So many spams

Hi, everyone.

Today is my first day here in Fiverr and I really liked the platform. However, I’m getting a lot of spam messages. Any tips in how can I avoid this?

Unfortunately, these spams are unavoidable especially for newbie. Sometimes, Fiverr mark it as spam automatically,  but you can do it by yourself too.

Do not click on any suspicious link or download any file and when you get spam message, just simply Mark as spam or report and ignore. 🙂

I’ve just received my first real order here, but the person wants to negotiate and send the file for me to translate through e-mail. It happens a lot? Should I trust?

No, never do contact outside of Fiverr, it's forbiden, your account will be deleted.

Also, guide him and insist he shares the files on the order page using the attach button. Aviod communication out of the platform.

There is no reason to exchange files outside of Fiverr. You are able to exchange up to 2g of file size. The platform is very strict with taking business outside of Fiverr and your protections are gone and you risk your profile getting banned.  Buyers can be very tricky so stick to your rules! You may lose an order in the beginning, but you will gain many more in the future if you stand by the platform rules.
