  1. Whoever added (Teach The AI) to the title of this post - great idea. Could you go back and add "The" in between Using and Brief? 😀
  2. The main service I want to receive is editing work, either short creative works, or business copy. I have other gigs, but these are my favorites. It has taken almost a month for me to get the matches working. At first, the only match was "writing" and the briefs weren't even close. Transcriptions, things like that. You're now getting 3 relevant briefs per day - music to my ears!
  3. A couple of weeks back I was talking with @vickieito, and shared my frustration at the Briefs feature on Fiverr. I kept getting "matches" that had nothing to do with the services I provide. I had about decided the thing just didn't work effectively enough to bring in work. She mentioned she had the same issue when she first started using it. What she tried was just to keep receiving matches, and when it wasn't a good fit, make sure to check the response "This is not a service I provide." She said after a while, the AI in the matching process began to learn what she offered, and she began to get more accurate matches. She said she now gets more and more good matches. I began to do the same. I had to be patient, because the "not such a great fit" briefs continued for a while. Today, I got a brief that was a service I provided, and sent off a Custom Offer. I think it's beginning to work. You go, AI!
  4. Hi Vickie. I've been following your advice about Briefs. I've left it on, and if a brief doesn't match my service, I just check that response. Well, after doing that for a while, this morning I did actually get a brief for which I am qualified and offer the service. So you're right - give the AI time to learn, and it gets more accurate matches. Thanks so much for the insight!

lol - I hear you. We haven't been hearing much except "not good matches" on this topic. Maybe we should post on this in the Seller Plus Forum, so everyone can take advantage. I tried to find our conversation, but couldn't.

If you start the thread, I'll chime in! 😊

lol - we work well together, because we think along the same lines. I just posted the thread under "tips for sellers."

  5. OK, I'm turning off the Brief feature again. I gave it a solid chance. The last two briefs I got were for: 1) Typing and transcribing documents 2) Help create a fantasy video game I have nothing in my profile to indicate that I would be a fit for either of these briefs. If this is as close as they can get because the category is "Writing & Translation," I can now say I think this new matching is a total fail. I'll turn it on again later and see if they get any closer to actual matches that could lead to work.
  6. Boy, that's a key item to consider, Gina! Yes, the one time I responded, the buyer had access to my inbox. It was a very nice buyer, but I can see the potential for abuse. Also - I just got another brief. To answer Instagram messages in Spanish for the buyer. Not even close!
  7. I just got a brief, and it came as an email and through notifications. They may have just added this feature.
  8. I turned on the Briefs feature again about a week ago to give it another try. The types matches they made for me consisted of matching based on the word "writer," I think. One was for a fantasy book, the other a children's book, neither of which I offer. I did get one match that fit for me and I responded to, but the budget was way off. I'm not terribly hopeful at this point either, but I'm willing to see if they continue to refine the process and make the matches useful.
  9. I thought this was an introductory offer, and after the first year, the price would be $149 per year, which is where @gina_riley2 began this thread. Has that policy officially changed? I just searched on the site without signing up, and you're right @smashradio, I could use it for free. Now I'm wondering if the site hasn't gotten the traction they hoped for, so they're leaving it open for now. But I suspect at some point the standard yearly charge will be in place.
  10. Very interesting! I just saw the "Talent Vetting Process" on the Fiverr Business website, and it answers all the questions I had. I swear this must be a new entry, because I've looked over the site several times, and never saw this. Either that, or I had a brain freeze and just missed it, also a possibility.
  11. I hear you. I'm not terribly confident in their matching process on the normal marketplace. On the Business Marketplace, no one seems to know if there will be a matching component to give buyers a selection of relevant sellers, and make their process easier.
  12. The matching you're talking about is within the Brief process for sellers. I seem to remember there was mention of some type of AI that would provide suitable seller options for a buyer within the new Business Marketplace. Granted, I haven't heard much about it recently, so that's why I wondered if it had been activated.
  13. Yes, I think they were very focused on the setup and presentation, to make sure the profiles fit their new setup. Absolutely - customer satisfaction is a big part of being a top seller. It also leads to high repeat sales, which is an indicator we're doing things right as viewed by the buyers.
  14. You're right! I had forgotten about all those vetting steps I also had to go through to be approved for the Fiverr Business Marketplace.
  15. There was talk of a "matching process," which would make the process much easier for buyers. If that has been implemented, it would serve your needs well, but if it were me, I'd ask if that feature is in place before signing up. From the seller side, I've seen a bit of an uptick in "Business" clients, but I think it's just gotten started, so I'm watching to see how the whole initiative works once it gets up to speed. "Tough standards," I have some doubts about that process. It seems like they have dumped a LOT of sellers into the business marketplace, where there was talk originally that it might be just for the highest performing sellers. That wouldn't affect things from your side, if they help you match with the most suitable sellers.
  16. @sabinespoemsI think you'll really like this new navigation bar. They have finally split apart "notifications" and "messages." I never liked it when they combined those two features, so just that one change is a great improvement. The one feature I had to hunt around a bit for was "switch to selling," which is now under my account name. I like this new format so much I sent a message to CS to congratulate the team on the new format.
  17. Yes they did, and just introduced it this morning. It's a huge improvement over what had become a cluttered navigation bar.
  18. I just got confirmation that the entire Fiverr Business Marketplace is active. So far, it's looked like a pretty ineffective effort, at least for me. They approved a LOT of sellers in that category, unlike it being a space for the elite sellers, as had been alluded to early on. I've seen only a minimal amount of traffic from "Business" buyers. My gigs used to be consistently on the first page of search results, and now it looks like they dropped my gigs way down in the search results, I suspect because I had been accepted in the Marketplace. The net effect for me is loss of business. Anyone else have thoughts about their experience with the Marketplace?
  19. Yes, Marketplace has been working on the buyer side. However, there was mention of things on the seller side like helping to match buyers with the most suitable sellers. It was supposed to be a whole new group of features that would take Fiverr Business to the next level. That's the side that was hinted at starting back in April, May, but we've heard nothing since.
  20. Just curious if anyone has any updates on the launch of the Fiverr Business Marketplace. I contacted CS to see if they could put me in touch with someone who knew what was going on, and they believe it launched a long time ago. Seems like there's some confusion about the status of the initiative. @frank_d @newsmike. Seems like with all the attention they gave it when we were setting up our business profiles, they would have made a big production about launching FBM, but it's been totally quiet.
  21. I think it was in December 2021 that I was told to spruce up my profile for the upcoming Fiverr Business Marketplace. Then I didn't hear much for a while, and I assumed they were developing the initiative. Then I heard from threads on the forum that they were finalizing the Seller side and would begin deploying in late April, early May. Since then, we have heard nothing about the Marketplace, and I'm wondering if the initiative is just dead, or has been postponed because of - well, who knows why. In case anyone from the team developing this program reads the forum, it sure would be helpful to know what's going on, if anything.
  22. It has seemed really slow on the messaging system recently. But a quick update. I just received a message. Hopefully a good sign that it is back in working order.
  23. Thanks for letting me know you don't have any news on it, Frank.
  24. It seems like the Business Marketplace is overdue for rollout. Any news on current status and expected date of deployment?
