  1. When I started, I reached out to friends and family and asked them to order something small in order to get the reviews. Some have no problem with $5 here and there to help out 😀
  2. 100% agree. AI has its place... and it's NOT in determining outcomes of an individuals business. They want a totally "hands-free" approach to this platform, so they can turn it into a money printing engine.
  3. Absolutely... As they continue to make changes and seemingly crush sellers with arbitrary random new rules like the super secret reviews, and a 2 year windoe to erase all you've worked for in building reviews, rank and clientele... id say thats a hard yes.
  4. So.. the obvious elephant in the room: 1. Nothing done about or mentioned (that I saw) regarding the super secret reviews all done AFTERWORDS still implying underhanded lack of transparency. ("Psst, hey buyer, tell us how you really feel...don't worry, the seller won't know) 2. There goes your OVERALL rating by using an arbitrary number of "2 years". All your hard work will now be erased. While some of these changes may seem like a good move, there are still shady practices that continue to go on behind the scenes. It's ludicrous to erase your overall score that you have worked hard to build. Guess what happens to all that rank you've worked hard to get to.... you get knocked down to the lowest rank all over again. If you get into a slump, as agents promote those who are Pro members, that leaves you in the dust. No... they continue to change the already established rules and standards that were just fine. Jacking with someone's business is underhanded and ruins moral and trust in the system. Leave it alone, it was fine a year ago.
  5. Good day all, The email for : Unlocking Fiverr's Hidden Potential: Earning Big with “Trend Surfing” Gigs, was set for 12 EST. I logged in at 11 and 1115 CST. Said I was early. Logged in at 1202, 1215, 1230 CST, Said I was early.... Not sure what to think of this event, as I wasn't able to attend, it's now 1235. I really wanted to attend this one. I'd there a chance to watch it after the fact??
  6. However.... The OVERALL problem with this entire system is the "transparency" between Fiverr, the client, and the seller. This is a gross oversight. A seller has no idea of their REAL feedback and is thus 'secretly' punished with no way of knowing if correcting what they do is even needed. No, it just shows up in the form of a gig or two causing a drop in stats with the seller having no real 'understanding' of what happened. So, Fiverr and the client have a separate 'secret deal' going on behind the scenes. Transparency is vital for building trust, understanding, and most of all- GROWTH. THIS is not happening with this new system. The client, as well as the seller, EACH have the opportunity in the old system to rate on all the key markers, leaving a comment based on their experience & the opportunity to take that information and GROW.... vs that and "Tell us how you REALLY feel...pssst... don't worry, the seller won't see this response." I mean, If you can't see how shady that is, and a hindrance to growth... then you have bigger issues. OH WAIT... and then that info gets fed into an AI to spit out its determination?? Really? Bottom line, it's shady to have a conversation behind someone's back and then promote NO transparency as a good thing. It's truly unprofessional and lacks ethical character. It's a terrible system.
  7. So you're the reason none of OUR tickets arent being answered?? Adding more to their workload??
  8. It has now been 5 days- and no response from CS
  9. It has never taken that long.... never
  10. I put in a ticket last Thursday, April 18, 2024. That's 4 days of a "You’re in good hands, and we’re doing our best to get back to you within 12 hours..." No response- in the meantime... I have an expired order on my board that needs taken care of. Whats going on here?
  11. "Let's use AI... so we can be less hands-on... and sit back and collect money, and let the chips fall where they may" Seems legit
  12. Then that can be reflected in the Star System.... there is absolutely no need for a 'secret review'. To have your stats tank based on an 'invisible metric' creates massive trust issues. Transparency is key to that trust. Using the Star System was perfectly fine- it gave full visibility, and BOTH sides can see it. Including potential NEW clients. But to sit here and think you're fine, then discover there's some shady stuff going on behind these scenes is underhanded and deceiving. It truly is a terrible idea.
  13. Private reviews are shady and do not reflect the seller / Fiverr relationship as being up front and is a gross violation of transparency. There was nothing wrong with the Star system. If the client wasn't happy, was there not already a place for them to mention their concerns? Of course there was (is) Now, Fiverr goes behind the backs of the sellers and asks: "Tell us what you really think... and don't worry, the seller won't see this review" There might as well be a "Pssst, hey..." in the first line of the review! I mean... that is so shady... I don't know how you can call this fair. I have had ZERO negative reviews, and now I hear my 'boss' is whispering behind my back? When there was a perfectly good system already in place?? Are you kidding?
  14. Why even bother creating new gigs if there's a risk if them burning down your account? Makes no sense.
  15. Soooo... Why even create new gigs if there is a risk of them burning down your account?
  16. Typical...

    Always happens to me

  17. . . . Nothing solved. A buyer that wants to be a jerk, can lie to your face with a 5-star review, then turn around and give you a bad review. It's a poor system, and the sellers are forced to take it. Especially when it's evident by the overall Stars where they ALREADY have the option to express their experience. It's a needless part of the system and needs to go.
  18. How is this even possible when all my clients use the Star system? If it's a negative, why are my scores above the criteria of 7?? I have ZERO complaints from my customers, yet, somehow these are showing a "Negative Impact" How? Why? What are the Fiverr gurus using to measure these? Both of these have 5-Star ratings ACROSS THE BOARD without a single NEGATIVE review. What sort of game is this? There is a HUUUUGE DISCONNECT between the reviews and the private survey! Clients are allowed to have it both ways? How is that fair?
  19. I have 5-Stars in every single gig. Why are you punishing people for offering STELLAR service?? I would rather wait for $20k than have my work go unnoticed and penalized for doing great work.
  20. So, impose a punishment for being creative by offering a niche item. How in the world does it 'help Fiverr'? They lose absolutely nothing by maintaining a gig. They get 20% of your profits, they have the server space. For clarification: When I say 'low performing gig', I didn't mean 'less than 5-stars'. They are gigs that provide a unique product for that rare client that, on occasion, will swing by. So all that said, as a voice actor- why on earth would someone create a "Halloween gig" that showcases their talent when it only comes around once a year? That will inevitably become a 'low performing gig' and thus, will drive down your scoring. Its ludicrous. At this point, EVERYONE should only have 1 gig... and let the chips fall where they may.
  21. Ahh... so this is nothing more than a money grab to get rid of people who are on the low end of the spectrum... at least that's what I'm getting from this. All this time, trying to build something- only to have it yanked away in the end. When I say my gigs are 'poorly performing' that isn't to say that they are below a - star rating- I'm saying they are 'specialty gigs' for that rare customer that may need that niche item.
  22. Agreed, there seems to be little reason to continue when restrictions like this keep pushing people further away from a goal. I mean, at this point- why would anyone START a new gig for fear of it not performing, thus pushing further from the goal? An overall rating should be applied- not individual gigs. Again, some gigs are 'specialty' or 'novelty' gigs for a rare customer base
