Wondering if a seller should ask for your credit card number to set up a Google Ad Words account ? Skeptical of giving a credit card number to a complete stranger…Thoughts anyone ?

Of course you shouldn’t give your credit card number to any seller on fiverr.

To set up the payment for your Google Ads you will need to add your credit card details to it. However, you should not give these to someone, you should do it yourself. Get the login details and enter them yourself.
The seller may be honest and not be trying to do anything wrong. There is no way to know for sure though so don’t do it.

Please, report this seller and make sure to never give out your credit card details. This is all hadled by fiverr. When you purchase a gig, that is the only time when you should be entering your details. Maybe stick to experienced sellers, who have good reviews. They would obviously be more trustworthy, and they know the Fiverr system very well.

dont share your credit card info to anyone and be careful with any seller, who ask you about that info. That’s illegal.

Don’t provide any types of sensitive information like that. Even if you give the admin access for a website or anything for the project when you have your job done change the admin access info as soon as possible. I don’t say that the seller is bad but you have to be alert.
