Debit Cards Not Accepted Here?

Opened new debit card account while visiting USA in December. Now because my Fiverr account is registered in Cambodia they will not allow me use my USA debit card.

Even PayPal will not allow me to add USA Debit Card address into account, because it was opened in Philippines. I’m retired tourist and travel a lot.

Fiverr CS did nothing to assist.

Hello, sorry about that but I doubt anyone here can assist you with this.

Understand a debit card is like a check you write to withdraw funds from your bank account. If you are not a US citizen I don’t even know how you got one from the US. Or if you are one and live in another country where fiverr has you registered then that creates some security problems from fiverr’s or Paypal’s point of view.

It’s a way to prevent fraud. Debit cards are easy to steal or clone.

If you have a USA-based bank account, even if you weren’t a USA citizen, you can always ask your bank for a credit card. With it, you won’t have any problems using it on Fiverr, and surely, you’ll be able to add it to your PayPal account.
