I agree with this however it seems that nowadays nothing is sure on Fiverr ... too many things that need to be taken into consideration when making any kind of move. A few years ago Fiverr was really a fun and friendly place , freelancing was really awesome, not it seems to be more and more complicated for reasons that can't be understood by many

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback

well maybe but I still think it's some kind of bug then otherwise all of those users would've been banned by now -
yes and no.. you'll receive the same message but at least if many people will write they will put some pressure on them and they might solve the issue , it's just thought

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
the truth is that for now they don't know either , I assume that this will be solved in the following days , don't worry too much about it for now. -
whenever I discussed with support about the internet connection that I am using ( There were times when I was forced to use the free wifi offered by a hotel ) they assured me that there wouldn't be any kind of problem and they were right... or I was lucky I don't know. What if in the room next to me someone else on Fiverr was using the wifi? With the new system, they might say that I have multiple accounts right ?

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
well that sucks, they are forcing us to delete them even if they are new... I have a gig that offers aerial footage ( drone video ) from my country, I only had 5-6 big orders without any issues at all , today I woke up with a score of 3/10 without any reason, it says it has a negative impact when it comes to effective communication which is completely false and that's the only ' metric ' available for that gig. My overall success score is still 10/10 , many things are wrong with the new system. If you have a few successful gigs you are forced to stick with them. Who creates new gigs if in a short period of times they'll have bad success scores for them that eventually on the long run will harm your account? I don't understand why is Fiverr shooting itself in the foot like that. -
believe it or not I was doing this for years... I always notified support when I was going somewhere outside my country... freelance should be fun not so stressful honestly , they are making decisions that are destroying what Fiverr was a few years ago...

It might be so but if Fiverr staff won't see them it's useless

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
Some strong suggestions that could make the new level/rating system better and acceptable for sellers: - Lower the threshold for each level: Level 1 - Success Score 4 / Level 2 - Success Score 6 / TRS - Success Score 8 If the current rating system especially the value for money remains the same then the average rating should be lowered as well: Level 1 - Rating 4.4 - Level 2 - Rating 4.5 - TRS - Rating 4.6 More transparency on how the success score is calculated If the success score won't change that often at least add a couple of decimals so we can see when it goes up or down ( Success score 8.49, 9.55, etc ). Remove the lowest rating in a 60-day period from all the metrics ( as it was ) Perhaps make the ' value for money ' part of the rating count less from what it is now. Change the way buyers rate when they leave TIP. If for whatever reason they give 3-4 stars for value for money but then they tip... the value for money should still count as 5 stars, there is no reason to tip if the value for money was anything lower than 5 stars. If something should be increased perhaps the average response time. Level 1 85% Level 2 90% TRS 95% , 24 hours to respond to a message is more than enough for anyone who cares about their Fiverr account in my opinion. -

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback

I am not sure if it was asked or not.. there are too many messages to go through but perhaps @Kesha has an answer to this. Will partial refunds have any negative impact in the overall success score? -
Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
Well yes, some buyers don't know how to rate and it seems that Fiverr is forcing them to give us lower reviews because in their opinion 4 is bigger than 5, however, we still have to maintain a minimum of 4.7 average rating to be a TRSfor instance. Lower reviews are more ' credible ' in Fiver's opinion ( and only Fiverr's opinion I think ) -
Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
Some updates are good, but things should be much easier... As a seller I do my job exactly as I should do my job, no cutting corners, always being polite, always sending updates, follow ups, and so on... I understand that others might not do the same but seriously now when you are a seller on a platform like Fiverr which is one of the biggest freelancer platforms in the entire world you would want to have a little peace of mind and to be left to do your job properly without worrying daily about the new rating system, success scores, private feedbacks, getting banned, getting warnings and so on. I understand that there are rules and people need to follow those rules, it's completely normal but most sellers at least the ones who actually do what they say, and their purpose here is to deliver high quality would want to be left in pace..and to focus on what they do. These updates can have a bad influence of our quality of work not to mention about mental health . You can't do your best while having to worry about all these things. -

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
It wouldn't be that bad if the system would be more clear... and the threshold for some metrics would be lowered. That overall success score should be lowered in my opinion for each level with a point 8/10 for TRS and so on. Same as for the overall rating since the new rating system is also changed, you can't expect to maintain a 4.7 average rating when the buyer is required to publicly rate the order for ' value for money ', some people will never be satisfied with what they pay even if the price is public in plus not all the buyers are power users , some of them simply don't know how to rate, it happened to me and to others several times in the past weeks. -
😄 thank you, I think i'll try some whiskey though

and look at this kind of bizarre user... Fiverr says that this won't affect my metrics in any way but is that really the case? Maybe tomorrow I will see '' Order cancellations-strong negative impact ''

either that or they simply don't care there are so many things wrong with the current rating system, not to mention the value for money part that is dragging down all of the gigs. some of the buyers even complain for 5$ gigs ... imagine what they do for the 200$

indeed, however ... are all of those buyers dishonest when writing a 5 star review then complain in private?

You can simply block him if you don't want to work with him in the future. You don't really need to let him know I guess. Discussing with him about it might get you in trouble .
