  1. I don't see any gigs on your profile...
  2. Topics merged, please read the forum rules. In answer to your question (formerly one ofvthe topic titles), it is NOT necessary to join the Fiverr forums. It can be helpful, if you're willing to read and learn. Where did you read or heard that it's necessary?
  3. There is no such thing as complete learning. I also dare say that graphic design is an even more competitive category (especially with the advent of AI generated art). Fiverr is a place where you offer services you can already do, not to learn how to do on someone else's time and coin.
  4. That's what profiles and portfolios are for. (Yours do not inspire confidence.)
  5. If you're that desperate for work, you should probably consider an offline job. Freelance work is sporadic and unreliable, especially when you are first getting started.
  6. If you don't cite the source, that's plagiarism. By not citing a source, you claim that you experienced what you wrote. A single glance at your Fiverr profile proves this false. This in turn makes you dishonorable and untrustworthy. At best, you're a parrot. At worst... Most Regulars on the forums dislike liars and thieves.

  9. Because Fiverr says 'no'. "Know your value Fiverr’s services start at $5. While it can be tempting to offer promotions or discounts to get your orders rolling in from the start, offering your work for free is not a recommended approach to connect with or entice potential buyers. Set your potential buyers' expectations and set the precedent that your work can’t be obtained for free. It’s essential to know your worth as a seller and not to compromise it to attempt to attract buyers." 10. Fiverr's ToS, Payment Terms section: "Each Gig you sell and successfully complete, accredits your account with revenue equal to 80% of the purchase amount." Source: https://www.fiverr.com/content/payments-terms-and-conditions (Yes, a tip counts as a purchase.)
  11. Once you've made a gig, there's a a toggle that will let you limit the number of orders in queue. That said, but the odds of you completely filling up your slots (via Fiverr) is pretty unlikely. Not due to your skill, but due to demand. If you did find yourself overbooked, what most sellers do, if they start getting too many orders, is raise their prices.
  12. I think the issue is that 'revision' isn't clearly defined. The Buyer thinks a rerecording should count as a revision. From what you've written, no, the work is not inside the scope of the original order. You said in the first post: "The requirement of the buyer was 'pretty much the same sort of tone as before'." If the tone has changed, then the scope has changed. (Aside from clarifying the definition of 'revision', then the other problem I see is that the scope wasn't particularly well-defined.) If a painter is hired to paint a house, then another, then another, and they have all been painted blue, then the tenth house painted the contracted suddenly says, 'that one was suppose to be green', the scope has changed. It doesn't matter that the work flow is identical.

  14. Bad idea. You'd be starting from nothing, rather than recovering. You said yourself: As for what you can do, Have you read any of the topics in the Tips For Sellers category here on the forums?
  15. For one thing, opening multiple tickets will only make it worse. Fiverr Support deals with a LOT of tickets, so you may have to wait a few days for them to get to yours.
  16. Um, that one was clearly labled as 'practice', using the image as a base reference, and even shows the starting pencil sketch. They're not claiming the original image is theirs and as far as I can tell, it's also not being sold.
  17. No need. Stolen is stolen, we here on the forums don't need proof. If you want to report that profile, though, you can absolutely link the proof in the report.
  18. If the potential Buyer only sent one message with a brief, they probaby moved on months ago. If you are absolutely, positively, without a doubt certain it was a potential Buyer, you could respond with something like: 'Following up on your inquiry, wondering if you're still interested in my service, though, since it has been so long this will be the only message I send you unkess I hear back from you." If you suspect it was spam, you could check the profile, to see if it still exists, and if not, simply mark as spam and move on. 19. ... Where's the oatmeal? Why is there honey? Why are there flys on it?
  20. Short answer: You can't. Longer answer: Have you seen how many competitors you have? Using math, it is statistically highly improbable for any given gig to be on the first page. If you are good at what you do, can prove it, and know how to prove it, then you have a shot. Fiverr states: "In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily." (Source)
  21. Which post? No one can help you if you don't share what you read. "Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily." Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs

  23. You mean the bookmarking list? I think you have to open the gig page again, so you can unselect the favorite. Not sure, though.
