  1. I have one response that I paste for every order, no matter what. "Thanks for your business."
  2. When they deserved it yes. Maybe twice in 5,000 orders, and both times cause they wanted free work after ignoring the terms of my gig. They posted "Bad guy, wants more money just to redo the order" 1 star I respond, "That is clearly stated in FAQ's of gig. Not my fault that you did not understand what you bought." 1 star Simple.
  3. No one is abusable unless they allow it. Some wear that as a cloak to excuse every sort of deficiency. "Buyer abused me by asking for the design to be in line with their requirements." "Buyer make me do 750 free revisions, what can I do?" etc, etc.....
  4. I'm speaking more broadly about the mob in the other threads who are incensed that buyers will be actually able to review them.
  5. This what I have pointed out. The attitude that sellers are infallible and buyers are always wrong. It is a religion here. An angry, pitchfork and torch carrying religion.
  6. In this entire thread, that is the single biggest take away. You nailed it on the head. There is a cult which believes that they alone carry the absolute truth with them and anyone who dares challenge it is an infidel who needs to be silenced. Question that and they accuse you of victimizing them often in the most childish ways.
  7. I sell VO's I understand your point, but you are only open to these problems if you do not explain clearly what the rules are for things like asking for retakes or script changes. I never say no, but I sure do explain how much such things cost, and direct them to that right in my gigs and FAQ's
  8. So free expression goes only one direction? The direction that favors you? It is completely relevant that this guy lost his mind, mid process. Relevant indeed.
  9. Yes, people need to realize that the way one acts affects how others react. I can go into a bar where Mike Tyson is sitting, and keep running my mouth as to how I could kick his ass. I have that right. But I should not be surprised when he grows tired of it and knocks my teeth out. Defending someone not smart enough to know this puts you in questionable company.
  10. When you say "We" it appears that you are trying to represent yourself as a Fiverr employee, as opposed to someone spamming the wrong category in an attempt to "rank gig."
  11. Pedro, what would you do if you just finished a nice meal, and while waiting for the check to arrive, left a 5 star review on the Yelp app. Then, after leaving the tip, the waiter takes offense at the 15% tip you left, and rushes to the door and yells, "Hey, you and your fat wife had better not come back you cheap SOB." Would you change your review? That is what happened here.
  12. When a seller loses their mind and engages in such amateurish and childish behavior, even after the seller is satisfied? Absolutely, yes. You seem to struggle with the concept that I believe people should be able to say any damned thing they wish. Sometimes there are consequences involved, but that is expected. You are the one wanting the edit button. Again, Wrong side of history.
  13. Pedro, disagreeing with you is not the definition of a bad take. This thread perfectly illustrates the kind of dumb behavior on the part of sellers that you wish to enshrine in an "uncommentable bubble of perfection." Your willingness to accept the absolute perfection of the seller, and lay the blame squarely at the feet of the buyer in every single case is opaque and honestly, intellectually fascinating. If this guy is your poster boy, I'd suggest you are on the wrong side of history
  14. Wh You did this to yourself. You were home free, but decided to kick a satisfied (albeit demanding) customer in the ass AFTER he left a 5 star review? You earned this for not applying the most basic common sense rule of not kicking a beehive when seeing one. By the way, you are in violation of Forum rules by displaying the name of your buyer. You cannot shame others by name.
  15. Yes you are, but I was being polite by not pointing it out directly. That would have answered your "who is WE" question. Read and learn. Then post.
  16. He is not the only one saying that. But you have to read to determine that.
  17. I have heard that. I believe @leannelrivers commented along those lines as well. Lots to learn indeed.
  18. Again, could you not post their abusive screenshot as a reply? I do understand your point.
  19. That works fine as long as you get to be the 100% authority of what is "false." It's good to be the king. In your scenario, someone orders then says I wanted a female VO. The VO talent refuses to cancel as TOS says 100% supports. Buyer leaves a bad review. VO talent responds and includes screenshot of moron buyer saying. "I wanted female, but ordered a male VO" The world can see he's an idiot. Why the shady games? Truth is OK.
  20. Or whatever the criticism. How about "Dead mouse in my spaghetti?" You know what I'm saying. You're still making the case for suppressing information. period.
