Why don't you try it and see, @luna_eillish?
One of the things I like about Promoted Gigs is that you can turn it on and off at any time. If your gigs are well-optimized and your seller performance is doing well, you could see 10-15x return (or more) on your investment. So it can be a great way to get orders.
However, individual results vary and I've seen some sellers who haven't had much success with it. Either way, it doesn't hurt to try it out and see if it works for you!
  2. vickieito's post in I am confused if my promoted gig feature is working fine or not. was marked as the answer
    Hi @sabbirsakib1,
I think your daily budget is fine, but it looks like you have a custom CPC cap at $1.35 ....Fiverr recommends going with an unlimited CPC cap (which is set at $3). Currently you are getting out-bid by other sellers using the Promoted Gig feature. So you aren't getting a chance to be promoted. That's why you aren't spending much money - you aren't getting seen.
Another thing that affects your success in using the Promoted Gig feature is your title & tags and seller performance. So take a look at your title & tags to make sure they are targeted for your buyers and and make sure that you are consistently performing well as a seller.
This will help you to get the most out of your Promoted Gigs. From what I see on the forum, sellers who are doing well with Promoted Gigs are seeing a 10-15X return on investment.
  3. vickieito's post in In my niche Pro sellers have <10 reviews. Is it actually worth to go Pro? was marked as the answer
Hi @khafff, Since you are outperforming Pro sellers in your category, you don't need to compare yourself to them. "Pro Seller" doesn't mean that these sellers know how to earn money on this platform. It only shows that they are qualified to do the services that they offer.
You've proven yourself capable of doing well on this platform. They haven't. So for you, "Pro" would be a great move because it would only add to what you've already been doing. This is a great chance for you to increase your prices and exposure on the platform as you continue to deliver the quality services that buyers in your category are looking for.
  4. vickieito's post in I do stay online at night also in last these months. I earned only 00. Why didn't I receive the order? What do I have to do to get the order? was marked as the answer
Unfortunately these preachers are preaching this 24/7 on the forum! 😂
Really, do anything you can to get the orders. If you don't have orders, the worst thing you can do is "wait." Thus, this comment here:
The things you can do are here. It's good to think of this as a continuous process (one answer and one action aren't enough):
Follow the PDCA cycle (Plan - Do - Check - Adjust). Make a plan. Execute it. Check to see if it's working. Make any necessary adjustments. And repeat.
  5. vickieito's post in Are advertising in social media counted towards the impression count on the gig performance, or only on-site impressions? was marked as the answer
Hi @finndev478 - you are correct!
Sharing your gig link bypasses Fiverr's search (links go straight to your gigs), so any traffic you gain from your own promotions won't get counted towards your impressions.
Impressions are only related to buyers finding you using Fiverr's search function.
  6. vickieito's post in Deactivate my fiverr account was marked as the answer
Of course the gig impressions and clicks will be bad if you haven't been active for a while. They are based on your seller performance, and if you don't have any performance to show for, you won't be as high up in search.
Can you explain why you couldn't do that? Was it denied?
I don't see why you would need to deactivate an old account. I didn't use my account for 2.5 years and was able to get business just fine when I started to use it again. You already have reviews, so those will only help you. Include something in your bio that mentions that you are back in business, since your last delivery was 9 months ago.
Focus on getting orders, because getting more orders (with good deliveries and reviews) will help improve your visibility in search. Submit offers to the buyer requests and briefs that you get. Share your link with those you know who may need your services. Try to make your gigs attractive to your buyers so that they will click on your gig and place an order.
  7. vickieito's post in Can I Ask My Buyer for a GIG Favorite? was marked as the answer
@sraboni_web - Gig favorites have no impact on you, as a seller. It doesn't help you in any way. It is simply an organization tool for buyers to keep track of the gigs that they use or like. It doesn't increase your visibility in search or your impressions, clicks, or sales.
  8. vickieito's post in Not getting clicks was marked as the answer
Hi @hadia_ahsan, Welcome to the forum!
I don't think this has anything to do with you using the auto-refresh extension. I'm glad you stopped using it, because it's dishonest and unnecessary.
The reason why you aren't getting clicks is because clicks are only related to Fiverr search. If you are sharing your gig links, your friends aren't finding you in search...they're going directly to your gig. So you are getting increased traffic to your gig (just not through search).
So for your performance in search - How are your impressions? How many clicks are you getting?
  9. vickieito's post in Where can i find promoted gigs? I cant seem to find it anywhere. was marked as the answer
@denisecorp, the article that you were redirected to explains that Promoted Gigs is only offered to sellers who meet certain criteria and quality metrics. You'll know it's available to you because you should be able to find it from your dashboard (I don't know if you are on the old dashboard or the new dashboard). I'm still on the old dashboard, so it's a tab up top:

Once you click on that, you'll be shown all your gigs and will be able to see which gigs qualify for promotion.
  10. vickieito's post in Can you please let me know why I have not received the first order? Good impressions are coming but the first order is not comming was marked as the answer
@denisecorp is right, @emirx_x - it takes time and effort to build your business. It's especially hard when you are getting your first 10 orders. Too many new sellers think that all they need to do is open a gig and orders will start flowing in.
It's great that you are getting impressions because that means your gig is considered relevant in search when buyers search for your services. Fiverr is a matching service - higher impressions means you have higher relevancy in search. This is a combination of not just your title and tags, but your seller performance, response time and rate, and how you compare with other sellers in your category. If they are getting more orders than you, they will be considered more relevant.
Another important number is how many clicks you are getting. More clicks means that buyers who see your gig in search are interested in your services. Maybe it was the video you had up, your attractive thumbnail, or the price. For whatever reason, they were interested enough to "click" on your gig to check out your services.
If those clicks aren't turning into orders, then that means buyers are visiting your gig pages and are deciding not to place an order. Instead, they moved on to your competition. Your goal is to not let that happen! Do your market research so that you can connect with your customers and convince them to to order from you. When I was a new seller, often that was developing my portfolio and finding initial orders through Buyer Requests. More orders will make you more relevant in search, especially if you get good reviews.
  11. vickieito's post in Gig Advice was marked as the answer
Hi @fahadislamjuel, there's a tab called "Trending" that you can see the top-trending gigs on Fiverr:

However, even in the best-selling gigs on Fiverr, there will be a lot of sellers who aren't making money.  Instead, you should focus on skills that you are good at and can deliver quality work on.

  12. vickieito's post in How to inbox a buyer first, from buyer request was marked as the answer
As a seller, you can't. You have to wait until the buyer contacts you first.
Unless you specifically asked sellers to contact you in the Buyer Request, the sellers who directly messaged you are breaking Fiverr TOS by contacting your first. Even though this isn't allowed, they can contact you because you are also a seller (if you were only a buyer, they would not be able to do that). You can treat these sellers as spam and "report" them.
You are correct. They contacted you "as a buyer would but with no intention of buying." This is spam and should be reported.
I think you mean, "Can I inbox potential sellers first, as a buyer?"
Of course! That's how Fiverr is designed. Buyers can use the search function to find potential sellers that they want to work with. As a buyer, you can inbox sellers, even if you are a seller yourself. You should make it clear when you contact the seller that your intention is to buy their services.
  13. vickieito's post in After going to the buyer request tab in my Fiverr mobile app, I get an error like this. What is the reason? was marked as the answer
Check out this announcement by @frank_d - Fiverr is updating Buyer Requests:

  14. vickieito's post in Buyer placed an order with no requirements! was marked as the answer
The order won't start until the buyer fills out the requirements, so just wait until you hear back from the buyer.  It won't hurt you at all to have it sitting there.
I've reached out to Fiverr CS on some of these orders and they usually just tell me to wait until the buyer responds.
If a week has passed, reach out the buyer again. I'll usually periodically check on the buyer after that.
Sometimes I won't hear back from that type of buyer for weeks or months. But since they paid, whenever they come back, we just pick up where we left off.
