Level one sellers are getting "promoted gig" option

I have came to know that many level one sellers are getting “promoted gig” option.
I have not get anything.
Do you know the reason?

It might still be in beta testing so they are hand selecting specific gigs to participate for now.

I heard that promoted Gig feature available only for specific categories and not available for everyone now.

So what will happen if someone drops in level. Will he/she lose the promoted gig option?
