Suggestion for interaction between seller and buyers

We desperately need a better chat system, maybe I was thinking something like Paper from Google. Lots of projects and gigs here are idea based, and a better system to see brainstorming, reference, ideas etc. on a more organized and more multimedia and links oriented system would be excellent. Google Paper is a good example. You can see images, links, bullets etc etc. on a single paper (or more!), in an organised and inspired way. However chat window (especially with older customers with more history), gets crowded easily.
