  1. Thanks for admitting that you are dishonest and break TOS by using refresh tools. Reported to Fiverr.
  2. Fellas, this is business. If you don't know what you are doing you should not be here. No one will hold your hand and coddle you along except maybe your grandma.
  3. No, a genuine SEO expert would know how to help himself. We reply this way to people who fake their credentials in order to scam people out of their money by offering services that they pretend to know. Just look at his profile, where he claims to be "fluent in English, which is yet another glaring untrue statement. Fraud is rude, and you acting as an apologist for fraudsters is naïve and not helpful.
  4. That is a small issue. The larger issue is that when you claim to be "fluent" in English, but clearly are not, it makes potential buyers wonder if you will misrepresent that fact, what else in your profile may not be true. It is fine to be shaky in English, it is not OK to claim that you are fluent when you are not.
  5. Yep, the "post your gigs to social media" advice is a myth. It is repeated so much that people believe it, but it does not work. If it were that easy, we would not see 95% of of forum traffic being "help, I cannot get a sale."
  6. @smashradio has written on this issue quite a bit in the past. Fiverr compresses the files after you upload them to save bandwidth, and they kill your audio quality in the process. I don't believe anyone has found a way to have a lossless demo. Shame.
  7. Let's say Company A licenses the "Superman" image from DC for a T shirt design. Company A only has the right to use the image for that one purpose. They could not of course, design a toothbrush holder and just use the image. It is very, very specific. The reason I bring this up is that Company A would not have the legal authority to give you permission to post DC's intellectual property. Only DC could grant you that, and they would most likely not do it. The biggest risk you would run is a competitor ratting you out to DC, and Fiverr dropping you because of that.
  8. That is terrible advice because spamming is against the TOS and could get his account banned and t.exting is clearly against the rules.
  9. Sell a lot of services.
  10. If you reply using incorrect English, such as the sentence above, that does not build confidence. Then when someone looks at your profile and sees something completely untrue like this... It makes them wonder if you would be willing to lie about being proficient in English, what else are you lying about in your offer? You can't fake your way to success.
  11. It makes no difference where you are. Deceiving potential customers is dishonest. Faking being online when you are sleeping is dishonest.
  12. @leo_graphiq You are the one being rude and dishonest. Why would you ask about an auto refresher if you did not want to lie about your online status? If you were honest you would never have asked if you could use something that fakes online status.
  13. I went to McDonald's for my wife. I'm listing them as a client.
  14. Those Canadians, every time.
  15. If it sounds anything like your demo then you have nothing to worry about. Take it slow, and refuse his cancellation requests every time.
  16. Post your VO that you delivered here. We'll tell you
  17. 1. That varies according to how much better you are against all the folks selling the exact same service who got here before you. 2. No benefit to staying active. That's noob myth #1. 3. You are asking the benefit of learning? I would suggest knowledge.
  18. My personal favorites are the snake oil sellers who promise to make someone fall in love with you by lighting a candle and chanting "Doo Wah Ditty Ditty" for $5, or even peer into the future and tell your fortune for $5. If only they would realize that they can predict the lottery numbers for the week ahead, they would be all set and not have to swipe a $5 bill from Grandma who wants to know if Grandpa is happy in the afterlife. I love the knock down, drag out of the business world, but have zero tolerance for people who prey on the feeble minded, lonely or gullible to enrich themselves.
  19. Fiverr will be pissed that Pfeiffer got there first. Sometimes Pfizer gets there.
  20. Only if you want your account to be closed for fraud, since you are lying, right? Especially now that you have publicly confessed to breaking the TOS.
