  1. I think it was in December 2021 that I was told to spruce up my profile for the upcoming Fiverr Business Marketplace. Then I didn't hear much for a while, and I assumed they were developing the initiative. Then I heard from threads on the forum that they were finalizing the Seller side and would begin deploying in late April, early May. Since then, we have heard nothing about the Marketplace, and I'm wondering if the initiative is just dead, or has been postponed because of - well, who knows why. In case anyone from the team developing this program reads the forum, it sure would be helpful to know what's going on, if anything.
  2. It has seemed really slow on the messaging system recently. But a quick update. I just received a message. Hopefully a good sign that it is back in working order.
  3. Thanks for letting me know you don't have any news on it, Frank.
  4. It seems like the Business Marketplace is overdue for rollout. Any news on current status and expected date of deployment?
  5. Awesome Frank! I'll read it right now. Thanks for letting me know you posted this.
  6. Thanks for the response, Frank. I do get it that you have a lot of things going on right now.
  7. He liked it, so I assume he saw the message.
  8. It doesn't feel good to be ignored.
  9. Say, @frank_d, are you going to be posting what you found out on your trip to Fiverr headquarters soon? I'm particularly curious as the Business Marketplace gets closer to going live. You made a comment on another thread about how you had misunderstood what they were planning for that initiative, and how important it was to have a Business profile. It sounds like you got a very good read on what they're doing, and I'm interested in your thoughts about it.
  10. Excellent news, Frank! Thanks for letting us know.
  11. I just got a message that said "Your profile was approved by our team for placement in the Fiverr Business marketplace." Has anyone heard any news about when this initiative is due for rollout?
  12. I just got another brief that didn't fit for the services I provide. I think I'm going to turn off the feature for a while, and continue to monitor on the forum, to see if any improvements are introduced which make this feature worth using. So far, it has just wasted my time. Just out of curiosity, has anyone received a brief that led to an actual work opportunity?
  13. I completely agree! I've gotten two of them, and reported both to CS. I hope they can clean up this type of solicitation.
  14. I completely agree. I haven't received a brief yet that had parameters even close to the service I provide.
  15. I turned on the feature, and it does look much improved. I received a brief, and it was a person soliciting work. I reported them, and let's hope we can keep that from happening a lot.
  16. I've been getting more of these types of requests in the last several weeks. I also report them.
  17. Thanks for doing that, Frank! I'd love to see this product be useful and helpful.
  18. Thanks for the confirmation, Vickie! Maybe if everyone turns off the feature, they'll figure out that it's not performing the intended function correctly.
  19. Hopefully that data will reveal how unproductive the Brief feature is.
  20. I just received a brief that was so useless in terms of trying to provide a Custom Offer that I went back and turned off the Get Briefs feature.
  21. It would have been nice if they had stated that as their intention for the meeting. But I've seen that with programmers before. They want to invent the next exciting widget, rather than the less exciting work of testing and reevaluating to ensure that the current features work correctly for the end user.
  22. You know, @frank_d, one time I was in a focus group as a user with a team of software programmers, and ran into this same thing. They didn't really want input or feedback - they just wanted endorsement. When I tried to give feedback, I got a similar response to the one you got. If the "team" had already decided what they are going to do, why even bother with having a support session to discuss the product? Why waste the user's time, just to try to elicit an "attaboy." They didn't want to hear that "the emperor has no clothes." Unfortunate. I had high hopes about the new Business Marketplace, but my hopes are diminished when I hear this type of response. Thanks for keeping us updated, Frank!
  23. I got a brief a while back, and it was not a good fit at all with my skillset. I think I will watch a bit more, but I agree with above comments - felt half baked and not a matching service I'd choose to rely on. Yikes! What a condescending response. Sounds like they are not at all open to input, but have decided what they want to do. I would be interested to find out if any member of this "team" has any experience working as a freelancer. They sound pretty out of touch.
