Bye Bye Seller Plus

I joined Seller Plus for $19 a month thinking it would drive me a ton of business. I was hoping that with advanced analytics and keyword suggestions, I would make more money. Instead, after two refunds thanks to impossible to please buyers, I was no longer allowed to use Promoted Gigs, have only made $40 this month, and don't see the value in paying $19 anymore.

What good is 7-day clearance if you're not making sales?

What is your experience with Seller Plus? Did it work for you? Did it not?

Seller Plus hasn't increased my business, but I do like the perks, so that's why I keep it. I'm on the Premium plan.

I like the Seller Plus only forum, trying out new features (like Negative Keywords and Request to Order), giving product feedback to product managers, and having unlimited access to my Success Manager. Oh, and having funds on the same day the order closes is nice, too.

I was never given a Success Manager. You're lucky. What has your SM done for you?

One of the first things she did was go behind my back and demand that Customer Support pay me for a canceled order where the buyer disappeared and took my files.

I had one last deliverable that I couldn't deliver on the order, and since the buyer disappeared (and I was silly enough to give the other deliverables in the chats), I had to cancel. I was just planning on taking the hit financially, but my success manager thought otherwise.

A month later, I found over $100 in my account and received an email from Customer Support saying that my account was credited for the work that I did. When I told my success manager about it, she admitted she was behind the whole thing.

Don't understand how the buyer disappeared. If a buyer doesn't respond, I just click "deliver now" and deliver what I have.

Still, your SM is wonderful. That's certainly worth the $19 you're paying.

I do that if I have all my deliverables, but on this order, it would have been an incomplete delivery.

I had enough info for 2 deliverables (a cover letter and resume). The buyer wanted to see the first two before giving me all his requirements for the LinkedIn update. After I showed the first two deliverables, he disappeared and I was unable to deliver without the LinkedIn update (I couldn't find his LInkedIn profile by search).

Same, and as a business expense, it's a deductible, it's not a Netflix subscription, although the webinars are nice, and full of suspense, of course 😉

Maybe I'm wrong but OP says that pays 19$ for Seller Plus, that's the new tier that doesn't ok includes a success manager? I've been paying 29$ since Seller Plus came out and indeed it gave me the option to choose a SM when I subscribed.

Not anymore. When it just started it didn’t have any tiers and he could just choose his success manager to start with.
19$ was for the first 200 people who subscribed

@fastcopywriter What you are describing sounds like you were flagged by the algorithm as a poor seller.

Are your impressions almost non-existing?

If yes, you need to improve your Buyer Satisfaction Ratio to get back promoted gigs and bring back organic traffic to your gigs.

Try bringing in local clients or advertise on social media.

And as for seller plus, it has been so good for me that I cannot imagine working on Fiverr without it.

If you were not offered the option for a success manager, you may only have been eligible for the first tier of seller plus.

I think these days they have standard and premium.

My 2 Cents.

That's what I though from the mail they sent a couple of months ago about the changes in the program. I'll give it a look when I'm back on my PC.

Now I want to pay 19$ 🥸

Well I think the 200 spots filled within 1-2 days since the program launched. I was one of the 200 people and I am ok with the $19, even if I don't really work with the success manager. The features overall are ok and they are adding more..

You had to request it. When you subscribed you had to choose your success manager and then get in contact with them/schedule first call.

This - there was a list to choose from who all had their own areas of interest, and you had to click through to see their availability for a first call. I had to wait a little longer to book a meeting with an SM who specialises in my area but hopefully it'll be worth it (first meeting tomorrow!)

My impressions came crashing down after Promoted Gigs kicked me out. Ironically, after quitting SellerPlus, Promoted Gigs welcomed me back, and now my 512 in the past 7 days. This is still very little compared to the 3,000 impressions I used to get.

Thank you for your comment. Facebook won't allow me to advertise my gigs unless I use a landing page, I can't advertise directly to Fiverr dot com / my username.

As far as I know, promoted gigs kicks you out if your Buyer satisfaction rate falls below the standard!

The other event that you mention must be a coincidence. It is possible that the negative feedback that you received fell off your gig stats after its active period ran out and/or you received positive private feedback which may have raised your average.

Just an informed guess!

there is no option to choose or request. I am also looking for it from the day I subscribed seller plus.

It looks like you were only added to the first tier of Seller Plus (without the Success Manager). You'll be notified when you are eligible to upgrade to the Premium level (there is a limited number of Success Managers available right now). I believe the price is now $39/mo for the Premium plan.

I have been with the Premium Seller Plus Plan. I couldn't recommend it enough and here is why.

1 - You get information on Buyer Activity. This means you can see information on what type of reviews they leave other sellers, what their order completion rate is, how many orders they have had on Fiverr and etc. Why is this useful you may ask? This allows you to avoid bad clients. I sometimes get clients who message me and I can see that they have an average rating given to other sellers at for example 3 stars. This helps me determine that it would be best to avoid this client just in case they may leave me a bad rating, even though, I will deliver great customer service and work. Please keep in mind this varies and depends on the client, in some cases the first impression I get from the client is great so I would carry on with an order for them 🙂

2- Gig performance statistic. This is amazing as it allows me to see how well my gig is doing and the types of numbers I am getting. It also allows me to see how well my gig does if I perhaps adjust my gig a little bit. I can see if it improves my statistics or brings it down a bit allowing me to adjust it until it is stable and healthy. I can also see how well I am outperforming other sellers in terms of click-through rate and conversion rate. This allows me to plan on how I can improve this number. If I am getting 7,000 - 10,000 impressions a day, and my clicks aren't too high, I can look into how I could potentially bring my clicks up. This will reflect on my click-through rate which helps me determine if I did the right choice.

3- Success Manager. This has to be the best thing about Seller Plus. Having a mentor who can help you with any questions, or advice and can also help you in client/order disputes is great. I used to always contact Customer Support and it was great, however, the additional help in terms of order disputes not affecting your order completion rate and cancellations is a better experience for me. I always talk with my mentor every few weeks with a list of questions I have, my profile stats and if there were any drops in them. He's always there to help and I couldn't appreciate it enough!

4- 7 day withdrawals. This one is a no-brainer, you get your money quicker! 🙂

My conclusion, I highly recommend seller plus due to the additional perks and how it helps you become a better freelancer and seller on the platform due to the extra help, tools and statistics. The $29 a month is nothing compared to what it has to offer, great deal.

Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone on here!
