Well, a lot of people here just create a gig and forget about the website because they don’t get orders. They don’t promote themselves or just expect Fiverr to deliver orders. It might help sometimes, but the truth is that you can’t expect Fiverr to hand you orders. You need to do something for those orders yourself. So yes, installing the app, promoting yourself and so on, these are pivotal things to consider.

If you’re a serious seller, adding the app on your mobile phone is a must-have.

If you’re out of office, you can stop your gigs. Or you can have your phone nearby and reply once a day to messages. No one is forcing people to work on Fiverr, nor are they forced to communicate with anyone. But if you want to offer services here and reach success, you should at least reply once per day. I understand not everyone is a Fiverr full timer, but since you can reply at any time within 24 hours, even if you open up your inbox once per day you will be fine.

It might go back to where it was though. Or you just had a lot of luck.

I never give a 1-star review, however I had to do so today Had to give one today after dealing with a person that asked for a much faster delivery and a lot of extra work via revisions. I assumed they would do the same, and yes, they lied about me taking a month, saying they tipped me and so on. So yes, there are some buyers that lie or try to cheat the system to get more work. In that case, you need to give such a review.

Once again, I had people that ended up placing huge orders and I have to cancel them or they pressure me to deliver. We really need to get a hold of Fiverr, this is getting out of hand and we need to do something, we must have a way to turn this feature on/off quickly. It hurts us and the buyer experience, and it’s been suggested for years now…

QUESTION: I delivered an order but didn't got paid
donnovan86 replied to malenagv's question in Starter Questions
If the buyer marks it as complete and rates the order, then you get paid right away. -
The Tip feature needs to be rethought and completely optional.

If you want a tip so much, why not increase your price point to include the desired tip? -

Gig, Dropped Suddenly from 1st page to Last page
donnovan86 replied to jollywolly124's topic in Gig Advice
Or the gigs are just rotating and you don’t have to change anything. My gig was removed from search yesterday, now it’s back almost in the same place and I didn’t change it or anything.- 91 replies

Order accept / decline feature for the seller
donnovan86 replied to helloscoopz's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
Airbnb is not hotel management, just a way for someone like me or you to make some extra bucks. Fiverr is a marketplace for professionals to share their services online. You have to work here, it’s mostly active income, for Airbnb you don’t need any skill, you don’t have to work on anything, just offer the free space you have for $$. Not sure why you are comparing with Airbnb. Anyway, it’s my opinion and I for one I am sure Fiverr will never implement this as it would cause a lot of friction and wasted time on their side. The return will be minimal for them, but adding this would drive buyers away. They need to bring more buyers here, not to drive them away. An automated process would help but as @humanissocial said, the best thing they can do is to not have us sellers deal with penalties. Then again, if sellers see they don’t get penalized if they choose this option, that would make them abuse the system and say all orders they want to cancel are placed by mistake. I believe that’s why they removed the lack of penalty from mutual cancellations in the first place, to prevent abuse. So, I would say don’t expect any decline/accept feature anytime soon because it requires a lot of work and planning with pretty much negative returns. Again, my opinion, but I am 100% sure Fiverr will never do this as it doesn’t make any business sense. -
Order accept / decline feature for the seller
donnovan86 replied to helloscoopz's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
Well, with Airbnb you’re not actively working, it’s just a passive service, and you can screen your clients because they are coming to your home. Also, you’re not getting 40-50 orders per day like some people do on Fiverr. Among many other things -
Order accept / decline feature for the seller
donnovan86 replied to helloscoopz's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
Still, a lot of buyers don’t even care, they place orders randomly and that will lead to buyer friction and people leaving the platform. So I am 100% sure Fiverr would not allow that. -
Order accept / decline feature for the seller
donnovan86 replied to helloscoopz's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
While this sounds like a good idea, it would be a nightmare if you are the type of seller with a lot of orders. You will barely get any orders because people won’t wait for you to accept or decline an order if you’re sleeping for example. Most clients on Fiverr just want to share the order and then do their thing knowing you will get the job done. If they initiate the order and you decline that in 12 hours when you are back online, it would take days for a buyer to place an order and get the job done. -
My gig has 7000+ reviews and I had maybe 2-3 people that abused revisions. Revisions mean revising the article, not rewriting. If we were talking about unlimited rewrites then sure… I also have a revision policy stating what I revise, so again, that’s not really my issue. The issue is people using multiples wrongfully.
-
Yes, almost every week. I talked about this a few times on the forum. Obviously not as severe as the one I mentioned above, but people order 2x or 3x multiples quite often. Even regulars. It’s easier for them and cut costs, but at the end of the day if the orders are late, they blame me. So yes, blocking multiple packages can help a lot.
-
We need this feature right now. As a writer, I had a lot of cancellations due to this single reason, people ordering hundreds or thousands of words over my word count just because they can. We really need the ability to turn the multiples on or off, as it affects our business a lot. I was close to lose my level only due to this type of cancellations…

Just because you can’t see it that doesn’t mean it’s not in Search. Even I can’t see some of my gigs in search, but they are bringing in messages and some orders.
-
Then the gig is showing in the marketplace. Maybe customers don’t find the gig appealing enough or there might be some reason why people don’t buy it. But it’s clear people are seeing it. Whether they buy or not, that’s up to them.
-
It’s normal. I had my gig on the first page for 6 years and now it’s suddenly gone since the beginning of April. And I heard a lot of people had this issue. They are currently changing gig order, especially recently, and they do promote people with less gigs. So it’s normal by current standards. Also, check https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new/gig and then select gig doesn’t appear in search, you will be able to see if the gig is active and if it can be seen in search.

Do withdraw Fiverr money by using another man's paypal account?

I agree, most places have a way to open a bank account online or you can order a debit card and it arrives at your doorstep. -
Have You Used Fiverr Early Payout Option?
donnovan86 replied to clippin_expert's topic in My Fiverr Experience
I guess it makes sense for those that have large orders and want to withdraw right away. Those of us which have lower price points…let’s just say it’s not really worth it. Although some might still be interested, who knows.- 155 replies
