  1. Good point. It should be seen as a different opinion, but in this case, the client’s opinion matters. I remember watching a design tutorial on YouTube where the artist mentioned creating a design for a client. Client requested some changes that were completely wrong it would alter the design and wouldn’t look good because it didn’t follow design principles. However, that artist made the changes anyway because that’s what the client wanted.
  2. You didn't put a smiley face, so my response to this is: "Why not wait for a year?" 🙂 (Apologies if someone already made that joke.)
  3. I don't know why GPT put double hyphen "--" in every correction 😞
  4. Or maybe neither. Looks like you missed the memo. Fiverr’s brief system has had a bit of a glow up! It’s now changed,
  5. These brief's are inactive so you can't ask question or send custom offer but if these brief's are active then you will have these options like ask question or send custom offer.
  6. Yeah, and from a personal point of view, a few of my clients have asked me like one client from Holland, TD Sportswear (a very popular brand), asked me to handle their exports, like placing orders from my country and checking prices, etc (not personal, but outside my usual work) Another client from Germany asked me to teach him which was very cool, and one from Bangkok well, I kind of invited myself to that one! 🙂. It was fun. I'm a bit of an introvert, so I'm not going anywhere 🙂
  7. Good point and for $5 I work with some clients who used lower price ranges just to see what a seller can do. It's more like a test sample. Once they see the quality is good, they tend to use that seller’s service regularly. These are mostly new buyers who are just starting to use Fiverr
  8. On Youtube and it was great. This part was not favorite but hmm. they talked about engaging with clients by asking questions, like how their kid's birthday or their spouse’s events went. etc While that’s great, I was thinking it might be better to keep things lighter, like asking about the weather or any fun plans coming up, instead of diving into personal topics.
  9. For those of us enrolled in Fiverr’s new brief system, I wanted to share some thoughts and see what you all think. A couple of things stood out to me, like the minimum brief price being $20, which feels a bit high. I mean, it's Fiverr so shouldn't the lowest price be five bucks? 🤔 Another thing I’ve noticed is how unclear inactive briefs are on the mobile app. On my phone, I had no idea a brief was inactive so i couldn't talk or send offer, On the computer, it’s much easier to tell and It is one time thing so i know now. I’d love to know if others are experiencing similar issues or have any tips on navigating this new system. Let’s chat!
  10. Thanks! Now that I read my post, I do sound like a crybaby 😂
  11. It looks great! Your result turned out really well, and you uploaded it just the way I liked. The one I uploaded covered the whole page, like my face was attacking people 🙂, and my version colors didn’t blend well with the filter 🤮.
  12. It's fun but I didn’t like how the colors turned out. My image didn’t blend well with the filter, and the result just didn’t look good. Plus, the filter is labeled as 'graphic design,' which in fiverr is what it is. I create 3d models so I don’t think it fits. I believe a more accurate term would be something like 'digital modeling' or 'digital sculpting,' as these reflect the real creative process better. 😠 I don’t do graphic, and I don’t create designs. I wish I could that would be fun!
  13. I'm not enrolled in the new brief system yet, but I can still say that the old brief system has many problems. I received so many briefs that I had to reject because I wasn't doing that type of work. I think this happened because my gig had a few similar options that triggered the briefs. In the new brief system, we can choose which ones to work with, instead of the client choosing.
  14. Great post! You’re spot on standing out reduces competition and helps buyers find you more easily. Offering a unique style or tapping into underserved niches can really set you apart. I also agree about constantly learning and evolving. Staying updated on trends and improving your skills is key, especially for new sellers. And passion? That’s essential. Doing what you love shows in your work and keeps clients coming back. Thanks for sharing great advice for sellers at all stages!
  15. Due to the new update, like the rest of us, he is also missing the 'brief' option. Previously, there was a 'brief price' that we could set.
