  1. Maybe you are only allowed 1 attempt a day. Try tomorrow after 24 hours have passed, and make sure you send everything requested. It should all be ok. If not, I am sure customer support will help you.
  2. Oh, so basically it's the old Buyer Satisfaction Rate that was accessible only to Success Managers. It's great that we can still see where we stand and there are some tips on how to improve. Maybe we can have a similar topic to this product release when that new feature comes out, I had a meeting with one of your colleagues, and I had a glimpse at the new level system and how it looks, but there weren't that many details about what information is shared with us and how to improve. I will definitely share some feedback, if necessary, when this new feature rolls out. Thanks for your reply and clearing things out.
  3. Pretty sure the decisions were made when this new review system entered its beta phase. Some things were prone to change, but value for money and other things that directly impact your reviews.. those are solid for quite some time in the future. I don't see Fiverr changing this. Of course anything that will lower review scores will not be popular for sellers. But if Fiverr thinks it benefits the platform in the long run, they will implement that idea and stick with it. We'll have to wait and see how things evolve, it's not like we can change the system anyway. Maybe buyers get used to it, who knows.
  4. Oh, for sure that can happen if you are a very low volume seller. You pray that a regular comes back. True. Although I for one try to avoid that by vetting buyers beforehand or canceling if I feel the project is not ok for me. Thankfully I didn't have that many problems like that. But I can see that some people do, and that's why Request to Order is a godsend, so you can avoid random orders.
  5. True, but what about level 2 at 4.6... It's almost the same, if a person has 4-5 orders during the timespan of 2 months... and only one person leaves a review that's 4 stars, then they lose their level.
  6. I definitely relate. I made that a part of my everyday life to the point where each time I have a bit of a breather even for a few seconds, I always check my account to see if there are any new orders or messages. Also, it doesn't help that some people are very hard to work with and you end up dealing with lots of stress and anxiety. In fact, I am sure I have that problem right now, so I'll just go and take a breather to de-stress. The idea of having a leveling system that adds even more pressure horrifies me, and it also encourages me to diversify my income. I've always been loyal to Fiverr, but these changes combined with AI are not making it easy to stay Fiverr-only these days.
  7. They will share that next month when it's released. There's also a webinar next month too. There is transparency, but obviously some stuff will not be shown. I can only assume it has to do with info from private reviews.
  8. So the success score is also tracked over 60 days like the previous system? Or is there a new timeline for it, in which case, what would be the new timeline, 90 days?
  9. I saw the work in progress during a meeting with Fiverr. The graphic had a mention about unique buyers. But I don't know... it seems they are changing stuff from what was clearly a work in progress. There will be more transparency when compared to now, however there are still tons of things that we won't know. At least we have some idea of what's improved. I've been very open on the forum about a way for people to see their buyer satisfaction rate, and it seems we finally have it. The fact they "removed order completion rate & on-time delivery" is sad. But they are adding unique buyers into the mix. Not sure if we need to have unique buyers every month, that's a dealbreaker for a lot of low quantity sellers, they rely on repeat buyers.
  10. This is strange. How does the gig order history relate. I think they are introducing the requirement of having multiple unique buyers a month, if I am not mistaken. Regardless, it's clear that it's becoming much more difficult to keep a level, and obviously much easier to lose it. Simple. That's for internal use, it doesn't appear publicly and it doesn't have any relevance. Seller reviews are public and they will affect the overall gig score. They could use the same wording though, I agree. Although to be honest, I always left 5 stars to CS, I rarely had an issue that was not solved.
  11. Based on what I heard, it's pretty much the satisfaction rate that was a private metric until now. They changed it a bit, I think, and they are showing us some of the things we can do to improve. But I am certain a lot of those metrics are still unavailable and private. At least we know when and if we have a low buyer satisfaction rate.
  12. That's a great idea, @emmaki. Because it becomes way more unpredictable to figure out what review you're getting with new buyers. One buyer can ruin your gig score for a month, and that can lead to losing your level. Based on the new strategy they have, I guess they expect a lot of people to lose their level 2. That's why they added a transitional period.
  13. Last year around this time I had a rather vindictive buyer that ended up leaving a pretty bad review, and I assume a bad private review too. It took months to actually start receiving consistent orders from new buyers. So yeah, it can take quite a long time. Continue working on your gigs and also try to find some extra ways to generate income in the meantime. Because, especially with the new review system and changes, you might have inconsistencies when it comes to earnings.
  14. I think it's based on either the order date or when people review the order. Regardless, if they said it's live, then it's live 😄 It might take a bit to update.
  15. Exactly. I particularly found more sellers that are newer (joined within the past year, year and a half) and they have perfect ratings. One of them was a writer, and they had grammar mistakes within the gig description. I clearly think something fishy is happenning there. So on one side, I am ok with the new system, if buyers are honest and rate us the way they truly think, objectively. The problem is that people always have bias, and that can lead to random reviews that don't reflect the work quality. And for me, that's an issue. I agree with you, there's no way that everyone will be happy with your work. Either people have different expectations, they are extremely frugal or picky, so you can't really have perfection across the board. It was at first, I guess they removed it later. Regardless, they do want to shift stuff from private to public reviews. I am questioning, where will private reviews stand... if some features are shifted to public reviews, then will private reviews still matter? Are they revamping those too?
  16. To me, Alex, what this means is that they want levels to have more power. Right now pretty much every seller with some decent sales over the past few year/s is level 2. They don't want everyone to have 5 stars and be level 2. That's the majority of the active marketplace here (there might be way more people without a level that had no sales, but that doesn't matter), and again, it's clear they want more diversity. And of course, to have people work harder for better ratings. Even though, in some cases, reviews are random and even dozens of hours of work are not accurately represented by the review you receive. Which we all know already happened in a lot of cases.
  17. To be fair, they had this review system in beta for a month or so.. It's not exactly sudden. But the sad thing is, they are not changing it, at least for now anyway. Clearly they want to encourage more sales, because the more sales you have, the lower the impact any metric will have. Yet with AI and so many other things destroying the service market, not everyone can have hundreds of sales a month. So the truth is, any review can have a massive impact. And that's scary for sure. On top of that, there's the new success score, yet another thing to keep an eye on. I am sad they are not offering full transparency on how to improve that, just a few tips. And obviously a few tips won't really help that much, if your issue is within one of the hidden metrics.
  18. Yeah, I think they want to give more power for that level 2. Because right now, most people that are active sellers have level 2. This might be a way to differentiate make level 2 more valuable. Because the difference between level 2 and TRS is minimal star-wise.
  19. I forgot to say this.. Considering it will be more difficult to keep levels, I can see a LOT of people dropping from level 2 to level 1. Not sure if that's intended or not, but clearly if someone has a few orders a month and 2 of those have a 4 or 4.3 rating, then that puts them in peril of losing their level.
  20. I saw that, and also TRS sellers get early payout for free. Pretty sure it was just for Seller Plus until now. Interesting.
  21. That link just has example images. They tried to show an example for average, excellent and very bad selections, for everyone to see what they would receive. Plus, since the focus is on lowering reviews, obviously they wouldn't show 5 stars for everything in those images. I think the next month, month and a half in particular will be a joyride 🙂
  22. Yes, but unfortunately they will not share everything. It does say what things you could improve. However, based on what I was told, there are still plenty of metrics that stay hidden. It's definitely a step in the right direction with transparency, but don't (ever) expect full transparency. After all, transparency can lead to abuse and people manipulating the system. Basically, this product update brings some parts of the private reviews to the public side of things, both with the buyer satisfaction rate and value for money.
  23. And it's now fully live. https://www.fiverr.com/cp/freelancers-levels-ratings There are also more details about the new leveling system.
  24. That's true. It's also subjective, because value for money might not represent only the product quality. Maybe the buyer liked the product a lot, yet the communication was cumbersome, the product had to go through a lot of revisions, etc. So yeah, they might like the final delivery, but sometimes it can take a while to get there. And again, there are also various sellers that become irate when someone tells them their work needs revisions, etc. So in my opinion, value for money can also encompass that, among other things. Yes, if the buyer agreed to your price, the value should be great. But I think other factors are taken into account by a buyer when sharing the "value for money". Because yeah, you might have a great result, but the value wasn't that great if the seller was difficult to work with, and it also took 3x the time advertised, right? Just sharing an example and a few thoughts that came to mind. It's a huge platform, so this type of situations happen. Also, most people that complain about value for money receive 4 instead of 5 stars for that metric. I didn't see people complaining they got less than 4 stars there, at least they are not the majority anyway. I've stopped chasing a perfect score myself, I always try to deliver the best quality that I can at my price, and combine that with proper customer service when necessary.
  25. Generally, I am the one trying to deflate the situation, if there's any "heat". There's no benefit for me if I argue with anyone, because people can easily leave a review sharing their experience, not to mention their private review. So in general, I try to be very helpful and also I am the one trying to solve any type of issue. I think it's fine to be confident, but you also need to realize that some people are offended very quickly. That's why I always try to talk with potential customers first. If they have unreasonable expectations or they ask unrelated stuff instead of giving me the guidelines or saying what they want, clearly that's not the type of client I can work with. So yeah, for me, it's important to vet people beforehand.
