  1. At least they reimbursed you! But wow, crazy how some incidents like that could happen.
  2. Do you have clients outside Fiverr? You can try redirecting them to do business with you here. Getting sales initially will help your visibility in the search results. As buyers (most of the time) will tend to go to your competitors who have already several sales and good feedback. Other than that, here's a thread that can help you out I know you asked about specifics on your gig! Haha, I'll leave it to the others to look into that closer.
  3. Clients will be able to see you in the search results, its just that they may be choosing other sellers instead. I looked into your profile and saw your ave rating is 4.6? Now outside Fiverr that isn't actually a bad rating. Perhaps identify what needed to be improved in the projects that didn't get 5 stars and work on that. Its normal to not get 5 stars, but Fiverr will favor gigs (especially if your competitors are faring better) that have higher ratings, good public and private feedback. Anyway, this is a great thread to learn from. Check it out.
  4. Yes, but only through Customer Support. As long as you delivered as described, communicated well with the buyer there is nothing to worry about. There may be occasional problematic buyer or those who will do a chargeback, but that isn't too often. There are no guarantees but is likely after the 14 days have passed, that the buyer has no issues and you will then receive your amount.
  5. Yes. The buyer or even the seller can contact Customer Support to cancel the order. There's nothing to worry about if there were no problems with the order. There may some occasional scammy or problematic buyers though, but its not that often and its a rare case if you know how to vouch your clients properly.
  6. Yes a buyer can still get a refund but only through processing it with Customer Support. A buyer or seller will still be able to cancel the order while it is not yet marked complete. However, once an order is marked complete (or automatically marked complete) attempting to cancel it through the order page will just show a message telling you to contact Customer Support if you have issues with the order.
  7. Loving this thread, let's look back in December! My main goal this year on health and fitness. The past years I've been chasing career and financial success, and I've so far succeeded as to my yearly targets on that (but of course we dont rest on our laurels). But this year wanted to lock in on health and fitness. Not that my health is in a crisis or that I had a scare, I realized how nice it is to feel strong and have my health in order!!! I want to be able to benchpress and squat my bodyweight -- Halfway there, not sure if I can do this by December as strength gains for women are not as fast but I've definitely been improving quickly 🙂 And I want to be able to run a 10k under an hour -- Still working on my pace, I'm still at 35-40 mins for a 5k, with more training I'll be able to get to the pace I need 😄 Let's hit our goals 👊
  8. I haven't experienced something like this but I've definitely blocked spammy people in the message box (e.g. those soliciting how to get work, etc) I'm just curious -- How was this worded? This is the first time I'm hearing about someone receiving an e-mail and was aware of the person flagging. How do you know it was him/her who flagged you anyway? Probably they had a bad experience or you mention that could've violated Terms of Service? Other than that, Customer Support will have a more official answer.
  9. You know what, you might also want to assess your gigs and their quality. Its because you stopped getting sales, and understandably so. "I will writer such email copywriting which will generate 6 digits income for you" -- I'm not even a writer and I am sure I wouldn't buy this service based on the title alone I can only assume the 3 reviews you've gotten on that gig came from your friends. Buyer requests do show up, however, you'll only see it for a limited period as a new seller. It gets removed from view when 10 other offers by other no levels make an offer. So its a matter of being the first to make an offer.
  10. I know this might be out of topic but it randomly got me thinking on how do we analyze our news sources in general. (Not to question DailyMail on their article - I for one was entertained haha) https://my.lwv.org/california/torrance-area/article/how-reliable-your-news-source-understanding-media-bias-2022
  11. Is your Paypal Account verified?
  12. Buyer: "Hey I really like your profile. You have great reviews. How much can I get [long explanation of project] done?" Me: "It would cost XXX" Buyer: "What? XXX? I asked someone else earlier and he charges XX only. I only want to spend XX for this." Me: "I totally understand if you're working on a fixed budget. However, that is really the price I would quote for that project. There are a variety of sellers here on Fiverr, and I'm sure you'll be able to find someone that could work within your budget." Long story short, project with XX seller was a mess. Buyer came back to me and we got it done. He's now a repeat customer with lessons learned. In his words, "Why is it like the Wild Wild West out here? I have found my go to provider on certain fields here but I wish I knew better the first time. In the start, a lot of the outputs I've received were questionable" We both laugh about those experiences now 😂😂😂 To add: He quickly became Fiverr Select in a short period, like in less than 2 months after joining? So I could only imagine whatever trial and error he was doing. Hahaha
  13. The response rate is based on the past 60 days of you responding to messages. The more (new) messages you in a timely manner that will recover. What likely happened was that there was a message you missed on and you have not been responding as much new messages lately.
  14. Do you mean Whatsapp? Anyway, if you've read the Terms of Service it already tells you not to communicate outside of Fiverr. So the obvious answer here if you don't want to get banned is to only communicate within Fiverr. Tell them that's not allowed.
  15. But still considered work, don't you think? Anyway, maybe its time to update your gigs, a lot of forum users mentioned about Fiverr preferring you update your gigs once in a while.
  16. What? Why don't we just make it 24
  17. If you're saying this... Why am I understanding this as he has delivered and he did the work? Like I said, you can reject a delivery and the funds are not with the seller unless the order is marked complete. I asked what did Customer Support reply to your message when you reached out to them? They usually will cancel an order in favor of the buyer in cases similar to yours.
  18. How long is the duration of your project? Has this order been delivered? There are details that are missing here. Has this order been delivered, did you try to cancel it mid order, are you cancelling because he didn't reply to you? Or has he stopped replying to you at all once you placed the order -- and whats going on now is you initiated to cancel the order yet he declines such (but still no convo going on) What did Customer Support exactly say or respond as to your concern? It is. When you pay for a project, the funds never reach the seller until it is "marked completed" (which is in your control for 3 days after the seller delivers an order -- you can literally reject the delivery). Should the 3 days have passed it would be automatically marked complete. So only then will the seller have your funds. And even then there is a clearing period of 7-14 days before it reflects on the seller's account. Anyway, Customer Support would be able to cancel the order if the seller has not delivered anything and the delivery date has passed.
  19. Where did you hear these stories? I disagree. Anyone from any country that can make a Fiverr account can succeed here. Its the person and the skills, not the country they come from. Look at some of these top rated sellers from African countries in the category of logo design. https://www.fiverr.com/categories/graphics-design/creative-logo-design?source=drop_down_filters&ref=seller_location%3AKE%2CMA%2CNG%2CZA|seller_level%3Atop_rated_seller
  20. What, I thought you were informed of the super secret fan gathering scheduled May 1st, 3023. I admire his drive and vision!
  21. Hello to my niece (or nephew, but I swear I remembered it was niece but sorry if I get this wrong, please do not ban me from imaginary family gatherings) hahaha
  22. HAHAHA not sure why that is the photo appearing but anyway.... this is a good post
