i have been a seller on Fiverr for nearly 10 years and now i'm very disappointed with this platform. Now they don't care anything about the seller because they have many sellers who works as a slaver for just few bucks and try to compete with others. Fiverr team now just try to earn as many fee as they can from both seller and buyer. Organic traffic is down day by day and you have no choice but to pay for promoted gig :D.

i have been a seller on Fiverr for nearly 10 years and now i have to say i totally agree with you : Fiverr try to get more sellers on their platform and didn't care about the quality of seller + old sellers. My account was spamed by nearly 100 fake orders ( order then cancel ), i wrote ticket to ask for help, but they even didn't do anything helpful to protect the seller other than offer me to delete my gig. That is my best seller gig and they adviced me to delete it :). Funny. Promoted gig is also another joke :D. Sellers don't know where do they promote their gig and no clear analytic. Fiverr nowadays just try to get more and more fee from sellers.

you don’t have that option because you are not the one who is selected by Fiverr. This option is not available for everyone. Max amout is 5k$. In fact , i saw that Fiverr give each seller a different amout, based on average income they earned on Fiverr monthly, usually double your income. For exp. if your average income monthly is 1k$, then max amount Fiverr lend you will be 2k$. Interest = 13,6%.

I got 118 impression for 3 promoted gigs + 7 clicks + 1 message from new buyer ( but he decided to not buy service because he want to do by himself 😤 ). I checked traffic of 3 promoted gigs everydays and it seems nothing better than usual because i can’t keep increasing bidding price day by day. I don’t want to work hard then give all my money for Fiverr. 20% is enough for them. They did many upgrades but nothing better for us, just to make the platform messed up. I missed few-years-ago-Fiverr. Not many upgrade but it works well for all new and old seller.

In my experience, when my gig rank go up, i will recieve message in inbox at least fews a day. But promoting with Fiverr, even rank go up but no message and very few clicks . Just wonder again which kind of buyer is Fiverr promoting my gig to ? This is a really fun game. I wake up everymorning and checking static of promoting gig is the thing i do of the day :D.

No, I am not. I did not expect to see an ad. I just thought Fiverr moved the gig up in the placement on the search pages. I noticed right away that there were some sellers on the top lines I had never seen there before and they had 8 to 14 orders, so I assume they were promoted. The one with 14 went OOO for a bit but now she is back. i think you are right. However if we compete by increasing more and more price to win the bid then all of us are loser. Only Fiverr is the winner. They get high profit and we can’t stop pay more to see our gig on first page in a very short time.

but are you sure your orders came from the ad ? This is not the first time Fiverr test their gig promotio feature. They did it few years ago. At that time, i was also chosen to be one of tester. I placed the bid,i saw my gig on first page randomly ( with ad sign ), got impression and also got few orders. It seems to works well but then Fiverr stop testing. Now, after few years, they bring it back but it’s now weird. A promotion without seeing ad lol

in the category where one of my gig is allowed to be promoted, Fiverr suggest me starting bidding price = 0.11$. I placed at 0.70$ but it got few impressions. Since i don’t see the ad anywhere on the platform, i don’t understand where Fiverr promote the gig. It looks like this is a beta test and Fiverr show ads randomly somewhere to somebody ( only they know ) , not truly buyers. They are testing how system works and how seller play with their bidding price.

I got this feature too and tried to turn it on. But i didn’t get the $10 bonus and after 6 hours, nothing happens. No impression, no click blah blah ( even if i increase bid price ). I also check on categories and didn’t see any kind of sponsored gigs. Just wonder where did Fiverr promote our gigs ???
