  10. Best place to start reading: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/
  11. Please stop posting new topics in the "Tips for Sellers" category. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/276328-please-read-this-before-posting-here/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/253722-community-standards-forum-rules-2021/
  12. If you are the envious type, report those other gigs. If you are the persevering type, then work yourself through the loss, take it as a lesson that Fiverr isn't perfect and is dynamic, and move on. --- I glanced at your profile, and I suspect that your gig in particular got in trouble because you were selling designs to designers. Fiverr wants Sellers to show their own work. By selling designs to designers, you were helping them falsify their skill. Those other gigs you showed? It's entirely possible that they have stricter policies about who they'll take as clients, and thus are fine to continue.
  13. I've edited my previous post, addressing that 'online' bit. As for how to work, I'm guessing all your orders this far have come through Buyers Requests? If so, then I understand your concern. There's a saying in English, "don't put all your eggs in one basket". So, 'don't make Fiverr you only source of income', is how to work. From what I've read, the Briefs you see are based on your gigs and how they're set up. Concerning levels, I don't know. Fiverr is dynamic, not static. Constantly changing and updating. As of this point in time, Briefs are not available to all sellers. I also don't know how many people see any given Brief. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/288127-using-brief-matching-process-effectively-teach-the-ai/ Jumping back to your gigs for a moment, I did take a moment to glance at your Fiverr profile, and do see some things that can be improved. You're welcome. From what I've read, it's 5 posts per day, based on a GMT midnight reset.
  14. Would you be willing to elaborate? What about the feature concerns you? (I know you have a limited number of posts left, as a new forum member, so the more detailed you can be per post, the better we can help.) Edit: found your other post addressing your concern. Firstly I hope that you've come across and read the topics that debunk the "stay online" falsehood. The Briefs feature is relatively new, and not fully understood. I've not read anything about time constraints yet, though. Humans, however, are very good at pattern recognition. Humans also like to complain. If there were a timing issue, I'm pretty sure it would have poped up here in the forums.
  15. If you mean consumer behavior, then that depends on market segments. There are a LOT of 'types' of consumers out there, and none fit in nice little boxes. That said, if you want to attract higher-end Buyers, then don't use gimmicks. (Plus, Fiverr already has a payment section in the ToS. There's already a stipulation for canceling orders that Sellers cannot fulfill, so there is zero need to include it in your gig. Fiverr's already covered that, and you've already signed Fiverr's contract.)
  16. Fiverr itself states: Source: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010949038-4-Things-to-Do-Before-Creating-Your-Gig?segment=seller
  17. Source: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010750318-Viewing-Gig-statistics Logically, videos won't affect impressions. Fiverr likes videos, because people like videos. It's one of the best way to show that you have the skills you claim. Anyone with a camera can hit record, but a good video is more personal. It demonstrates you put in a bit more thought, time, and effort, and that you are invested and willing to work. Not all gigs need video, but many would benefit from it.
  18. Depends on the context. Cite your source. "Active" is different from "reading, learning, and applying", but oft is abbreviated. It also depends on how you define "successful" and if that matches how those Sellers define it. As for 'technique', there is no singular one. I will, however, suggested starting here: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/ Edit: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." This applies to advice. If it sounds easy, it's either fake, oversimplified, or everyone is already doing it to the point it no longer works.
  19. Nope. Followers, in the forum, show nothing more than that someone clicked a button. There is no connection between the Fiverr forums and the main Fiverr platform. Proof: https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/261334-spam-trust-levels-and-topic-clean-up
  20. Just to let you know, following someone on the forums has no benefit.
  21. Not in any official capacity. I enjoy writing, though I'm too slow to do it for profit. I do appreciate the complement. As this is Mr. King DaMooch's topic though, I must pass on some of the praise, since his grandiose writing inspired that particular blurb I wrote.
  22. Then the problem is that the gigs are basically identical. Fiverr does NOT like duplicate gigs, and yours are indistinguishable. --- Side-note: please stop posting zero-content bumps on the forums.
  23. At a guess? Sorting by 'newest arrival'. Just keep reporting them.
  24. You have a flaw in your assumption. Fiverr states: Therefore, impressions do not and cannot come from external marketing. Source: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010750318-Viewing-Gig-statistics
