  1. Being selected as a TRS is such an uncertain process, that it's difficult to say what they might be doing.
  2. Any sales? Nope. In the Pro category there are only a couple of sales so far.
  3. I speak English and Texan. "Rat cheer. Ouch under." These are Texas phrases meant to describe the location of something - it is either right here, or out yonder. Wide open spaces is why we have to use those terms.
  4. So that's why we couldn't access the orders I did for Fiverr in 2018! 😀Thanks for letting me know. My SM sent me the links to those orders, and I plugged them in to the Verification page, and if they reject it, hopefully she can let them know to accept them.
  5. Well here's an interesting side note about the slump issue, combined with AI. I turned Buyer Briefs back on recently, figuring I'd do it "just in case," and "wanting to leave no stone unturned." I just received a Buyer Brief that was - an actual match. I almost fell down in shock. Part two - the Brief was to edit AI generated business content, to make it "sound more human." I set up a brief for that specific purpose several weeks back, thinking that as businesspeople began to learn how to work with chat gpt and the other generators, they would realize that it still needed to be edited. It's a pretty interesting confluence of circumstances. I've responded to the Brief, and we'll see if anything comes of it. But I am heartened by the direction. I do know that my AI Content Editing gig got a massive number of impressions and clicks, so maybe this is a result of businesspeople learning how to generate content with AI.
  6. Mike, did the chat gpt really generate that? Oh, that is the ultimate statement about the results you get. Surely you jest! "Stop calling me Shirley!" - Airplane.
  7. First, I'm a bit overwhelmed by how fast all of these various factors are hitting us - thanks for asking, Frank! So what I'm trying to do is give myself some calm time to reflect and think through how I want to move forward, and move in a rational manner, rather than making hasty decisions. The things I can control - I'm doing much like others have discussed here. I updated and refreshed my profile recently, so that's in solid shape. I'll go back and review my gigs, and see what I can tweak and improve. I'm looking at prices, but not making drastic changes just yet. I'm still receiving contacts from potential buyers, but they just seem hesitant to pull the trigger and place an order. Because of the AI explosion right now, I've added a gig for "Editing AI Generated Content For Business." I specified business to separate the gig from general editing. I think a lot of people in the business world may be trying to figure out how to use the AI content generators, but they'll soon realize it still needs a human to clean it up and edit. The impressions and clicks I have gotten from this gig were incredible - 3 times higher than my current best selling gig to "Edit Business Content." No orders yet, but I think that will change as people figure out how to work the AI world more effectively. I agree with this positive uptick for the freelance world, but it may take a bit for it to filter through to us. I mentioned on the forum that the last time I saw a slump this severe was when Covid first hit, and it felt like people just froze in their tracks. In a month or two, it leveled off, and things picked back up. I think that will happen again in this current environment.
  8. Request to Order came out as my sales were beginning to slip. At first I set it up for all my gigs. Then I scaled back on my setup of that feature, thinking that maybe in Fiverr's wish for quick transactions, they might drop you down in search results if you didn't have "quick completion of orders" capability.
  9. I got the confirmation of the "it was a mistake" email. My SM also said: I've looked into this and the email was in fact sent in error and has no impact on your account. No need to worry, it won't have any impact on placement in the algorithm. 😊 That sounds like the official position, and no indication that the Development Team would be contacted about us being in the penalty box. Less than totally reassuring.
  10. That is just astonishing! The value of the forum just proved itself in my opinion. If I wasn't active here, I'd have thought my Fiverr freelance ship was sinking, with no clue how to bail it out. I have felt so much relief today that I hadn't been hit by the low BSR occurrence, that it was a mistake after all. Now if we can get some relief from the effects that still seem to be plaguing so many of us.
  11. I think this is a valid point, and one we need to follow up on. Here's an email I just sent my SM: This is a followup to the earlier email I sent you regarding the email that many of us received, indicating a drop in our Buyer Satisfaction Rate. A number of sellers are experiencing a drop in our sales/impressions/contacts as if our BSR had actually dropped. Could you please reach out to the Development Team that is working on this issue? I’d like to ask - if the email was in error, could there possibly be an unintended impact from whatever led to the email being generated? Could it be that somehow sellers who received this email are now being treated as if their BSR had in fact dropped? There’s a lot of concern about this issue among a number of sellers. Thanks, Dan It may do absolutely no good, but if the "developer dudes" don't know their tinkering had an unintended consequence, I want to at least see if we can alert them, so they can take action to reverse the screwup. I don't expect much, but we can always hope. Maybe if everyone who got the email in error sends a similar message to their SM, it can alert them to the scope of the issue.
  12. Sh**t! That makes sense too. Supervised by the $5 "expart" I'm sure. I still don't have an answer to my open question asking if anyone on the Fiverr staff has ever worked as a freelancer. Sellers being impacted by "developer dudes" who are on salary and playing with toys is a scary thought!
  13. Yeah, that makes sense. When he was my SM, he actually sent out an email that he was too busy to respond to anything but the most vital requests, or something like that. I was glad when he moved on. He Peter Principled up the food chain.
  14. There was a Fiverr supervisor type with "success' on his handle on the read list for this thread a few minutes ago. Now he's gone. Hopefully he's alerting the troops, but maybe he just didn't want to fall into the middle of this.
  15. Yes, that makes sense too. A messup on their end, that is causing us problems. You know, I have released IT types who made a screwup this big before. Who is supervising the group in charge of this mess? Or maybe the better question is - is anyone supervising this dev group?
  16. I just contacted my SM about the email. I want to see if they have an actual company statement about it. Now that I think about it - if Fiverr knew it was a mistake, where was the retraction? Why did we all go through this anguish and upset unnecessarily? Why are we finding out only because @visualstudios was smart enough to ask his SM about it? We should have been informed! Oh, and a "sorry" would be greatly appreciated!
  17. Yes, this is definitely another sign that something odd is going on!
  18. Well said, Alex. I've had the same experience, and hope it doesn't have to become a primary revenue generator as well.
  19. We had an interesting discussion about all the economic factors that might be causing slumps for us freelancers, and how buyers are hesitating to buy right now. I'm wondering - could those same types of factors be impacting Promoted Gigs in a similar way. It intuitively makes sense that if buyers are not as active right now, a Promoted Gig won't motivate them to make a purchase. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/301169-how-a-recession-can-affect-us-as-sellers-and-freelancers/#comment-1896027
  20. Yes, Vickie, I did notice that. Interesting timing, because I just got my Promoted Gig invoice for March. The results were anemic.
  21. Great point, Mike! By contrast, in Fiverr world, if you are a solid producer, you get penalized by the one dissatisfied customer. What a great loyalty and retention incentive for sellers.
  22. What I'm taking away from this is that "new seller" does not actually mean someone who is placing their first order on Fiverr. I checked all my orders going back to my last cancellation, trying to figure out how I got the email, and the only one who might qualify had previously placed 8 orders. Where's the threshold, I wonder? Fiverr logic - NEW does not mean NEW. But I can get penalized more for it anyway if I don't please a buyer who falls into that category. Sheesh! I checked the Buyer Activity Tool, and couldn't find any enlightenment on this issue.
  23. You really stated the essence of the minimal help this new email provides for us. It's really nuts!
  24. I got the email, and after looking through the help resources, they were not very helpful. If they don't give you info on who was dissatisfied, the email doesn't help much. Yes, this is a great question. "Based on what" we've noticed a drop in your BSR? lol - yup, if it is a "benefit" of being in Seller Plus to get this email - pretty meaningless. I wish I could find a great gif about trying to navigate a minefield, because that's what it feels like recently to be a seller on Fiverr. Lots of mines, and of course they are hidden from the sellers, so you never know when you might go BOOM and your sales plummet.
