  1. Welcome to the forums. I would suggest starting here: https://community.fiverr.com/forum_rules/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/278683-new-to-the-forum-welcome-here-are-5-tips-for-efficient-forum-use-–-how-to-make-the-forum-work-better-for-yourself-and-for-everyone/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/
  2. No one here can tell you what to sell, because no one here knows what you are good at.
  3. It might seem low in comparison to some, but that's a very, very small 'some'. I assure you, getting any orders, especially in a super-competitive category like shirt design (28,777 services available), is very good. Your niche is on the smaller side too (comparatively), both in supply and demand (sellers and buyers), so that you've gotten orders at all is fantastic. Could it be better? Yes, but that's why it's a good idea to have a presence on multiple freelancing platforms. As for your gigs, the samples are very tiny, and hard to see at thumbnail size, which is how people will first see them in the search results.
  4. I don't see any gigs on your profile.
  5. Quote: "In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily." Source: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs You're a marketer, according to your profile. Market yourself.
  6. The timing to the music is great, and most of the clips are better than many I've seen, but there are some that really clash. The following is just my opinion, and not necessarily indicative of what a real buyer might look for. The word 'typo' at the 0:05 mark is a weird choice for a sample, especially that font and animation with color changes. At 0:19, the choice of pivot point seems odd. At 0:30 the black text in white boxes feels amature, and the text size isn't consistent between the two boxes. At 0:53 it's way too dark, I had to watch it again to see that it wasn't just a black screen. The segment right after at 0:57 to 0:1:05, though the syncing is good, is too drawn out for just five words, without something else to look at. Please take this as constructive criticism. As I mentioned, the syncing through the whole thing is great. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/148025-level-1-hell-pass-the-test-new-sellers/
  7. Firstly, gig statistics only update once a day, at 0000-GMT. If you are editing your gigs around that time, i can see how you may have attributed a false correlation. In general, only edit your gigs when needed, as Fiverr removes them from search while any changes you made are verified. I noticed you took the Learn course, so thats a good start. Be aware, though, that it's a bit old, and Fiverr has changed a bit in layout. Your profile description is a bit long, I'd consider leaving out the schooling bits, as they're not related to the gig service you are offering. Fiverr has changed how gig pages look on desktop, with a Seller's profile description appearing before the gig. One of the highlighed words in your gig description is a typo, and I spotted another typo in one ofyour gig images. On the topic of highlighting sections of description, it looks rather tacky, especially since the images are mostly rather nice. --- By the way, welcome to the forums. 10. It might be a good idea to send one last message, something like: "This will be my last correspondence with you. It's clear that I'm not the right Seller for you and your ongoing project. I wish you the best in finding a Seller who can accommodate your schedule." Then block.
  11. If you want to know why Fiverr did a thing, you'll need to ask Fiverr. I have heard that a lot of profiles in hypercompetitive categories are being rejected, though I don't know how true that it.
  12. This is where new-work costs should have been discussed. (How much more work, how much will that cost the Buyer.) And here is where you should have started talk about 'change orders'. This should really have been a completely new order. It's a part of your job as a Seller to help the buyer understand what IS and what IS NOT a part of your service. Consumer education is hard, I know, but it's necessary, within reason. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/136314-the-power-of-saying-no/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/222069-stand-your-ground-setting-boundaries-as-a-seller/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/145429-the-art-of-saying-no-nicely/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/220973-top-5-tips-to-protect-yourself-from-badly-behaved-buyers/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/202647-guide-how-to-avoid-bad-buyers-and-how-to-deal-with-them-if-you-cant/ https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282412-what-to-do-if-a-buyer-asks-for-endless-revisons/
  13. There is a big difference between 'sustainable' and 'stable'. Freelancing can be sustainable, and the earned income can be enough to sustain an extremely proactive, hard-working and go-getter, skilled, adaptable, diversified, long-term planner, wise budgeter/saver. HOWEVER! Freelancing is incredibly unstable. If a person is not proactive about seeking out the next job, if they're lackadaisical or antipathetic, if they don't know what their doing, if they don't and/or can't identify opportunities/threats and adjust, if they are over reliant on one source of leads, if they cannot plan ahead more than a year, if they cannot save for lean seasons, then no: freelancing is not sustainable.
  14. Spikes happen. They usually don't last very long, so make the most of it while you can.
  15. I glanced at your profile page. The videos are better than many I've seen, but there is definite room for improvement. For example, I like the attempt at the radio tuning correlation to finetuning writing, but you've used it on two of your gigs, and one is targeted to college applicates. An old radio like that might not even be recognized by a good chunk of the youngest of your target market, meaning they completely miss the analogy, meaning they probably move on to other gigs. You also have to keep in mind how the gig images and videos will look at thumbnail size. Some of the text is plain too small to read.
  16. Whenever you edit your gigs, they go through a verification before reappearing in the search results. Sometimes this takes less than an hour, sometimes it can take a few days. Fiverr isn't like YouTube. It doesn't have live feedback, which is important for accurate AB testing. In general, edit your gig as often as needed, but as little as possible. Also, it's been observed that new sellers oft get a temporary boost when first starting out, but that boost doesn't last very long. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011028318-Managing-your-Gigs You can check here to see if the gigs are active on the backend: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/selling-on-fiverr/gigs/gig-status
  17. Studio gigs were discontinued completely... back in February, I think.
  18. Country of the Seller probably also plays a part. In the US, there's a clash between freedom of speech and civil rights. A logo falls under the category of art, and art is considered a form of speech. Quote: "Ensuring both freedom of speech and civil rights requires good-faith efforts at respect – and respect is a two-way street." 21. Sadly, a lot, and not just scam "Sellers", but also scam "Buyers". Plus there are both Buyers and Sellers who just plain don't know what they're doing, even if their intent isn't dubious. Fiverr has no barrier to entry, so anyone can sign up.

  24. If the user account doesn't exist, it's not Fiverr ending the conversation, it's Fiverr banning the user, most likely for spam or scam attempts, in which case they were never legitimate clients in the first place.
