  1. Don't expect to see it. It's nothing to do with your browser, they are likely a/b testing this, showing it to a small sub-set of random customers or even only in certain categories.
  2. It really needs to be nuked. This question is basically the equivilent of an Net Promoter Score, which is pretty much regarded as garbage by anyone who knows anything about data science.
  3. I know for a fact they definitely do (one of my ex-colleagues works there). I'm thinking they are just trying some experiments to see what works. In the industry we call that "being data driven", when the reality its more like throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.
  4. Can you please explain how having two years of ratings is “more up to date”? Before was it “all time”? Two years still seems like a very long period that could potentially punish long serving freelancers compared to newbies. I almost feel like each statistic should have a long-term and short-term version so clients can see if our service has improved or degraded over time.
  5. Hey folks, I've noticed a weird bug with the Fiverr app in recent weeks and thought it would be good to share. I initially thought this bug was due to me using an old phone but it still happens on a brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max so time to report! When I get a message from my customers I always get two notifications one for the messages and then one in my "profile" tab. This is annoying in itself, however when I reply to my message and close the app, the notification remains until I open the app again and THEN it disapears. It's super weird and frustrating. Hope you can fix. (I'll try and get a video or something the next time it happens!)
  6. Fiverr often won't give you a detailed explanation as to why you have been banned as it allows scammers to work out ways around the block. I think the new level flag system is slightly different to the old account warnings system which is why you are seeing some inconsistency here. By any chance when you were teaching other people to create Fiverr accounts were you and they all on the same network? (wifi etc). If so, theres a good chance you have been flagged for creating multiple accounts which is a breach of the Fiverr T&C's
  7. Does anyone know if Fiverr has cranked up it's international advertising recently or something? This past couple of months I've had a large influx in messages coming to me in non-english languages (French, Spanish, German), even though I have my language listed as English.
  8. Errm... you call yourself an experienced WordPress developer. You should already know the answer to this.
  9. Make sure you install the Fiverr app and respond in a timely manner. Unless I'm sleeping, I usually try to respond as fast as I possibly can. This also helps with converting more conversations into actual orders as a lot of customers will message multiple sellers to get an idea of who is the most responsive (how do I know, because on more than on occassion I have recieved messages that included the name of one of my main competitors that the customer has clearly copy and pasted).
  10. It would be nice if Fiverr actually honoured the revision limit we set on our gigs! I literally have no idea why this setting exists when it does absolutely nothing.
  11. This is a super interesting point... revisions are decided by the customer, we as sellers have no control over customers requesting a revision. Why should it impact our scores? Just this month, I completed an order (3 days early) and the customer came back to me with a weird question and instead of asking, he posted it as a revision. I needed more info to answer the question and they took a week to respond, during which time the revision sat there in red ticking away. My scores are currently green across the board, if this is true then I should soon see an update to my scores to reflect this "red revision".
  12. It's definitely a tricky topic because value for money is purely subjective. Someone in North America has a whole different concept of value compared to someone living in Eastern Europe.
  13. You just need to keep being awesome! I somehow made it through this update with a good set of stats so here are a few hints from a TRS: Respond quickly to customer enquiries, both before and during your order Be polite and courteous - I always message customers as soon as I see their order, thanking them and letting them know when to expect delivery. Under promise, over deliver. I throw in little perks that add extra value and increase satisfaction. I almost always deliver faster than my scheduled delivery time. Keep your pricing reasonable. Value is something that Fiverr measures. If the price you charge doesn't match the quality of your service your ratings will suffer. It's tempting in this day and age to follow the herd and put up your prices, but people on Fiverr want value for money (also, customers paying more have higher expectations and will likely be more critical if your service doesn't deliver on its promise!) Avoid cancellations at all costs. Remind customers to leave a review - When I deliver my orders, I include a message that asks customers to mark the order as complete and leave a review (even with this, less than 50% actually bother!). Whatever you do, do not attempt to shape their review. Respond to revisions positively and quickly. I don't offer revisions on my service but sometimes customers will have a question and use the revision option instead of chat. I always respond quickly and "deliver" the answer to their question as a document.
  14. If you are on the same external IP address, then yes, there is every chance that Fiverr could identify you as a risk and warn/ban you. I suggest that if you can't prevent him opening an account then you need to make sure you never interact with each other (i.e. don't message in fiverr, don't buy each others services or leave reviews etc).
  15. Has anyone complaining about not knowing how to improve tried clicking the big button that says "how to improve your gig score" ? Lots of juicy information in there!
  16. I don't understand why you are annoyed, the new system clearly gives you guidance on why your scores aren't good. If you have lots of five star reviews but "Client satisfaction" is low - it's your private reviews, customers are clearly signalling to Fiverr that they aren't happy with your work.
  17. This happens on all digital platforms... I'm currently trying to sell a Fishtank on Facebook Marketplace. I've had three people message me "Hi! Is this still available?" and then go completely silent.
  18. Stars are unrealiable as a way to review things (especially people) because customers will just slap five stars and move on. It's quick and they don't need to think. Despite being a seller primarily, I've bought services on Fiverr in the past that have been absolute garbage and had five star reviews across the board. If people won't leave proper reviews, Fiverr MUST update the system to make it more acurate. It's no good for customers or sellers if customers can't tell the good sellers apart from the bad. The system will surely need some refining but it has to be live for Fiverr to learn from it and iterate. Be patient folks, they'll get there eventually.
  19. We don’t live in a world of simple “rank” any more. Search results are customised and personalised based on a huge number of criteria. I bet that the system has identified that you aren’t a good match for your own gig because you have clicked on it so many times but never bought it!
  20. They either got banned from Fiverr, deleted their account or blocked you.
  21. Have been on Fiverr for a few years now on and off and have over a 150 five star reviews (almost exclusively 5 star with the exception of a couple of crazys that would never have been happy unless the order was delivered on a golden platter). Today I got my first 4.7 star review under the new system. Feels sort of weird but I'm also happy because all the five star reviews felt soooo fake. I wonder if Fiverr is ever going to do anything to fix up buyer reviews as well so that we can "acurately" review our customers? 🙂 I bet... not 😄 😄
  22. totally agree - Pay Per Order, would be a lot more valuable to me than Pay Per Click (but guess which one makes more money for Fiverr?)
  23. Errrm... obviously. If you generate traffic to your gig of course you are going to see more impressions. Thats the people clicking on your social media links, not Fiverr giving you more traffic. "staying active all the time" is a myth and does absolutely nothing to drive more traffic. The only advantage is that customers *might* be more likely to click on your gig if they see you are online and you might be able to close the deal if you respond faster.
  24. you know this is a user forum right...? Just buyers and sellers chatting about stuff. Not for customers support and most of the people here can't help you. You have to be patient and wait for customer service to respond to you.
