Ive asked a buyer to leave a review if he likes. didn't know it was forbidden to do that... Ive just discovered it now from the forum.

You can’t, if fiverr will notice it you will get a warning. If they wouldn’t then you are safe.

Unfortunately, none of us can control your feelings. How safe YOU feel, is entirely up to YOU.

But, you are correct, you should not be asking your clients to leave reviews. Reviews are voluntary, and entirely up to the buyer.

You can ask buyers to leave a review. You can't ask buyers to leave a positive review, or a 5 star review. If you ask them to leave a review in neutral terms, that is not breaking any rules.

This has been confirmed by multiple success managers, as well as customer support. In fact, it was even suggested to me by my success manager, as in "you should really start asking for reviews!".

I have never asked for a review, yet 78% of my buyers have left reviews for me.

Provide top-notch services in a professional yet friendly way, and many buyers will leave you reviews. However, be aware that many buyers value their privacy when it comes time to leave reviews, plus there are buyers who resent being asked for a review regardless of if you do not ask for a positive one.
