  1. They should add a caption option for those that need. You could contact them about it. I also don’t see why they need the zoom if it can be done by messaging. People have said in this thread that you can email success manager so maybe you could discuss things through email instead of the zoom meetings.
  2. This is my description but it is showing illegal characters? Why? Check the previous suggestions in the thread eg. make sure there are no tab characters in it. If you pasted it from Word paste it into notepad or something that will remove any illegal characters.
  3. It could be because of the private ratings that buyers can give after a delivery, maybe one or more weren’t high enough. You could check the gig descriptions to see if there’s anything that could be improved there. Or maybe they’re just pausing your promotion now to allow other seller’s gigs in that category to be promoted for a while. Maybe it could be to do with your conversation rate - eg. messages you get compared to orders generated from them (eg. others in the category might have a higher figure for that).
  4. Maybe they could do a cheaper version of it (maybe around $10-$15 a month) where sellers could get some of the benefits of it but not all of them/not as high priority. eg. you could get benefits that could be more automated (eg. maybe the keywords/pricing recommendations could be more automated). Maybe with the lower priced version of it you’d get less interactions with the success manager or they’d reply after all their replies to those who bought the full seller plus version. Maybe the lower priced version wouldn’t be about priority access for things like Fiverr’s choice. Probably a lot more people would want to join if there was also a cheaper version of it.
  5. Your gig description gets cut off at the end (I don’t know if it’s anything to do with the amount of highlighting). Maybe completing that would help buyers.
  6. Your browser might be either zoomed in or your desktop resolution might be too low (if it’s zoomed in, zoom out to 100% size). If the desktop res is around 1920x1080 or higher it should be okay. If it’s none of those it might be because of the browser you’re using,. Chrome should be okay.
  7. Do you see a “more” menu at the top of the screen when you’re in selling mode (eg. if you’re viewing something like the dashboard)? If so, what options do you see if you click the “More” menu? What’s your desktop resolution? Are you using a browser like Chrome? You could attach a screenshot if that helps.
  8. It’s still “more->buyer requests” at the top of the browser page once you’re in seller mode. Make sure the browser isn’t zoomed in and that your resolution is at least around 1920x1080.
  9. Yes you’re right. I don’t think you can. Maybe use “programming & tech->support & IT” if that would be any better than the “other” subcategory.
  10. All your gigs seem to be in “programming & tech->other”, though if they’re about security shouldn’t they be in “programming & tech->Cybersecurity & Data Protection”? Gig “I will do any cyber security task for your organization” has the same gig description as “I will do security tasks for your organization”. Maybe make the gig descriptions unique. In one gig image you’ve spelt security incorrectly. 2 of your gigs might be too similar.
  11. You can ask them (contact CS), but if they see 2 accounts on the same device (eg. through cookies - though depending on how the browsers store the cookies, one might not see the others cookies) they’ll probably think you have 2 accounts and so might ban the accounts. If you want to be sure, ask CS otherwise I wouldn’t do it.
  12. There’s no direct way to give a partial refund. I think the recommended way to do it is to create a new custom offer for a new order (eg. half the price of the current one if you want to refund half) and then cancel the current order when that new order is made. Though it will affect your completion rate.
  13. Please, the feature work with you again after one month or two month I think it was after around a month that it had stopped working for me (impressions on the gig dashboard weren’t increasing despite high enough bid amounts), then after that impressions increased probably every day. Though there’s no history of it shown to be totally sure. They should show a graph of impressions like they do on the gigs page but on gigs dashboard so you can see impressions & clicks just for the ad promotions over time. Though you do get monthly emails with the total ad spend amount but that doesn’t show what the ad impressions were at certain dates/when they stopped (edit: they gave me an email with “recap of your promoted gigs activity” that has total impressions and clicks for November but they didn’t for December). Though the ad spend for December is a lot less than the one for November. I’m still using the Fiverr $10 gift for the promotion.
  14. This feature work with you now or not Yes impressions are increasing again a bit and some days clicks on the promoted gigs dashboard.
  15. I think there is a bug or maybe it’s intentional. Mine stopped promoting for many days then suddenly started again. It might also be because the bid wasn’t high enough, but I didn’t change that when it started again. Someone said on the forum that a gig can go not available to promote I think (though it didn’t say it wasn’t available to). Maybe it takes dashboard stats/recent orders/ratings into account. Maybe some subcategories have too many users promoting their gigs currently so it stops others promoting them there.
  16. You can still add some punctuation and a blank line if you wanted. eg. you’ve already added a comma and a full stop so that proves that they’re still allowed so you could add more of those where needed. You could also look at what other recent gigs are using punctuation-wise to see what’s allowed.
  17. There’s not much we can tell from that text as they’re all valid characters. It may not be including all the characters that were entered into the gig description or showing non-printable characters that are causing the issue. You’ve successfully posted gigs before. Have you done anything differently this time? Have you entered tab characters or other special characters that you didn’t previously? Or pasted stuff from Word or software? If so try cutting everything and pasting it as plain text. If that doesn’t work you could try cutting it and re-typing it from an empty text box.
  18. I’m not sure whether Linked-In lead generation is allowed. There have been other gig(s) offering that that have been removed. Maybe because of their user agreement.
  19. If the original delivery was on time it shouldn’t be counted as late in the stats shown on the analytics page It’s possible. Though you could reply to their review if they do (if you review the experience with the buyer).
  20. I consider all three metrics (means communication, service as described and recommendation) separately in calc if this is what you mean. I partially agree. It could let seller know how many orders are needed but those orders may come in a week or in a year or never. That´s why I think it does not make too much difference between knowing it or not. If you take the overall figure for those (eg. average them) I think that might give a more accurate rough figure. But what I meant was, if a seller asked the same question again and they had a lot of gigs with ratings and thousands of reviews, the only way I can see to give a totally accurate figure for the minimum additional 5 star reviews would be to press “more” a lot of times on the profile to be able to see all the actual ratings (which could take ages with many ratings). So I was wondering if you were basing it off something easier to calculate (but overall total based off those 3 overall avg figures might give a close enough result if it’s any better than just taking the seller average rating (1 figure - and the number of current rates), though I think it won’t be always be totally accurate).
  21. As others have already said, it is possible. I have created function to find it out for myself. And then I realized it was just a waste of time because the only thing that matters is to focus and deliver the next order as best as I can to deserve 5. It works.🙂 With your function do you need to press “more” enough times to see all the exact figures (or if it was based on the gigs I suppose it could be based on the the totals for each numbers of stars, but they’re shown rounded to whole numbers, whereas they could be eg. 3.7)? Or was it more a rough/approx calc like my first one above? Yes but knowing how many more could still give the seller more info/let them know roughly when it could get back to 5 (or when it could get back to 4.5 if that’s needed for sending offers to buyer requests). Maybe Fiverr could add an option to see how many more would be needed (the minimum if each new one was 5 stars) or maybe it could be done as a browser extension if that’s possible.
  22. For a rough calculation, based just on the current rating count (14) and current avg. rating (4.9) and assuming the total rating value is about 68.6 (14*4.9): With 14 additional 5 star ratings, avg rating would be 4.95 which, rounded to 1 decimal place is 5 stars (depending how it’s rounded). Or around 15 additional 5 star ratings should be enough (if they wouldn’t round 4.95 to 5). For more accuracy you could calculate the full total rating value (totalling the exact rating given by each buyer) and find the average with different numbers of additional 5 star ratings.
  23. I think it depends on the subcategory of your gig. If the gig is in “video editing” the fields are in minutes. If it’s in visual effects->compositing, “footage provided by the buyer” is in seconds (there is no running time field available but you can put in the package descriptions the running times).
  24. The help says you need to be at least level 2 or TRS, though one forum user who is level 1 but close to level 2 has the option. So you probably need to be either >= level 2 or at least level 1 and close to level 2.
