  1. Have you been seeing more success with your promoted gigs? I've been promoting mine for awhile but I haven't really seen much success at all.
  2. So I'd suggest looking up a few things you'd be comfortable doing in different fields to try to branch out slightly. "Emotional support" is a totally dead field in Fiverr. I didn't even know it existed and there's no option for it via Fiverr services that I could see. If you look at the number in parenthesis that's the numbers or orders they've gotten where a review was given. I think the highest number on the front page was 12 that I could see. People just don't buy this service.
  3. It's a little scary to think about how crucial systems are being tested a week away from this system being rolled out as our new system. I still don't even know what my actual score is because the bug cancellation issue still exists. This bug will cause me to lose all of my levels and the progress I've made over a decade and it's still not fixed a week away from launch? Are they even trying to fix it or are they testing this new rating system both of which don't seem to be in a state that could be released.
  4. Here's where I'm basing the info off of. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/21965360854673-Success-score To be clear I kinda hate this as I think having more orders should offer a a kind of buffer since our numbers we assume are just being taken and divided to get an average.
  5. I thought they had mentioned that older accounts or accounts with a lot of orders would have negative marks judged more harshly than normal?
  6. WTH I see something different!
  7. Welcome, I hope it all works out for you. You're entered an already very full field and you're competing with seasoned Top Rated Sellers so I can't say you'll have an easy time getting started but I truly do wish you well. My suggestions are to have your end as tight as you can get it for whenever you do get that first gig. Make sure to over deliver, stay thankful and humble and you've hopefully got a client for life. When you've gotten about 20 orders / reviews you can then start promoting your gigs which can in some cases help with additional work as well.
  8. I don't know what being black has to do with anything on, are you saying that Fiverr is over harshly judging you based solely on your skin color? Fiverr is an international company with staff from all over the world of all nationalities. I'm not sure what PRO means today but it use to be the top 1% of Fiverr so it was a tough badge to get especially in high traffic fields like design where the competition is high. Now a days TRS offers more than PRO does and they're really only looking for new TRS in certain fields and I don't think interior design was one of the fields. https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/15140188560913-Top-Rated
  9. So sellers are reliant on Fiverr funneling clients your way. Down the road after about 20 orders you'll be able to promote to get a potential leg up but you're not there yet. Right now all you can really do is make sure your profile and gig's are on point and wait. The more niche a gig is typically the shorter you'll have to wait but honestly most anything digital now a days has plenty of seasoned reviewed sellers.
  10. So the real issue here is that Fiverr sees a 4star review as a bad review but then uses a smiley face emoji that any logical person would assume is positive / happy. THE ICON THEY USE IS LITERALLY THE IPHONE EMOJI FOR "HAPPY"!
  11. I'd love to take some of the classes on here to expand my skillset and branch out in the fiverr universe. From a buyer side I'd also purchase some gigs to help get me a website and help get social media started to help get a portfolio website and my branding online.
  12. I run or put on my serious face when I hear: "I've tried to work with [x] number of designers before you but they couldn't get me what I want" "I don't know what I want" (My go to response is generally to tell them that if that's the case then their likely not ready for me yet.) "I don't have all the info but I'll know it when I see it" (welcome to building and revising 47 logos to have the customer cancel AND leave a bad review)
  13. It's too early to tell because when you edit your gig in any capacity it resets your "Metadata" which causes your impressions to take a big hit initially.
  14. I'd suggest turning on the "Request to Order" feature if you can. This means the buyer has to reach out to you before they can place an order. It helps to have a conversation and get an idea of what you offer and what the client might expect from you before even starting an order.
  15. I've heard that as well regarding the 2 years but I don't know the source. Regarding the success scores I believe you (as a TRS) have additional protections and are being judged very differently than level 0-2 sellers.
  16. Could this be an Idiocracy type of situation? I feel like if you keep that mentality you'll be out ...... gig'd by the mobs of low quality gigs.
  17. So the 20% is for their service of using their platform. Promoting your gigs on the other hand is meant to be a feature to get you additional orders. I always hated seeing the post on social media stuff because in my case I can't promote on face book (as a digital good) and if I had a strong enough social media presence to generate revenue past what Fiverr can do then why would I send them to Fiverr and add a middleman.
  18. Yup, sure have. Currently as it stands nothing has changed but they have made it known that the cancellations affecting the score is a mistake to some extent. I made a post about it but didn't find out why it was happening.
  19. I had 30+ cancellations all in the span of like 12 hours awhile . I woke up to them, they were all from asia and all had the same copy / pasted reply. This has happened to me twice now.
  20. A little about me, level 2 seller here since 2010 that has had met the metrics for TRS for years but never applied, didn't seem to matter much to me in terms of getting work. I'm one of the people that's about to lose everything. Worse than that the only metric I know that's causing my success score to be a 4 is my cancellations that happened to me as a result of what I can only think of as some type of spam ...scam. Essentially I woke up to 30+ cancellations on my account all done before the information was entered so I had zero say or control. I also reached out to CS and my SM to confirm that all cancellations effect your score and even more over it has a larger impact on gigs with more orders. My take / 2 cents for all its worth. 1: Cancellations shouldn't effect you at all if done mutually or at no fault to you. 2: Private reviews shouldn't affect you unless verified by a staff member that you offered poor service. My real thoughts are that you should also get a chance to defend yourself but I'm not sure how you would while keeping the private review private. Maybe their shouldn't be both public and private reviews?
  21. If you ever need a logo we can barter for it. You're a writer right, I can always use some touch ups on my gig description or something to that affect. Open offer to anyone willing to barter of course. I'm pretty fly for a level 0 seller.
  22. So I've said this in another post but my hot take is that if you won't say it publicly than maybe you shouldn't say it. Where I live it's a fundamental right to be able to face your accuser and defend yourself. Why on earth would someone publicly give a 5 star review and then behind close doors give a bad rating. Seems suspicious and shady to me especially since we can't see the review or even be told we received one to have a chance to defend ourselves.
  23. Is this why people like me are getting screwed? I've kept my account in damn near perfect standing for a decade (no easy task) and because of that I'm going to lose everything? I almost want to put on my tin foil hat and wonder if Fiverr is trying to "thin the herd" so to speak.
