  1. Well, I have some news.. at least it's news for me because I didn't know it until now. I talked with my success manager today and she said that Fiverr tracks the buyer satisfaction rate from 90 to 180 days. So if you're dealing with a slump, its origin might be months ago. I didn't know this, I thought Fiverr only tracks these things up to 90 days. Apparently not.
  2. I am sad to hear that. For me the private reviews seem to be the main issue. Try to say Hi to any message that seems spammy, and then just mark as Spam. It always works for me.
  3. I think April was the worst I ever had on Fiverr aside from the first couple of months of 2014 when I started. I talked with my success manager and she said my buyer satisfaction rate is low, but I really have no idea why honestly. The only order that might have a bad private review is one from last month when a person forced me to write about a topic and then left 3 stars, but other than that I just had a couple of orders without review, they just marked as complete. Although I asked them if everything was ok and most of them said yes, all good. So I highly doubt there would be a bad review there. I do have way less orders than usual so I can only assume that a bad review affects things more. And yes, that person was a first time buyer, the 3 star dude 🙂. So that might be the problem. I did have a good mid-April to the end of April, but ever since I had 3 cancellations (none my fault and all adjusted automatically or manually by customer support to not affect my ratings), things dropped. I highly doubt that it has to do just with the buyer satisfaction rate, the fact that things dropped right when I had 2 cancellations in less than a day (one was a self-cancellation from a person, and the other one was customer support canceling an order from 2018 that was still on the Earnings page). It's hard to know, but it's clear that situations are different for each person here. I never had such a massive slump during my entire lifespan on Fiverr. But if this shows me anything, it's that I need to make some changes to my gigs..
  4. The review does appear, you are not forced to offer a tip. They do encourage tipping quite a bit, true, however it was never mandatory, not will it be.
  5. This is in the Articles and Blog posts section too. They round up the word count but the strange thing is they just take into account 5 different word counts, when people use way more. So they round things up based on your gig price. Which is not exactly that accurate in the first place. I am not ok with this either, since not everyone wants 500 words, some people want 400, 700, 800 words, these word counts are very common. Hopefully they add more options.
  6. Don't use an auto refresher as you will get banned. As for how much time, just a few minutes normally, as far as I saw.
  7. It doesn't give you sales, if that's what you expect. It will just offer you more insights, tools, and the ability to talk with someone from Fiverr to receive advice. Will that bring more sales? Not really, especially if you're not new to Fiverr honestly.
  8. Well I send an email to my seller plus manager and she said my buyer satisfaction rate is lowered. I don't get why, because the past 2 weeks I had a lot of impressions and as soon as I had the cancellations it dropped significantly.. It is what it is I guess, the advice I got was to talk with previous clients so they can leave a review and to promote all my gigs..
  9. So there is a pattern, cancellations might hurt the account. I am almost 100% positive that there were no bad private reviews or anything (hard to know 100% obviously), but as soon as these cancellations started appearing, they really messed things up for me to the point I have way way less clicks and impressions, no messages or orders from new people. It's very sad to see this happen, especially when it's not our fault. I mean, how am I at fault that a person bought my gig thinking that it will pay them affiliate money? Or someone self-canceled without me even being involved? Or that an order (delivered by the way) was stuck in a loop and never ended up complete? I went to Fiverr support and they made sure my completion rate is not affected, but it's clear to me that something did happen to my account, and it started happening as soon as the last 2 cancellations took place. Even if Fiverr adjusted things, it seems multiple cancellations in a row will indeed hurt your account..
  10. That's the thing then. You have late deliveries and these slowdowns don't appear right away. It will take a bit for them to show their effect. I am in a similar situation, I had a week and a half or 2 weeks when things went back to normal and this week I didn't receive any new messages aside from spammers or people asking me for work. I've been here for 10 years almost and I've never had such issues.
  11. If you completed that, it's fine. I just modified some things in the pricing section and there was a checkmark showing everything is fine. They just want you to see they added new extras to pricing, so you can use those and earn more. I updated a couple of things but as I said, nothing significant there.
  12. That's why they have Pro, right? The truth is that not everyone is going to have a budget for very talented sellers and will always look for a deal. Plus, the platform itself was built on that same moniker, variety. I agree with the things you said, but I can't see Fiverr limiting people to just a few options. I agree a LOT of sellers shouldn't even be on the platform. But honestly that's the same for buyers. I am pushed back in search now because one dude ordered thinking he was paid, another one ordered and canceled right away, and Fiverr canceled an order that was 4 years old but that penalized me. And now due to those cancellations I am back in search without any orders or people contacting me. So yeah.. the system itself needs a revamp, 3 cancellations out of which none was my fault shouldn't have an impact on my account. Yet they do.
  13. I am reviving this for a bit, just to ask everyone how they are doing, if the sales slump is over or not. For me things are in a weird state, because for the past 2-3 weeks I started receiving orders and more messages, but also had some stupid cancellations. And by stupid I mean 1 self-cancellation, 1 person ordered thinking they will get paid and the last one was Fiverr canceling an old order from 2018 that was stuck in a loop, delivered of course, and I got penalized for that, it didn't even appear in my cancellations, but the mobile app showed I had one more cancellation than usual. So yeah, after 3 cancellations out of which none was my fault, I am back to having no orders and / or messages. I don't understand how cancellations that aren't really your fault can penalize an account so much. Hopefully things will get better.. Because this year it was excruciating to deal with these issues. Well I hope you guys are better.
  14. I don't get it why people try to cheat the system. You can earn on Fiverr simply by becoming an honest seller and doing great work. If you always try to find shortcuts, you won't get far.
  15. All you need to do is search Google and find a lot of courses..
  16. If I am to guess, most likely they were breaching Fiverr's terms of service and they were offering something not allowed on the platform.
  17. You realize that if tips were not taxed with the 20% fee, people would just manipulate the system, place a $5 order and the rest would be sent as a tip? It would be extremely bad for newcomers, and it would allow scam buyers yet another way to scam people. On top of that, no one requires you to leave a tip as a buyer, nor do sellers expect it.
  18. You report them. It's for Fiverr to know whether a person is a scammer or not, they are treated like a regular buyer/seller until people start reporting them. Say Hi, mark as spam and you'll be fine.
  19. She is asking for a video for her PROFILE. That's not available to every user, it depends on pricing and whether they offered you this feature.
  20. Switch to USD and you'll have fixed amounts there. Fiverr does its own conversion to give you that amount. Ideally you keep prices in USD. I just do that to avoid problems, I much prefer EUR instead of USD due to my location, but I still use USD to make things easier.
  21. That would be more expenses for Fiverr. Plus, most if not all online-conscious buyers and sellers already use an anti-malware tool. Also, if Fiverr's tool offers a false positive, then it would bring a lot of liability for them. I just don't see them doing this.
  22. Sure, but generally they will not bring any limitations. I can see a couple of categories limited to certain seller levels, but even then.. you can easily set a minimum pricepoint and also vet sellers beforehand instead of limiting the number of users within that category. That would make no sense.
  23. Why would they? More sellers means more sales and more profit. They will add limits like a minimum price or stuff like that, however they won't limit the amount of sellers. It just doesn't make any financial sense. Plus, you're limiting talent, maybe there are way more talented people wanting to reach the platform.
  24. Fact backed by what? Anyway, I am not here to argue about this, think whatever you want. But there are more important things to focus on rather than the position being the same for a few days or a week. At least for me anyway 🙂
