  1. Have you communicated this to your Buyer? Even if it's just a technical glitch, it's a good idea to keep your Buyer informed, especially if you request an extension, so that they know why you are asking for more time. Plus, as long as you hold to the predetermined deadline, even if Fiverr's deadline is farther out, then the Buyer should be okay with the extension, if you stay in good communication with them. I've had to request an extension before, due to a storm in my area that threatened to take out power. It didn't, and I was able to deliver on time, but the extra just-in-case time was a simple precaution.

In addition to what was said above, playtesting usually means you're playing an incomplete game, which mean frustrating or unclear puzzles, bugs, glitches, poor controls, poor mechanics, repetitive placeholder graphics (if there are any graphics in the first place) and/or text and/or sound effects (if, again there are any in the first place), unclear instructions, inconsistent or contradictory instructions, etc. Another point to bring up, is that most playtesting for indy developers is VERY different than for larger studios. Indy devs are on tighter budgets, and aren't as likely to pay individuals. From what I've watched/read, open-ended feedback is the least sought after kind of playtesting that devs want. So, they're also unlikely to seek out individuals to play their games (with intent to pay) unless those persons already have established reputations for giving valuable, relevant, clear, actionable feedback. 'Possible' does not equate to 'likely'.

It's nice to see people who are actually looking to self-educate. Impressions and clicks only count if they are from the Fiverr.com platform. You cannot see impressions nor clicks from external sources. There used to be an additional statistic called 'views' that did track external-to-internal traffic, but that was removed long ago. It does not matter if they are signed in or not. If they visit the Fiverr platform, you might get an impression, since every gig page will show some of your other gigs if they scroll down enough. Actual conversions are more important than any of the other statistics, anyway. I'd be a bit cautious using this, though, as Buyers dislike playing twenty questions, just to get the thing they ordered, and (last I checked) Fiverr already includes three of their own questions in the requirements.

  12. Have you read the forum rules, so as to understand why you were issued the warning? The first time, yes, the warning points were removed, as it was an issue you were capable of fixing yourself. This time, prove that you know the rules first, and I'll consider remove the warning itself, but not the points.

  15. Checking in. Was sick (with what I'm pretty sure was Covid) twice this year, and both those months are rather hazy in my memory other than the 'bleh' feeling. I stopped drinking coffee the first time I caught ill, and found out I sleep way, way better when I'm not having a cup a day, so I never really resumed. Which is sad, because all the holiday flavors are out and they smell delicious, but I (shockingly) like sleep better than I like coffee. (I beseech the King to forgive this transgression, based on the number four. I'm not sure why 'four', when 42 is the answer, but his Highness seems to like the number a lot, since he repeats it regularly along with the numbers one, two, and three.) AI is here to stay, and even after a year I still have mixed thoughts. I've seen some incredibly good AI art, and I've seen incredibly bad. I can usually pick out AI writing, as long as it's longer than a sentence or two, but it's abused so much. I have not tried AI prompts for myself, and I don't plan to anytime soon. (I've always been a 'late adapter' type of the market segment.) Fiverr hasn't been my main source of income for more than two years, but I also have noticed fewer inquiries/orders. My day job has also seen noticeable decline, and the owner is close to retirement, so the business might not even exist this time next year. I don't particularly like the job, so I won't be upset if it vanishes. I've got decent savings, in case something happens. It's been a really rough year for some of the people close to me, but I've been mostly fine.

  17. Ha! This is the good kind of post the Tips for Sellers Category needs: I like seeing topics that hasn't been covered countless times already, AND you included a visual example! I'd actually started crafting a post like this right before Fiverr changed the recommended aspect ratio, but I'd still been researching/testing it and then the ratio was updated so my image became outdated.
  18. I glanced at your profile. Do you only translate text, or do you also translate speech? If you can translate audio, you might want to consider recording a few lines, that will show potential Buyers that you can actually speak the languages. AI is getting better, but it can't substitute yet. Show people that you are a better choice.

  21. If you have open orders, you need to either do the work as per the contract or cancel. You cannot change the order to charge a Buyer more unless they are asking for work that's beyond the scope of the contract.
  22. Reputation is a very rough estimate on how reputable a profile is. A higher reputation can imply that what that Member says is more likely to be trustworthy than a Member with a very low reputation. That said, you should still use caution and not overly rely on the number, as it can and has been gamified and thus cheated by some forum users. It is a bit more reliable than forum rank, though. Really the best way to tell if a user is reliable is to check their post history and read. Is the user consistent? Do they actually explain, or do they resort to copy/paste? Are the posts actually relevant to the thread/topic they're posted in? Do they actually address an issue or question? It's neither good nor bad. It just is. Is a pile of rocks good or bad? Completely depends on acquisition method and intended use.
  23. Are your requirements actually set to "required"? If not, then you need to fix that before this happens again. Were your requirements set, but the Buyer filled them in with non-answers? Use the method @smartdezigns provided. Also be sure to request an extension for time.
