  1. To be fair, a crying emoji is pretty tame stuff - take a leaf out of News of the World and hack into their phone for some stories about the tragedy! The best part of the whole inquiry that followed is hard to pick, but two highlights for me were: Rupert Murdoch pretending to be s*nile Wendi Deng (Rupe's ex-wife, alleged "close friend" of Tony Blair) kickboxing a comedian who broke into court to chuck a cream pie at Rupert Of course, nothing ever came of anything and none of the newspapers seem terribly interested in Murdoch's amazing mental recovery.
  2. I think I would have been a good tabloid journalist in a past life. That or those women's magazines with "top tips" on how you can use an old coat hanger and a used dish sponge to get "your man" to do your guttering (and overly complicated relationships and love quadrangle dramas with fascinatingly ugly - and related - people). The best bit about those stories is that you, too, can make £25 if you EXPOSE your DARK secret to them (a photographer will pop around to take the obligatory sad face picture). Perfect for reading on the plane, really.
  3. I hope so! I still haven't used it. Anyways, it's an ongoing work in progress so if anyone sees errors or thinks something needs adding etc let me know.
  4. And until recently, page 3 of the Sun always had busty women with their tops off. It knew its audience.
  5. Fiverr is using AI incredibly poorly, expert or not. I will not be attending the webinar. I have no interest in hearing the thoughts of people who aren't interested in the thoughts of their userbase, because all they can hear is the static noise from their AI tools. EDIT: I asked ChatGPT to write a short article about this upcoming webinar in the style of the Sun, a much-hated UK tabloid famous for its sensationalist headlines and simplified news stories. Already better output than a lot of Fiverr's own gen AI output. Gizza job?
  6. Since the WT link expired, I uploaded the latest version of the book (big green link at the top of the OP). It's basically the same, just with all the corrections/additions other people mentioned. I did these all last week so I can't really remember what they were, but the revisions section was expanded and there's probably some other typo or something I was too lazy to check since I am in a post-lunch energy slump.
  7. I am always amazed at how many sellers think nothing of doing illegal stuff (see list above). I suspect they're the same demographic as "is this obvious scam a scam?" and "I was banned for no reason!"
  8. Especially those of us who don't read the CS or decide to "interpret" them as "OK" if the buyer has a "legitimate firearms shop" (US). It's right there in the Community Standards:
  9. Is it really wise to keep an open fish tank in the same room/home as a cat, @markp? Guernica is appropriate, too. is that the cat's reflection in your computer monitor?
  10. The smiling face of Fiverr - you shoulda given him a heads-up, Kesha!
  11. Yep, you can block from the app. Or at least you could last time I blocked someone about a week ago.
  12. Alas, if only Fiverr had a Success Score for its own performance. Value for Money, Conflict-Free, Quality of Delivery, Timeliness, Working as Expected, Communication Skills....
  13. I don't know why people complain about tips. It's free money.
  14. Let me say mean things about Fiverr in peace without regard for logic!
  15. I rejected an otherwise very attractive-looking offer from a completely normal buyer who sounded great because he wanted a ton of stuff written about firearms (he owned a firearm store). Remembering that Fiverr's AI detection systems is about as useful as a chocolate teapot and may flag the inevitable talk of guns, shooting, and so on as "negative" on my "conflict-free" score, I told him that I would sadly be unable to take on the gig, falling back on my status as a clueless female person living in gun-free Europe (I happen to live on an island with ~1M illegal guns and most road signs shot up so this is not quite true) to avoid conflict. The quest for a work on Fiverr continues, mostly hindered by Fiverr's own systems at this point. Is anyone at Fiverr reading this? Go check my inbox, go check the word count, and then realize just how much this has cost me (and by default, you). Go on. I can give you so much more than $20 a month (which I probably won't, since SPP ain't worth it), you know. But as it is... you use the AI. You do that.
  16. I mean, if Fiverr can pull a 100% bait and switch on a group of sellers with SPP, it seems a bit rich to expect the sellers it (doesn't) vet to not follow their example. Perhaps I'm just being picky. I like the characterisation of "malicious practice" though, OP. I shall add it into my daily morning moan routine tomorrow (if I remember)!
  17. I thought Valhalla was a little bit too long. And I hated that stupid DLC where you had to do all those tests that were IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN. I prefer the older ones. I barely understand what's going on with the lore these days except [MASSIVE VERY CONFUSING SPOILERS]. It's dumb. But pretty. I enjoy finding places I've been to in the UK and Greece and then grumbling about how it looks nothing like the area, too. The Greek one was also too long. My favorite one was the ultra-buggy French revolution one. I also enjoy the... I forgot what it's called now, but the cinematic horror story ones. Man of Medan.... something in Salem... the haunted underground Iraqi alien lair... enjoyable pap, especially when the weird librarian interrupts to tell you you're rubbish and everyone's going to die unless you perk up.
  18. At this point it might be safer (and quicker) to answer the question "what is working at Fiverr right now?" EDIT: Feeling cute, did a screenshot
  19. I see someone else is an AC fan...
  20. I'm sorry Levi, but this was too good not to share.
  21. Stop lying everyone. I see you.
