  1. As a children's book proofreader, I see that many of the artists on the platform use these template images and the books look very similar. Here are a few examples of such images. A different seller created each image. What happens is that with templates the characters in the images become static and seem to be continually in the same position. .
  2. I agree; too many words put buyers off. They want to be able to scan the content quickly.
  3. I think your niche is a bigger issue than using promoted gigs.
  4. I noticed that, too. I do not understand why Forum users like this need to repeat what has been said just before they post. It does not make them look very intelligent, does it? I read in one thread where a Fiverr staff person who is the Forum head honcho replied to a user's question with what must have been the correct answer, Yet for ten or more posts thereafter, the OP was given the opposite advice of what was the correct answer. 🤦🏻‍♀️
  5. Hmm, there are 8 days in a week in Greece. 🤔 Or do you do cardio and weights both one day a week? @damooch916, can I hire you to work out for me? Would I get in shape that way? I wish!
  6. I second that! My income is way down from 2022. I am still trying to navigate it. That's an understatement. We are an amazing duet! That sounds like my husband's experience on Facebook. I have lost count of how many times he has been in FB jail. Now they do not even bother. FB merely tells him what he says is not appropriate—according to their standards—and he continues on his merry way. I brought Hot Cocoa! Peppermint Schnapps is optional.
  7. Never ask a buyer why they gave you any rating. 😱 Some sellers have reported here on the Forum about getting warnings against their accounts merely because a buyer mistakenly gave a review that was less than intended. When the buyer asked Customer Service to correct the error, the seller got a warning even though the seller had not asked to change the review.
  8. I had a buyer for my beta reading gig who expected me to rewrite the parts I told him he needed to improve. When I told him that was not part of the gig, he did not reply, but shortly after that, my CSR decreased. Private reviews already affect the sellers considerably, and now we have an addition to the review system that can easily damage our accounts even more. I feel ill when I think about it.
  9. Create a gig package that is above $100.
  10. In the past sellers have posted on the Forum about getting warnings against their accounts for using Auto Refreshers.
  11. I tried Upwork for a few days and found that having to pay to contact the buyers was unappealing, too. So, I would rather pay Fiverr's 20% fee when I get work than pay to find work.
  12. Translation: Active in fiver forum will show active in fiver. True, but only if you are also logged into Fiverr's main platform at the same time. This is the complete translation of what @seven_sign said in your image above. Translation result If you are active in the forum/club while logged in to Fiver, your account/profile will be active on Fiver. So there will be no need to refresh frequently if the forum is active. If you are away on the forum, your fiver profile will show away after a certain period of time.
  13. Translation: If active in fiber forum/community will my account show active in market place?? @Lena, would you please speak to this question? I am not sure of the answer and I am curious to know.
  14. Welcome to the Fiverr Forum. May your freelancing journey be fruitful. ☺️
  15. I understand that reviews are important for sellers. However, as a buyer on Fiverr, I was reminded two times during the gig completion to leave a review and a tip. Besides those two reminders, I got two emails from Fiverr asking me to leave a review and a tip for the seller. So, if a buyer chooses not to leave a review, they must have a reason. Some are busy; some do not want others to know what they purchase or from whom they buy. Many buyers find it off-putting when sellers ask for reviews and will give a poor private review as a result. I never ask a buyer about leaving a review after the order is delivered. However, I remind them to leave a review in my delivery message.
  16. It is best to call clients by user names unless they share their first names with you. As a proofreader that is my job and it is what writers do too.
  17. Some buyers have posted on the Forum that they will never order from a seller who calls them "dear". I understand that the word "dear" is a standard greeting in your culture. However, in many cultures, it is not. It is best that you do not call people on the Forum or your clients "dear". It is very off-putting.
  18. Look I could add this image of my Christmas tree using the Fiverr app on my iPhone.
