  1. My brother has problems with your story.
  2. Oh, then you should just walk away. I thought you were actually being threatened.
  3. Forget Fiverr, contact the state police and present your evidence.
  4. @filipdevaere It is futile to offer facts to someone who worships at the altar of the perpetually uninformed.
  5. It's been 3 months since we received this email from the boss promising "more qualified customer traffic" as part of a doubling down on Fiverr's commitment to quality. What color Ferrari's have you been ordering? I'm going with Azzurro Dino.
  6. It's true. Almost every sales pitch gets to that question. Go into an office and tell them that they should buy paper from you instead of Dunder Mifflin, they will say, why should I buy from you? One must have an answer ready to go.
  7. Why should someone buy from you when there are thousands already selling the same service?
  8. Sure, answer this for me, "Why should I buy from you instead of the sellers already offering this same service?"
  9. Please trust me when I tell you that buyers who ask for discounts are going to be the pickiest, most difficult to please, and prone to revision after revision buyers you can find. I believe most experienced sellers would tell you to politely decline. Occasionally, I'll toss a break to someone who buys from me every month regularly. But this is not that.
  10. Is that the only dishonest thing you've done, or do you have other "tips?"
  11. For you, in this situation, yes. But you can't make policy for everyone on this one case. Best I can hope for is to read both sides of the story after the cancel.
  12. That seems pretty clear. Once you reach all the requirements to be considered, they manually look at your gigs and determine if they are of sufficient quality to get the TRS badge.
  13. This will come as a great surprise to my friend @filipdevaere
  14. I really know it sucks, but you have to understand that we have exactly 50% of the story. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but without the other side of the coin, who can say with 100% certainty that he was not justified? If he did get a terrible delivery, and had to cancel because of it, that is something that buyers have a right to know. Again, not accusing you of anything. Can't form an opinion with one side of the story. And of course, both sides are always 100% perfect in every way when they tell their side. I watch my Judge Judy. Since there is no perfect system, I'd rather be in a system where reasons for cancellation are displayed and buyers can read the totality of the seller's reviews to form an opinion, as opposed to the previous system where bad sellers sanitized their reviews by hiding them with a refund, allowing terrible sellers to have perfect 5 star reviews with 100% positive feedback. You must know better than this. The anger speaking?
  15. @vickieito Such sad news, I'm so sorry. I wish you healing and the strength to get your kids through it all.
  16. The answer lies in being able to answer the question, "What makes your gig more attractive to buyers than the gigs of the 9,078 people who got here before you? What can you do for a seller that they cannot get from someone already established?" It's a question that comes up in every sales pitch, "Why should I buy from you?"
  17. Why? If you are planning on using a VPN to appear in that country, Fiverr will detect it and disable your account.
  18. Start by being truthful about your abilities.
  19. You might get some orders if you removed the parts of your profile that are not true.
  20. How did you get inside a website? Is it like the Matrix?
  21. Only thing I would suggest is never offer anything at $5. It seems like it is not valuable at that price, and it also draws the worst possible buyers to you. Try $20.
