  1. Most likely. But seeing the trajectory of their latest changes, I expect this to be implemented soon. I will say this.. you won't find a lot of people with 5.0 gig scores, from what I browsed.
  2. Honestly, I checked multiple categories and most of them don't really have a 5 star review on the first page, unless that gig has under 50-100 reviews. But older gigs.. bye bye 5.0 ratings 😄
  3. I see. It still shows to me. So it's most likely an experiment. Still.. considering Fiverr's direction and their recent changes, I can definitely see this becoming a thing after mid-March. They did say the new rating and level system are modified in iterations so.. this might be the final change. I found this while checking my main gig and seeing that it doesn't have 5.0 anymore, instead it had 4.95. Not a huge dip or anything, but I was curious and checked a multitude of other gigs, and they all had decimals. That's why I shared a screenshot.
  4. And by the way, for those wondering, this appears in Google Chrome for now, at least for me. Other browsers still show the previous gig average. However, it's clear that this system is implemented and my assumption is that it will most likely be what we will see starting with March 15th. So if you want to see your new gig scores, just paste your gig's link in Chrome. For me, the system seems to heavily penalize older gigs, because newer gigs have a higher chance of getting that 5.0 score. From what I checked, the majority of people have 4.95 or under, at least those with hundreds or thousands of reviews.
  5. I was browsing Fiverr today as usual, and I quickly realized that Fiverr has dropped ratings across the board for all gigs. You will rarely see gigs that have 5 star, as you can see from the image below, we now have things like 4.95, 4.88 and so on. I am sure it's an experiment and it didn't show in all browsers I tried. But it's clear they are implementing it soon. And it's also clear that the review system is here to stay, since it definitely helped Fiverr have wayyyy less 5 star reviews. In fact, from the dozens of gigs I checked, only those with under 100 reviews were still able to keep 5 stars. Thoughts?

  7. Clearly they won't, since they are doubling down on it. The new public score calculation incorporates historical private feedback, aiming to reflect client feedback more holistically and enhance the reliability of ratings as a decision-making tool. - now I can only imagine how many topics/posts we will have on the forum saying they had perfect reviews and yet their success score is low. At least we can point them to Kesha's post. @Kesha, is this change already made, buyers can already see the modified rating system? Or will it appear starting with March 15th?

Are you sure that's for the affiliate program? https://www.fiverr.com/partnerships/affiliates because from what I see here, they give you 25% of first order A CPA of 25% for the initial purchase amount and 10% of future orders A 10% revenue share of each purchase the buyers make in the next 12 months. I think you are talking about this. https://www.fiverr.com/referral_program, which only gives you Fiverr credits. But you can become an affiliate, share your affiliate link and you won't get paid in credits. Do read the terms of service for affiliates, just to be safe.
  9. I think you can get a comission via Fiverr too, don't they have an affiliate program? You send that person an affiliate link to purchase your gig, and you get a comission.
  10. Are you sure you entered Fiverr.com? Because the link in your browser seems to suggest other website. There is a scam link running around similar to what you have, which encourages people to share their personal info like bank info. Don't continue to be safe. Just enter Fiverr via its regular link, https://www.fiverr.com/.
  11. Why was it flagged? Fiverr normally sends an email or notifies you with the reason why you were flagged in the first place.
  12. They obviously have template replies for specific questions, and this was definitely one of them. I think the grace period should be much longer, since it's very difficult to change that score. If they would keep the 2-month period like they did until now, it shouldn't be that much of an issue. But when the score covers your entire account's activity and you had tons of orders for example.. it will take a looooong time to recover if you're hit by some bad reviews. Personally, I think it's a double-edged sword. They do encourage you to increase prices to avoid those bad buyers, then again if you overcharge, you get hit with a lower value for money score. They have to tell us at least what timeline are they covering, what reviews are considered "most recent", are those from the past 2 months, 6 months, past year? I understand why they hide some information, but this is definitely something Fiverr needs to be more transparent about.
  13. I am pretty sure they removed it. And instead it's just a part of the success score. They are showing things like cancellations having a negative impact, if you have too many. So it might be gone and instead it's just in the success score.

  15. Since it's platform-wide and a lot of people complain, I think they might have extended the timeline on which they count reviews for the success score. Instead of reviews from the previous 6 months being more important, maybe they extended that to the last year. It could be a thing, and it would explain why there are so many people complaining about the success score changing overnight.
  16. It depends on the buyer, obviously. Some buyers will not question the value for money and rate everything 5 stars. Others will also check every box, which sometimes might lower your score. And there are also those that randomly press stars to get it over with. Aside from a few minor exceptions, I've had a similar experience to you guys.
  17. Yeah.. I wish they would actually say what's ok and what is not ok revision and extension-wise. Instead of leaving things for AI to judge....

Hmm, so they know if a person replies with a revision saying all good :)) Well, I can only assume they penalize people when there are many revisions, and if the order takes a long time to complete. But if it's just a revision or two at most, I don't think it should/will affect sellers. I had a few revisions last week, very minor stuff, one was a bit more extensive and I needed a few days, but as far as I can see it didn't affect my score.

  20. I mean, it's not like Fiverr lacks sellers. So I think they just want to avoid having almost every active seller that has been here for a while with 5 stars. We'll see, I am not as heavily impacted as other people with success scores that shift often, but then again I had a lot of orders over the years, so I am pretty sure my current success score will stay the same for a while unless they make significant changes on how they calculate things. I am not sure if I said this here or as a reply to someone else. Buuut, Fiverr was already ranking us based on this info for years. It was private, so the fact that they are showing what is impacting us is definitely a major step in the right direction. I've been asking for the buyer satisfaction rate or success score to be public, so we know at least where we stand and why we are at the back of the pack randomly. So I am glad they went with this approach. I was sure they won't share a lot of other info because most of the information they use for ranking and the success score is from private reviews. And as I said, if they promise buyers to keep that info private, I am sure we'll never learn what happens.   21. Well, put it this way. All this info was already seen in the background by Fiverr, and they were ranking us based on that. The only thing that happened is they started showing SOME of the hidden metrics. There are still many private metrics they are witholding from us. And since a lot of this ranking system is based on private data, I don't expect them to share more info. I am even shocked they display this much. But whenever they inquire people to share private reviews, they say the info will not be shared with anyone. So.. don't expect them to automatically share more info like what order received a bad private review or stuff like that. My guess is that kind of stuff will never happen. Unless they change the approach towards private reviews. Then again, they want people to have lower review scores and diversify the overall review spectrum. Until this change, most of the active sellers had 5 stars or 4.9 as a rating, and they were level 2. I will say, I tried to buy stuff for a few projects and everyone almost had the same rating on the first few pages. It's very hard as a buyer to purchase stuff when everyone has the same rating. But some sellers curate their orders and cancel, while others just deliver excellent work all the time. I get why they made this change, and I agree with purging bad sellers. I don't think doing that is fine if you're also harming great sellers in the meantime. But hey, it's their platform..
  22. Well I don't know the data, but seeing that you had some bad reviews within the last year and people can rate you poorly in private reviews, that might be the issue. And keep in mind this: not everyone that gives you a public review will bother to leave a private review. So your public reviews tell only one side of the story. Fiverr places a lot more weight on private reviews. And if out of let's say 100 orders the past year you had only 20 people leave a private review and 4-5 of those were people that left a bad private review.. you can see where these scores come in. That's the thing, Fiverr doesn't say how much weight these public reviews have. But we all know private reviews weigh in a lot more, and if there are a few of those bad ones, that is a huge issue for our accounts. No wonder some people have gigs with a very low score. They are still adjusting things in the background it seems, and clearly the focus is to not have as many people with perfect scores as we have now. Because the majority of the active sellers are level 2, rated 4.9 or 5 stars. I see why they did it, I understand why they won't disclose private data, but it still feels weird to fight a ghost when it comes to these private reviews and the success score. Sure, it shows what has a negative impact, but you don't have any idea what order was affected and why. Especially when publicly most people rate us with very positive reviews. But in the background there's a different story.
  23. Or they added other criteria overnight to the system as a whole. Which might be the reason why some people have a lower success score. A person said that they had a success score of 9 for one gig and now they have a success score of -. Their last review is exactly from an year ago for that gig. So I can only imagine they are covering a year's span with the success score. Until now I think there were 2 years. With more lower reviews coming from the review system within the past months, I can see why the success score is lower for some people. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
  24. I mean, they said that your current account is somehow connected to a banned account. Did you have an accountbeforehand and it was banned?
  25. Well if you delete the gig, you will not be able to recover it anymore. Pausing that gig is the much better idea.
