  1. You create the beats yourself, or are you reselling beats you've collected? The latter isn't permitted. Or, it might be the method of "access to my beats folder", as a host site. The links permitted in a gig are very limited. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360011421218-Gig-policies?segment=seller
  2. If you've already been flagged (warned directly by Fiverr), there's nothing to do. Don't take work that violates the ToS.
  3. Welcome to the forums. I would suggest starting here: https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278683-new-to-the-forum-welcome-here-are-5-tips-for-efficient-forum-use-–-how-to-make-the-forum-work-better-for-yourself-and-for-everyone/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/ --- On topic for your post, this is what I see when I look at your profile: The font size for the latter two is unreadable at the thumbnail size, and it is cut-off at the edge. Is that you in the image?
  4. That's... not really a goal. It's a desire and a dream (a beautiful dream at that), but unless you have and are executing a plan with measurable steps to achieve it, then... no, not a goal. (I still like your dream a lot, though. Very admirable.)
  5. My life goals are personal to me (and therefore, private), but I'm willing to at least share my pace for the 7 arenas of goal setting. Intellectual: ahead of life-goal, but admittedly slipping a bit in the short-term. Physical: Very behind. Spiritual: behind, but catching up. Family: making progress, but a tad behind. Social: on pace. (Introvert version.) Career: a bit stuck, but not slipping. (I have a day-job, and I'm thankful to have it.) Financially: ahead of goal short term, a bit behind long-term. Overall I'm in a bit of a complacent spot, and it's taking me being very deliberate and intentional to make progress. If you just need help knowing where to start for setting your own goals, this might help: https://www.ramseysolutions.com/personal-growth/smart-goal-setting
  6. Headline: Ever since the forum king mentioned it, Alg O. Rithm insists the 'O' stands for 'omnipotent', though scandalous records imply it actually stands for 'opaque'. (stay tuned) Headline: Confusion among mek-sel community rampages as Regulars react to top-tier help list with 🤣 (full story pg 3.14) Headline: Tommy averts accusations of altruistic assertion, adamantly announces appalled abjuration (more at 11 yesterday)
  7. Discobot has retired, capybara is missing. All hail: Alg O. Rithm (Please hold your applause. Conga rats allowed.)
  8. The other movie thread got bumped, so... I watched it too! Made me cry in a few spots (happy and sad tears). Cute, and heartbreaking, and funny, and very slice-of-life. Did you watch on disk? We did and the extra content included how the director team adapted and translated it from a Swedish book. I'm a proponent of "read the book before you watch the movie", but I sadly only know English. From what was presented in the disk extra, it seemed they were faithful to the spirit of the story, even if localization had to adapt for its target audience (me included!). "...and you are not stupid." -Otto --- Also recently watched Little Shop of Horrors, and other than being very impressed with the puppetry, I'd like my hour back, please.
  9. You need to remove your email address from your gig image, before you get in trouble.

  11. Play BotW before TotK, for sure. There are some quality-of-life improvements that were changed in TotK, that it might make it hard to go back to BotW, or to play them in reverse order.
  12. If you go with the Wikipedia definition of critique-partner as differs from beta-reader, then mostly, yes. I'll admit my 'training' isn't all-encompassing (a few classes in college, my major was business). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_reader#Differences_from_other_roles If you mean the exchange of documents, then no, since Fiverr is for selling services. Though, yes, I do have a slight weakness for the junk-food of the writing world (fanfic), and I have done exchanges in that arena. (I like to think my indulgence is more like the dessert at a restaurant, than a package of Oreos.) ^^;
  13. Playing on TV, synced with a classic-style controler. I've not tried the portable functionality the switch offers, so I don't have an opinion on which is better. I'll admit, I use my alarm clock app to help me put the game down. Breath of the Wild is really good, but it is indeed LONG, and sometimes difficult to find good player-rest points, as there's almost always more to do or discover. BotW and TotK are both very different from all (but one) of the other games in the series, inthat they are not required to be played linearly and/or that the puzzle-solving factor is greatly diminished. Some fans will debate these departure from "the Zelda formula", but most agree that the story and mechanics make the games count.
  14. Welp, my last 1.5 months have vanished. LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom was a BLAST! I'm still doing side quests (at a much slower pace), but I've beat the main story. The plot had some great twists, the new animations and enemies were great, the music fantastic, the characters very good, the references WHEE, and the aesthetics so, so fitting! About the only issue I have is with what this entry contributes (contradicts) to the overarching lore of the LoZ franchise (at least, what I understand of it). BUT, now that I've beat the game, I can go watch videos without worrying about major spoilers! And that includes fan theories on the new lore and how it does ir does not fit.
  15. I'd maybe 'get' it, if a potential Buyer were asking "are you a new Christian", as there is a LOT of deeper understanding that just wouldn't have been learned yet, IF the Buyer needed something that needed said knowledge. Pretty sure that goes for any culture, be it country, religion, sports, a school or community... example: gaming culture is a thing! Do you know the acronyms GDQ or TAS? But that also brings up the opposite, a Buyer who is avoiding "specific culture". If someone wants an unbias article on the Broncos vs Raiders rivalry, they might ask 'do you have a favorite NFL team' because the last guy they tried was a diehard Broncos fan and even if the Seller tried to be nutral, the bias worked its way in.
  16. Um, one thing has. I've been making an effort to make and keep the "Tips" categories clean. I'm not done, but most of the first few pages should mostly be actual good stuff. (Admittedly, there are some days I miss checking...)
  17. Hey, jumping over here to your topic, since my reply is a bit off-topic for that thread. Ooph, I didn't mean to come across that way. Letting the community know your thoughts is great, because 1) it let's us get to know you, 2) it lets us see a perspective we might not have considered, 3) we can help you if the 'thing' is something that's been brought up before by linking other resources (more voices on an issue, aka squeeky wheel gets the grease), 4) the community is sometimes faster than Fiverr Support if an issue is urgent, and 5) while Fiverr might not be listening, other regular users and members of the forum community are, and some of them do have connections.
  18. It's exceptionally rare for Fiverr to notify about anything. They don't even notify when the ToS is updated. I think the only consistent mass notification that is posted on the main Fiverr site, is scheduled maintenance, and only as a banner that shows on every page. There is a quarterly newsletter, though, that sometimes has hints, but they're usually too vague to infer anything.
  19. Hey, welcome to the Fiverr forums. There's a fair bit to address in your posts, but I wanted to provide an answer to at least a few things. The forum being a better UX than the main site is partially due to it being hosted externally. If you scroll to the foot of any page it says "Powered by Invision Community". So, basically, the forums aren't designed by Fiverr. As for Fiverr staff being present on the forums, there are a few who visit, but they mainly deal with flags and spam reports. Every once in a while there will be a thread open that specifically asks the community for feedback on a thing, which it the best time to have a chance to draw attention to an issue. They tend to pay more attention to topics with a LOT of community backing, but even then it's iffy. That said, imho, you do have some interesting points. We don't see many Buyer-only members on the forum, so it's nice to get insight that's not the same-old, same-old.
  20. Negative keywords? I know it's been asked for in the past, but I don't think they're available to all sellers. https://community.fiverr.com/search/?q="Negative keywords"&quick=1&updated_after=any&sortby=newest Edit: yeah, looks like only available to premium Seller Plus members.

Reporting and blocking is the correct step, so good job there. As for improvements, your gig description is a bit bare. Since you translate, it may be beneficial to include both languages. Gig image, same thing. Have you looked at other gigs in your category?

  25. What you are selling is your time and research ability, much like a virtual assistant. Even in school, you had to included citations, to show where your references came from, correct? While you are absolutely correct that you cannot sell the images, you can organize, categorize, and link them. (Be aware that not all countries can access all of the internet, though, so be alert to where you are pulling sources.)
