  1. He is a scammer. Report the messages to fiverr and ignore him.
  2. You will lose impressions or 2-3 days and then it will go back to normal. This is because the team has to manually review the gig once you make changes so it can be removed from the search results briefly. This is worth doing though if the price change will help your business in the long run. Just don't change your gig all the time
  3. You should change your settings so that the order doesn't start unless the requirements are completed first. You can cancel the order and explain it to customer service. I believe they have said in the past that if you cancel because you didn't have enough information to do the job, you can email them and explain and they will reverse any negative affect from the cancellation
  4. Nope! As soon as the first delivery is completed, you have technically unlimited time to send a revision. The timer no longer matters. It still counts down, but nothing happens and it doesn't affect your stats once it elapses. The only potential downside to not delivering a revision quickly is that the buyer might get impatient and after days, weeks, and months of not delivering the revision, they might decide to cancel the order, or leave a bad review, but your stats won't be affected outside of that.
  5. No, you should only make enough gigs that cover a range of services you can excel at. One amazing gig will get more sales and positive reviews than 20 mediocre gigs. For my first 500 orders I only had one gig. Even now (3000+ orders) I only have 4. That is not to say you can't have a lot, but if you have a lot they need to be high quality and different from each other.
  6. Learning to search through the forum is the best way to learn how to improve your gig, stats, orders, and become a good seller on Fiverr. Since the same questions are posted every single day and hundreds of people have spent hundreds of hours answering them. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/282146-how-to-be-successful-on-fiverr-common-questions-answered-and-a-collection-of-great-posts-that-helped-me-achieve-trs/#comment-1780494
  7. A buyer pays Fiverr for the job in advance. Fiverr holds the funds in escrow. Once the work is complete, you deliver the work to the client, who has 3 days to check it. After 3 days, or once they accept the order, the funds are released to you. Funds process for 2 weeks and then you can withdraw the money. If you fail to deliver the work, or do not meet the expected standards, the buyer can cancel and fiverr will give them their money back.
  8. Fiverr sellers have the option to create a custom offer. Once you have bought the initial gig for the recording, you get 3 days to review the delivery. At this point, if you are happy and what the commercial rights then and there, the seller can add an "add-on" to the order for the commercial rights. Alternatively, if you choose a month later, the seller can create a custom offer with JUST the commercial rights, without the cost of the recoridng itself. For example, if it was a very long script, and you paid $100 for the recording, and the voice actor charges $30 for the commercial rights, you would pay $100 in the first order, and then $30 for the add-on or for the subsequent custom order. You don't need to pay twice for the same gig. I hope that helps!
  9. I'm a voice actress, and I'm ok with selling commercial rights later on, as long as the initial voiceover isn't directly promoting a product or service and mentioning a brand name/website etc in the voiceover. For example, for a YouTube narration, animation, app recording, or video game character, I'm fine with adding the rights later on.
  10. Once you update your gig, it is temporarily removed from the search results as it is reviewed by the team. If you are updated it twice a week, you are taking it out of the search results way too much. Stop editing your gig, it should really be once a month max.
  11. Payment methods: Credit/Debit Card PayPal Apple Pay Google Pay Wire Transfer iDEAL GiroPay Sofort Boleto OXXO
  12. Buyer requests are being removed. It is replaced with a system called "Briefs", which are not something you can search like buyer requests. Briefs are automatically matched with suitable sellers, you don't browse them. So when you go onto the request page, you will only be able to post a request, not search them, since manual searching is being phased out and replaced with automated algorithm matching.

    My gig

Buyer requests are being phased out, so I wouldn't really bother with them right now, since they aren't going to be around much longer anyway. Instead, learn how to improve your gig offerings and SEO so you can get orders naturally.
  14. To be honest, this policy would work better if: 1. The seller has the option to approve or deny the extension. 2. Extended review time is a purchasable add on. 3. It can only be extended once, total, per order, with subsequent revision requests being subject to the standard 3 days. If changes are still needed after that time, it is fair and reasonable for this to be subject to a new order/extra cost. 4. Only buyers with extensive positive history on the site are given this option (just as sellers have perks for different levels), to avoid abuse of the system. 5. There is a mandatory maximum waiting time after the first delivery is complete that fiverr holds the money in escrow. After that point (arbitrary example, 31 days), the funds should be released for processing and Fiverr should take the liability if the buyer continues to delay accepting the order. Currently, it is unbalanced against sellers, which is already typically the case on the platform sadly. We have little recourse against harassment, rude clients, buyers abusing the revisions system, already deal with holidays increasing the review time for buyers (with no similar leniency being given to sellers during these periods, even if to avoid delivering late would mean delivering on christmas day) etc. I love Fiverr, I am so happy to get the opportunity to work here and the career it has helped me to really establish. But I don't really feel protected as a seller when it comes to a buyer vs seller situation, and this change has made me personally feel really uneasy in its current state.
  15. If sellers have worked with well known/established/famous clients both within Fiverr and outside of Fiverr in the past, they can show them in that list. It is just a list of a seller's high profile clients. This increases trust with buyers. Fiverr manually checks that you are not lying and did work with this brand.
  16. No, you just have to wait for Fiverr to verify it. One time, mine happened within 24 hours, another time, it took about a month.
  17. The "Fiverr Brownie points" is mostly the private feedback, based on my conversations with my seller success manager.
  18. Using or not using your coupons doesn't make a difference. What makes a difference is good SEO, attractive gig video and title (because that leads to more engagement, which leads to orders), successfully completing orders on time, and getting good public and private feedback from your buyers. The private feedback is the most important in my opinion.
  19. If you don't have a Paypal account, what email address is connected to paypal? I don't understand how it's even possible to use that option if you don't have a paypal account. You probbaly need to email customer support? Support@fiverr.com
  20. All edits can lower your impressions for a few days. You can't avoid that. But it recovers in a few days, as mentioned. So you shouldn't be scared to edit it every once in a while, since the changes might do even better than what it was before.
  21. Buyers can leave private feedback as well as public feedback. The private feedback is also a rating out of 5, but it can be different from the public feedback. I think the private feedback is what is most important. If you're getting less orders now, your private feedback score may not have been good.
