  1. It shows the Promoted Gigs option (where it is on the screen) in the video that is linked to from the first post.
  2. This probably isn’t going to work well for the average Pro gig (Pro verified service) either. Fiverr says: Fiverr Pros are hand-vetted for different subcategories but many or most Pro gigs seem to have less than 30 reviews (maybe especially the higher priced ones) so many wouldn’t be able to be promoted with this, despite them being hand-vetted/quality gigs according to Fiverr. Maybe they might make a different rule for Pro services or maybe Fiverr don’t want them promoted with this (eg. because Fiverr promote them enough in other places).
  3. Is it one of your active gigs? Are you sure it’s in one of the subcategories they allow promoted gigs for? eg. in the “Video & Animation” category they only allow promoted gigs for the “Whiteboard & Animated Explainers” subcategory, not the “Character Animation” subcategory currently. Also if your gigs are okay re: the requirements, another reason you might not be able to see it is because sellers are manually picked for it currently according to the help page (it says “only hand-vetted sellers who meet all our quality metrics…”).
  4. Maybe it will be mostly TRS who win the top positions in the searches/categories with promoted gigs as they will probably have the higher priced gigs on average (so they might lose less per sale on average if they promoted their gigs compared to a level 2 seller with a lower price gig). Maybe also Fiverr Pros with a level 2 or TRS level (or mostly Fiverr Pros who are TRS, depending on the number of them in the subcategory). Though Pro gigs are already promoted more than other gigs.
  5. Only certain categories can be promoted currently, by those who are eligibble. See the link below for the list of categories: https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/what-gigs-can-be-promoted
  6. I think it’s not about what gigs or sellers need, the idea is to promote proven gigs that would be appealing to buyers. But if it’s not for what sellers need (or want) why would they pay extra for these promoted gigs? If it’s to make things more appealing for buyers in general that’s something Fiverr could do with the search results by themselves. It’s like why would someone do a book promotion if they needed many reviews of the book already? They do book promotion to start the sales off and get the reviews really. So Fiverr requiring a minimum of 30 reviews for a gig to be promoted doesn’t seem the best thing to do really. I might want the promotion to start a new-ish gig off, to start getting sales on it (assuming I was one of the people who had this feature).
  7. I thought it was only for sellers who are level 2 and above (and only hand-picked ones out of those) and so those with lower levels won’t currently see it anywhere. Though it seems like it’s not the current dashboard - it’s a different dashboard to manage your ads I think (ie. the Promoted Gigs Dashboard). edit: It seems like an option would show at the top of the normal Fiverr screen (like when you’ve clicked dashboard or something similar) for “Promoted Gigs” in-between “Analytics” and “Earnings” (based on the video).
  8. They’re hand-picked currently so that could be why (I’m not sure why they really need to be though). Out of level 2 sellers and TRS (though I assume it’s mostly TRS who have the feature currently). Also I don’t really understand why it says it’s only for gigs with at least 30 reviews. Surely gigs with less than 30 reviews would need promotion a lot more than those with more reviews? Maybe one day they might make it available to levels 1 and under too, as well as make it an automatic thing rather than a manual selection of sellers.
  9. It could depend on the gig type. If a service needs a particular amount of time (such as SEO or the spell gigs needing more than others were you can see the results as soon as possible) they should allow the reviews to be allowed to be created in that amount of time (or + 1 to 3 days maybe, depending on whether it’s a working day).
  10. This poll is to see what percentage of forum users are buyers, sellers or those who have bought and sold on Fiverr. ie. since joining Fiverr have you bought only, sold only (or have gigs only but not bought), or bought and sold. On Fiverr, which are you? Buyer onlySeller onlyBuyer & Seller0voters
  11. Though it might be easier to become millionaires by selling expensive gigs, like >$900 each (though only Fiverr Pros/studios can generally sell >=$1000 without a custom offer). And the most expensive gigs probably aren’t 15 minute cookie-cutter gigs. Though it’s probably worth trying the 15 minute cookie cutter ones. Though the seller would need to make sure they were that, and that buyers would buy them (that there wouldn’t be too much competition) and that they wouldn’t ask for things in them that would make them too different/go over the 15 min or so mark (ie. make the right sort of gigs for that).
  12. One type of service, though if you look at TRS, it’s seems rare for them to have just 1 gig. TRS seem to have quite a few active gigs (maybe around 8 average?).
  13. The first 10 thing is about unleveled sellers and requests being removed from the list shown to unleveled sellers when there are a certain number of offers (possibly 10 but that’s not been confirmed by CS) sent by unleveled sellers. It doesn’t happen like that if you’re a level 1 seller I think that’s why you should see a lot more requests when you’re level 1. Maybe people who’ve posted a recent buyer request (not an offer) can say the actual number of offers sent from unleveled sellers for it (so we can see what the maximum is).
  14. You’ve written “Inside.To”. It probably thinks that’s the name of a website / URL because there’s no space after the full stop/period. Add a space after the full stop and it should be okay. Just in case, you could also add a space after “words.” (where it says “words.Writing”). But that’s probably not it.
  15. If it’s stuck on the Personal Info page as well as making sure you enter at least 150 chars, make sure you don’t go over the 600 char max. Check you’re doing everything the screen says. Are you using Chrome? Have you tried following what it says in this link, including checking the video: https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/creating-your-seller-profile If none of the above help, do you have a screenshot showing the page that isn’t continuing?
  16. The order ID is on the order page. You can copy it from there and enter it into the support ticket. If the question isn’t about an order you can leave it blank.
  17. Did the seller’s gig say source files would be included? eg. .psd or other format? If so, if they’re not shown on the order page in the delivered section (maybe refresh the page to double check?), send the seller a message asking for them. Give the seller time to respond (a day or 2) and if they still won’t send them and the gig/package says they are included you could contact support about it. Not all gigs/packages include the source files though. It will depend on what it says in the gig/package description.
  18. Maybe there are some countries where it’s not allowed (eg. for legal reasons), for them to do business on Fiverr (like sanctions)? If so, and if IP addresses known to be from those countries are disallowed on Fiverr (impossible to create/use accounts with them), that would make it impossible to have a world domination of 100% on the analytics page if that page includes all countries.
  19. Surely some of those were from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?
  20. Another way is: Right click on the analytics page, then select “view page source”, click on Ctrl F to find and enter “world_domination” in the search box (without the double quotes). All the stats should be shown in a line there (number of orders next to each country code). 🙂
  21. It does that for me too. For me it shows it if the mouse is positioned carefully right at the left edge of my country, slightly past the left bit of the map pin. Try moving the mouse very slowly around that area. edit: It also shows anywhere on the bottom edge of my country but not if the pointer is on the other places like the middle of the country.
  22. For me (all time stats), it’s: 1st USA (by far - about 57.5%) 2nd UK 3rd Germany
  23. But surely your way would not stop them creating a new account/username just like reporting/pressing the spam button wouldn’t. Though it might not be that easy or there’d be much more spam from the same people with different accounts (things like the payment provider having to be unique and probably Fiverr checking IP addresses etc. might make it harder for them to create new accounts). Because you could block/report them just as fast if you wanted and only you’d know they were reported by you (if you did). It would also stop lots of scammers getting angry at you. It also would stop the message about your message being flagged for possible TOS violation and having to wait for it to be checked - if Fiverr accidentally thought that it was in violation / hit the wrong button maybe it could risk a warning.
  24. Do you really want all the scammers to receive the exact message you send to Fiverr CS/the Trust & Safety team? Surely you could just give a message saying something like “sorry I can’t do that as it would be against the terms of service” or “Sorry all contact has to be on Fiverr” or “Could you describe what is required on Fiverr…” (eg. if they just give a link). Then you could click the report/spam button the message if/when you wanted and the scammer wouldn’t know the message sent to Fiverr or if you actually had reported them.
  25. No I haven’t (or any so far). Also, if it’s a re-seller I wouldn’t know whether they’d want the review on their profile at all (since it would then show to their buyers/potential buyers). Giving a bad review to them could obviously make them unhappy about it. It might be better not to post a negative review of the buyer at all (especially based on what one seller said they experienced).
