Hi Mates, I am a professional WordPress developer but I am new on Fiverr. So I have a limited idea about this marketplace. So give me some valuable tips to be a great start.
Or
Tell me,
which activity is more important to get my first order?

Thanks

Welcome to Fiverr Forum. It's great to hear that you're a professional WordPress developer. I think the most important thing to do is to make sure that you provide quality work and that you meet the buyer's expectations. Also, make sure to read the buyer's requirements carefully and communicate with them.

It's been three days to go since I published my gigs. But the impressions and clicks on my gigs are very low. So far I haven't got a single click on my gig. It's very disappointing to me😔

Please help me to get more impressions and clicks on my gigs.

Or

Visit My Profile and put down some tips on how to improve my gigs to get more impressions and clicks.

This is absurd. There are sellers who've worked on Fiverr for more than a decade and are finding it hard to compete. You are here complaining about not getting impressions and clicks just after 3 days. It takes months and years to be successful. I am not sure if you'll survive very long on Fiverr if you are so impatient and disappointed about not getting impressions 3 days after publishing the gig.

Why did you think Fiverr would be a get-rich-quick scheme? It took me 45 days to get my first order. Before that, I spent a great deal of time on the Fiverr Forum, reading and learning about what successful sellers did to get sales. If you hang around here, you may learn what you need to do to get the clicks on your gigs to convert into sales.

The truth is that it takes a lot of hard work to make it on Fiverr.

Thank you for your valuable speech. I know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be successful at Fiverr.  Maybe it's worst for you to reply to such kind of absurd post. Honestly said, I am writing this post to get advice from an Experience member and it also helps me to interact with some helpful people. It's one kind of gig marketing or something like that.

If you complain after being here for a total of 3 days and not getting sales, it does make you look as if you have expected for orders to start pouring in as soon as you have showed up.

If you're doing this for gig marketing, you're marketing your gig to the people who are not your target audience and are not going to buy from you.

Read the forum. There's an entire section called "Tips for Sellers" filled with advice. Read a lot (the forum, I mean; plus Fiverr's Terms of Service; plus their entire Help section, community standards, guidelines...). Read much, much more than you post, otherwise you're being disrespectful to everyone who has posted useful advice so far, and you're making yourself look as if you expect special treatment (as in, hold your hand and guide you baby step by baby step). Read, and implement what you're read (if it can be applied to your specific services).

In short, show some initiative and educate yourself. Sellers who do that succeed. Sellers who don't... Well, they keep asking why they're not getting sales.

Fiverr also offers a free course for freelancers: https://learn.fiverr.com/courses/online-freelancing-essentials-be-a-successful-fiverr-seller

Watch it and learn from it.

Hey there! I looked at your Gig and I would go for something more unique. Why do people come to you? What makes you different from competitors? I know it´s so difficult but I wish you all the best and a great weekend.

Well said @catwriter
@shakti_wp_dev to begin with, your gig images are not eye-catching. They all have information overload. Each one should have at the most five words that say what services you offer. Plus, as @teamandromeda noted, it is better if they contain an image of you. I have given this same advice 100s of times on the Fiverr Forum. You could have learned it by reading as @catwritersaid.

The other issue for all new sellers is that since COVID, there are three times as many sellers on Fiverr as before COVID. Therefore the competition is fierce.  You should have a profile write-up about what YOU will do to solve the buyer's problems, not one that tells the buyer how great you are.

On Fiverr, there are roughly 84,000 gigs for WordPress. You need to make yours stand out from all of the others.

For example, you can replace the image of that guy with your own image. So that everyone knows who Shakti is and that they are ordering from you. It gives a more personalized experience, I think. Not sure, but could be.

Oh, you're definitely right. An image of the seller would be so much better than the random fake-looking stock photo.
