1 uk1000
You could report the message where they gave out contact details if you want, but some people have said that Fiverr took action against the wrong person when they did so that might be risky. And it could get the buyer in trouble when they may not have known it was against the rules. It might have been safer (in case Fiverr look at the conversation later and so the buyer would know) to have said something like "Sorry, all contact has to be on Fiverr according to Fiverr rules" straight after they gave the off site contact info or if they ask you to contact off site (and if you said "sorry I can't contact off Fiverr" or "can't contact outside of Fiverr" you might get flagged for saying "off Fiverr" or "outside of Fiverr"). You could still mention it (that all contact must be on Fiverr) even though it's not straight after his contact info message. For the "great reviews" I'm not sure what you should do. It might be best to just ignore it (if you mention reviews you may get in trouble eg. if Fiverr thought you were trying to influence reviews in some way). If something was seen as review manipulation that could get someone in trouble. You could ask CS about it. 0 romailshah
No, I wouldn't recommend you to go outside of Fiverr. Simply report the buyer message in which he is asking to go outside of Fiverr. And, you can send him a nice detailed message that it is not allowed to go outside of Fiverr as according to TOS you can get banned. Thank you!
0 mbamunna
Just do your work and deliver. Don't contact with him outside Fiverr. If you don't contact with him outside Fiverr. Then you're safe. But if you contact him and he get a proof then you're caught. He can report you and do the damage for your profile. 0 ashik_arifa
When a buyer sign up on fiverr they dont know that communication outside of fiverr is not allowed. So as a seller its your responsibility to educate your client. If any client give you any contact information never try to communicate outside the platform tell them that according to fiverr terms of use all the communication and transaction must go through fiverr. Also suggest them to download the fiverr app to get the message notification on time.
