How does the 20% off from Fiverr affect the seller?

I got an email today from Fiverr saying I had a code to get 20% off my first order.

But I am worried using it will take away from the creator, which I don't want to do.

I saw some posts saying that all this does is remove the cut that Fiverr takes, but I was hoping someone could confirm this?

In early days fiverr did take that from sellers but I think right now they don’t and they cover that part themselves
